Dear Gerd, First of all, we would like to thank you for spending some of your time on writing a review about our house. We see that you appreciated and enjoyed the peacefulness that you, as many of our guests, have found in casa Marcial, and we are really glad about it. It is true, as you say, that you need a car while being there, but that is only natural if you are looking for that kind of place, far from tourist hotspots. Nevertheless, we also see that you have some complaints about the house, and we are, indeed, very sad about it. In fact, we are really surprised about your comment on the furniture and the atmosphere of the house. Regarding the latter, we ourselves spend our holidays in casa Marcial every year, so we really try to make it as comfortable and nice place as we can imagine. As for the furniture, we are always renovating it, and we have recently bought some of them, such as the nightstands in the main bedroom. In fact, we had only received positive comments on that in the last months: the guests that stay in the house before you found it homely and beautiful, and gave us the maximum punctuation; so the truth is that we are now wondering what could have been the problem with the house in your case, and what pieces of furniture you refer to. We could have even agreed on replacing it, if you had told us about any problem with it while your stay in the house. To sum up, we end up being really sad about not having matching your expectations and not even knowing exactly why. Warm greetings, Gonzalo
