The luxurious yet affordable Cow Creek Suite for Two is designed to help you get the most out of your vacation dollars while enjoying a home base that fits the classic western grandeur of the surrounding landscape.
Cow Creek Suite For Two has always been maintained smoke, pet and allergen free with allergen barrier bedding and an AccuClean (TM) Whole Home Air Filtration System. It also features:
- a comfy king bed with 400 thread-count, 100% cotton sheets
- private bathroom
- well-equipped kitchenette
- full size, in-unit washer and dryer
- HDTV with satellite TV service by Dish Network
- high-speed, password protected wireless internet service
- secure, indoor storage for two bicycles
- custom woodwork and high-quality furnishings
Located just nine highway miles north of Ouray at the very edge of the town of Ridgway, the convenient location is as quiet as it gets yet close-in enough to save you time getting to all the places you want to go in "San Juan Country". Ridgway's network of wide, pedestrian and bike friendly sidewalks are accessed directly across the street for a quick, easy walk or ride into the center of town and all its many fine restaurants, shops, and attractions. Highlights include the Ridgway Visitor Center, Railroad Museum, Ranch History Museum, Town Park, County Fairgrounds, and River Trail. (The River Trail traverses the Uncompahgre River corridor to Dennis Weaver Memorial Park and Ridgway State Park and will also get you to many of the area's awesome trails for cross-country skiing, hiking and single-track.)
SUMMER GUESTS PLEASE NOTE! Thanks in part to a growing family of repeat guests (we've averaged 14 repeat guests per year since 2016) half of our summer dates are typically reserved by January so if you have specific dates in mind please book early.
WAIVER OF 3 NIGHT MINIMUM: We will gladly waive the 3 night minimum wherever our availability calendar shows only one or two open nights...just inquire before booking.

The SERVICE FEE is what travelers are charged by Vrbo for using the Vrbo booking platform - as your hosts we have nothing to do with this. The HOST FEE is set by us and is actually a cleaning fee the sole purpose of which is to ensure you can expect the unit to be immaculately clean upon your arrival - including freshly laundered towels, bed linens AND blankets (we do not use bed spreads). We make no money on this fee as 100% of what we receive from Vrbo is paid to our outstanding cleaning service who have been under contract with us for many years. Cow Creek Suite For Two operates under License No. STR2017-17 issued by the Town of Ridgway. Before choosing a short term rental property make certain it is operating legally with a valid, government issued license prominently displayed in their listing or call the appropriate local administration offices to verify the rental property is properly licensed.

Ideally located between Telluride and Ouray along the San Juan Skyway, perhaps the most scenic of the entire Colorado Scenic and Historic Byway System. This paved highway forms a 236 mile loop in the southwest part of Colorado traversing the heart of the San Juan Mountains. Cow Creek Suite For Two is just 37 scenic highway miles from Telluride's incredible snow skiing and summer festivals, yet only a short walk or drive to Ridgway and Ouray's natural hot springs, unique historic attractions, affordable shops, great restaurants and limitless outdoor adventures.
