When you choose to venture away from your shangri-la you will find a host of modern amenities like a grocery store, post office, shops and galleries, as well as lots of activities including tours of beautiful botanical gardens, horseback riding, zip line rides, river and ocean kayaking, boat tours, snorkeling and swimming, surfing and windsurfing, fishing, golfing and, of course, sightseeing the natural wonders of Kauai, to name just a few.

You will also want to be sure to stop by at least one of the Sunshine or farmer's Markets for fresh, local vegetables and fruit to include in meals that you choose to prepare at home. There is an electric grill as well as the fully equipped kitchen where you can create your culinary masterpieces.

This charming cottage is multi-level with the loft-style master suite upstairs complete with its own bathroom. The second bedroom is also open and the walls do not reach the ceiling. It is on a different level a few steps down and also has its own bathroom. The lower level, a few steps down from the second bedroom, is the main living area with the kitchen, dining nook and living room. Sliding glass doors in the living room lead to your private lanai and dipping pool. In case you return from the beach and want to rinse off before going inside, there is an outdoor solar shower for your convenience.
