Nice property with lots of outdoor things to enjoy. Quiet neighborhood and not too far from town centre. Really enjoyed our stay.

10 Star Hosts

We stayed in this lovely 2 bedroom apartment for five days. It was extremely spacious ( especially for the UK) and located in a pretty and quiet area of Belfast. We travelled everywhere by bus which was a convenient walk from the apartment. The hosts were overwhelmingly kind and provided us with plenty of supplies for our stay. We were clearly spoiled on this leg of our journey!

Comfortable, quiet and spacious, but removed from city centre

The good-sized apartment was clean, very well-stocked (including continental breakfast supplies) and marvellously quiet. Host was very friendly and helpful. 20 mins walk to Belfast Castle and Cave Hill Park. I think this would be ideal for those who are driving and intend to do day trips with Belfast as a home base. Not the most walker-friendly, as closest shop was 10 mins’ walk, and few pubs or restaurants in the immediate area. Good direct and frequent buses to centre, but again almost 10 mins’ walk to bus stop. I would return to this property, as I now know how to navigate the public transit: the retreat from the noise and tourists is worth the walk!

Excellent Stay!!

My family stayed 2 nights in this Belfast apartment in early August. It turned out to be our family's favorite place to stay on our 16 day vacation. The apartment is on an upper floor. Alan is the only host who took the time to email us to make sure my mother-in-law could navigate the steps. Nice touch! Alan met us at the door. The apartment is very spacious. Two large bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom made our stay very enjoyable. Alan was so helpful arranging for our taxi cab tour of the murals. It was the best! I highly recommend this apartment and make sure to ask Alan for his recommendations for restaurants (it's all in his book on the coffee table, if you forget to ask) and for tours. He is very knowledgable.

Urlaub im Paradies

Die 14 Tage waren viel zu schnell vorbei, keiner wollte nach Hause. Die Kinder haben den Pool geliebt, ebenso den coolen Kühlschrank. Es war alles da, was man brauchte, und sollte doch mal etwas fehlen, so ist Darius zur Stelle und kümmert sich. Damit keiner denkt, dies wäre eine Fakebewertung: ein kleines scharfes Messer zum Gemüse. Zwiebeln usw schneiden könnte die Küche noch brauchen... Bei der Hitze war die Klimaanlage ein Geschenk und sorgte für erholsamen Schlaf. Die Umgebung bietet von Allem viel, ob Sport, Strand, Kultur, Shopping....

Villa de rêve

Excellent séjour dans une villa très bien équipée et agencée. Nous avons passé beaucoup de temps sur la terrasse grâce à une météo de rêve pour un mois de février. C’est une maison très adaptée pour un séjour en famille avec des adolescents. Tout est accessible à pied ( plage, port , Skatepark extra, balades…). Le gros plus, est la possibilité d’amener notre chien. Le jardin est clôturé par des murs hauts donc pas de soucis avec les chiens du voisinage. Merci encore aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse .

Fast perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir waren für 2 Wochen in der Ferienwohnung (es ist entgegen der Darstellung kein eigenständiges Haus) und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Außenbereich ist wirklich toll gestaltet, die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll, die Ausstattung vorbildlich und die Unterstützung durch den Vermieter stets unkompliziert und die Beschreibung bei FeWo ist zutreffend (auch die Entfernungen)... also fast perfekt. Was uns etwas gestört hat und deshalb auch einen Stern kostet, sind die folgenden Punkte: Betritt man die Wohnung, fällt einem sofort und unangenehm der Zigarettengeruch auf... die Möbel im Wohnzimmer dünsten das Aroma aus, was auch durch Lüften nur kurzfristig verbessert wird. Das ist sehr schade. In den Schlafräumen gibt es aber keine Beeinträchtigung. Die Geräte in der Küche funktionieren soweit, sind aber (bis auf den Riesen-Kühlschrank) von sehr einfacher Qualität. Mag uns aber nur aufgefallen sein, weil wir sehr gerne und aufwendig kochen. Der Kugelgrill draußen hat auch schon bessere Tage gesehen... Wir hatten regelmäßige Ausfälle des Internets. Bucht man kostenpflichtig Bettzeug, so muss man die Betten dennoch selbst beziehen. Es gibt keine Insektenschutznetze, die wären echt hilfreich. Aber alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt wirklich superschön und das Objekt bietet einen solchen Komfort und strahlt einen solchen Scharm aus, dass es einem wirklich leicht fällt, sich wohl und heimelig zu fühlen. Daher unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Great place to stay!

Would definitely recommend this apartment, it has everything you need, a real home from home. The Continental breakfast is a bonus. We would use this accommodation again without hesitation. Very easy to communicate with the owner is a bonus.

Schönes, ruhig gelegenes Haus

Das Haus liegt oberhalb des Meeres in einem ruhigen Quartier. Auf rund hundert Quadratmetern Wohnfläche kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Umschwung mit diversen Unterhaltungsamöglichkeiten (Pool, Pingpong, Hängematten, etc) lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für erholsame Ferien braucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, die Wünsche der Gäste zu erfüllen. Das Haus ist grundsätzlich sauber, die kleinen Unpässlichkeiten liegen eher an vorherigen Besuchern, als am Besitzerpaar.

Ein sehr schönes, mit allem ausgerüstetes Domizil

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der sehr schönen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Villa sehr genossen. Die Beschreibung passt gut. Die Lage ist ruhig und mit dem Auto zentral. Der Eigentümer des Hauses war unkompliziert und zeigte sich jederzeit mobil ansprechbar. Vielen Dank Herr Mendes! Klare Empfehlung!

All the home comforts...

A colleague and I booked for one night whilst in Belfast on business and found ourselves wishing we were staying for a few days, as the apartment really was the perfect place to stay. Very clean and comfortable, this apartment had everything we needed and was a home away from home. Alan, our very friendly and gracious host, was there to greet us on arrival and he even throws in a well stocked fridge of breakfast items, gratis. It's so refreshing when you discover the accommodation you've booked turns out to be exactly as described and promised. Book and you won't be disappointed.

Hands down the BEST!

Quiet, end of the road and tucked in behind a golf course. This was our favorite accommodation as we toured the UK and Ireland. Alan met us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour and made sure we knew where to head for dinner. He had great recommendations for our drive up the coast to the Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle. We slept well in the spacious bedrooms and had plenty of space to relax at the end of our days of exploring Belfast. We definitely recommend this apartment. I've already told friends if they are headed to Belfast that we know where they should stay. Thanks for everything!

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour dans cette villa où tout est réuni pour passer de superbes vacances. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et la terrasse ombragée; maison très agréable et bien équipée où l'on se sent comme à la "maison". Bref nous y retournons cet été !

A beautiful apartment and an overall great experience.

We highly recommend this apartment. Allan met us when we arrived, and provided all the necessary information. Next time we are in Belfast , we would rent this apartment again!
