3 bedroom with off road parking for 2 cars ,sleep up to 5 adults or family of 6. One family room with double and single bed, and one twin room on the top floor, and a very small single room{full size bed} which is on the lower floor. The lounge/kitchen-dinner are split level and open plan. Bathroom with shower over bath on the top floor and 2nd wc on lower floor. Play barn with table tennis, pool table and table football and can be used to store bikes etc .We do allow a dog but there is a charge , we do have dogs, a cat and sheep, so should be under control at all times and never left in house or garden alone. Garden has stock fencing ,seating and B Q for your use. We are only 6 miles from sea side town of Barmouth, and just 3 miles from Market town of Dolgellau.

Lovely holiday

The cottage worked well for us with our late teen/ early 20s kids. Lots to do in the area and the cottage was a calm base to come home to. Fab views and all essential amenities provided

Fantastic stay

The property was great, fantastic views of the surrounding areas. Includes garden which created a wonderful time for the little one to play and explore. Highly recommend this place with good access to beaches, woodlands and mountains which allows you to relax and immerse yourself in the wilderness of Wales. Looking forward to booking another stay in the future.

Sally is very friendly and helpful. The house is good and big enough for 5 adults and two dogs. The garden and the view is great. Just the way from the street to the house is very difficult to drive.

A great base in a great area

We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. The garden is lovely on a sunny day, and Sally the host was very approachable and helpful. Also, the pizza place 300m away is excellent.

The Best View in Mid Wales

A super cottage with excellent facilities for our party of 4adults and one Border Terrier. Ideally located for travel to nearby places of interest. Superb view of Cadre Idris from the large lounge picture window. We will certainly recomend it.

Peaceful & relxed break in lovely area

The owners,Alice & Martin,live on the same site as the cottage we rented.They were very pleasant & helpful throughout our stay.The cottage was fully equipped and comfortable with a lounge area overlooking the Mawddach estuary and Cader Idris mountain through a large picture window. The 2 dwellings were alone beside the road to Barmouth ,convenient for other towns and walks in all directions in this beautiful area. Ideal for for a relaxed break .

Enjoyable stay

One of the reasons for booking the cottage was the view of Cadir Idris over the estuary. That was brilliant! If you’re looking for ‘The Ritz’ then I’m afraid you might be disappointed. However the cottage is clean, comfortable and is in a great location. Sally the owner was very friendly and helpful. We had a great week

We bought the house for the view and the size need a lot off rooms, as well as the land .
Just fell in Love, at 1st sight .
Still look out my window each day and say wow.

What makes this property unique

The views,the area, all you could ever want, you can swim in the lake just above us or in the sea some 6miles to the beach, walk for miles or cycle what ever takes your fancy.
