This confortable gite that sleeps 4 is situated on some distance of the main building and the horse stables. Very quiet spot with beautiful views. Pool shared with the other cottages.
The house is well-equipped, has a living room with TV, kitchen and showerroom/WC on the ground level, on the first floor are the 2 bedrooms and another showerroom/WC. Large terrace, furniture and sunshade.
From September till mid May electricity expenditure will be charged (0,25 €/kWh)

Heerlijk verblijf!

We hadden de gite geboekt maar toen we aankwamen bleek dat ook nog een deel van het grote huis beschikbaar was, waar we zonder meerkosten mochten verblijven. Heerlijk ruim verblijf was dat. Met wasmachine en vaatwasser! En met een mooi uitzicht. In de buurt van het schilderachtige dorpje Camon en ook Mirepoix met z'n markt was niet ver. We hebben genoten van de speelse poesjes die op het terrein woonden. Aanrader!

Jolie petite maison perdue dans un écrin de verdure

La maison est très mignonne avec ses grandes fenêtres et fraîche (malgré 38 degrés à l'extérieur). Les salles de bain sont agréables, la cuisine est très pratique et la literie est confortable. Pour les couples, il faut prendre en compte que ce sont des lits simples et prévoir les draps adaptés (on le voit sur les photos mais on ne fait pas forcément attention). Les chambres sont grandes avec de belles vues sur la nature. La petite terrasse isolée de la grande maison est bien agréable. L'accès peut être un peu compliqué et je déconseille une voiture sur baissée (partout en Ariège d'ailleurs !). Il faut aussi éviter les jeunes enfants car l'escalier n'est pas adapté mais en ce cas regardez les autres gîtes de la grande maison. L'accueil a été très sympathique et nous n'avons eu aucun souci bien que nous soyons arrivés plus tôt que prévu. La maison est propre dans l'ensemble mais comme toujours les locataires précédents peuvent être plus ou moins maniaques. Nous avons passé 2 semaines et je recommande pour le cadre et la localisation (mirepoix à 25min, foix à 40min, Montsegur à 1h et on peut facilement aussi aller dans l'aude comme alet les bains qui est à 25min. A noter chalabre à 10min avec un petit carrefour, boulangerie, boucherie, tabac et Camon juste à côté pour la baignade dans la rivière).

Gite en pleine campagne

Gite propre, bien équipé. On y accède par un chemin empierré avec "nids de poule". Pas facile. La piscine est propre et partagée avec d'autres locataires. La voiture est indispensable.

Avkopplande och vackert

Ett mysigt hus, perfekt för upp till fyra personer. Ligger avskilt och naturskönt, men med intressanta platser inom köravstånd. Ägaren var hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Alla bekvämligheter finns i huset. Det finns dessutom en svalkande lite pool med underbar utsikt över Pyrenéerna, som man delar med andra gäster. Trots varmt väder var det svalt i huset. Grannen har hästar och katter, men det störde inte.

Kristina och Olof är ett förtjusande par, mycket vänliga, kommunikativa och snälla, också mycket respektfulla och stillsam. Det var verkligen ett nöje att ha dem här. Huset var rent och i perfekt ordning efter avresan. Vi skulle gärna ha dem som gäster igen en dag!

"Owner was very helpful a...

"Owner was very helpful and we had a wonderful stay. Her friends were staying in the larger house and were also extremely friendly. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and the surroundings are superb. The children enjoyed the pool and the horse-riding. It would be nice to have WiFi, although it was only a few meters to walk to the main house, where we could use our lap-top."

"Le logement et l''équipe...

"Le logement et l''équipement est très bien, merci. Nous avons apprécié le gite surtout quand il ne faisait pas beau. N''oubliez pas vos CDs, la petite chaine a un bon son bien agréable. Je met que 2/5 pour l''environnement car d''une part la vue sur le hangar n''est pas très joyeuse, le propriétaire devrait faire un effort pour cacher la vue avec de la végétation haute par exemple. Et d''autre part, les lieux touristiques, notamment les châteaux cathares sont assez loin du gite (1h30 de voiture pour aller à Peyrepertuse). A voir dans une distance raisonnable (ce que nous avons apprécié): le lac de Chalabre, Camon et la balade sur l''ancienne voie ferrée en direction du tunnel, le centre de Mirepoix, Le château cathare de Puivert que nous n''avons pas visité à cause du guichetier qui n''était pas sympa... Et le musée des dinosaures d''Esperaza, super bien fait pour les enfants. Au niveau des caves, nous sommes allé chez "Castel Negre" en bas d''Alet les bains: Son vin est délicieux. Nous avions acheté de la Blanquette de Limoux - non sucrée - et du syrah, et nous nous sommes régalés. N''emportez pas de fruits!! Près du gite, vous pouvez aller chercher vos pêches à Sonnac sur l''hers chez un producteur: nous avons rarement mangé de pêches aussi bonnes! Un régal! Bref, un excellent séjour même si nous aurions aimé être plus au centre des chateaux Cathare."
