Stylish barn conversion in the beautiful South Hams - quiet location, sleeps 6
Cote Barn is located near the South Hams village of Frogmore - a great location for holidaying as a family or with friends. Bright and airy, Cote Barn is a spacious three bedroom property with a number of original features. The Barn is located on a small development with five other properties, accessible via a short lane.
You enter the property on the ground floor where you'll find a well-equipped kitchen diner, comfortable lounge and WC. Upstairs is the spacious master suite - the bedroom has a king-size bed and the bathroom has a bath and separate shower. On the lower ground floor are two ensuite bedrooms - one with a king-size bed (with shower and separate bath), and the other is a twin (shower).
A cot, high chair and stair gate can be made available by prior arrangement.
Immediately outside the front of Cote Barn you'll find patio areas with table & chairs, a BBQ and a grassed area (this is banked, falling away to our neighbours on one side). There is also a shared large grassed area and a pond on the development. To the rear of the property is a terraced garden and patio areas. Parking is available for two cars.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sally’s place. It was situated in a lovely quiet location with beautiful surroundings, close to beaches and easy to get to all the places we love to visit in Devon. The Cote Barn felt really homely, clean and well equipped. Would definitely recommend
Very nice comfortable and quiet accommodation. Spacious rooms and well equipped. If in the area again we would definately consider this lovely unit. Thanks Sally.
A well maintained, well equipped, secluded, spacious and off the beaten track accommodation. Perfect for a restful week in the country. Surrounded by many places of interest. Car essential.
Lovely accommodation and great location for exploring
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in very spacious accommodation, with plenty of places to explore when the weather was mixed. Easy walk to the local pub in the evenings with other great places to eat in the locality or bbq at the barn . Thank you for a lovely holiday !
Lovely spacious barn conversion in a quiet rural location within easy reach of beaches and eateries.
The only downside was that all bedrooms are accessed by stairs which was a struggle but manageable for my elderly father.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would very much recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Cote Barn. The property was very clean and well equipped and spacious. We really appreciated the three bathrooms with two teenagers! The property is ideally located for visiting the surrounding areas and is set in beautiful countryside. We had a lovely peaceful stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely break
We enjoyed a long weekend at Cote Barn, 4 adults and 2 teenage children. The barn is really spacious yet cosy and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. The kitchen was well equipped and clean and we made use of the selection of puzzles and dvds. The village pub was very welcoming and we had a lovely meal and even played some darts. There is lots to do in the area with some lovely coastal walks nearby.
We stayed as a group of 5 at Cote Barn to attend a wedding in a nearby village. The location is terrific as it's a couple of minutes from the main road that connects Kingsbridge to Dartmouth via Torcross.
Everything in the house was as described and was clean and in great condition. Beds comfy and bathrooms great (all 3 rooms have en-suite with an additional loo next to the utility room).
Instructions before arrival we're perfect and there was plenty of parking available.
As a host, Sally was great. One of our party left a jacket and Sally was quick to advise and to arrange delivery. THANK YOU!
Cannot recommend this place enough, really peaceful and quiet with piglets running in the yard. Seagulls occupy the roof, but they left us well alone.
The Barn really is beautiful. It was so clean and well presented we felt really comfortable and reassured given the situation with Covid-19. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and the kit hen is extremely well equipped. A big selling point of the barn for us was that each room has its own en-suite so everyone felt they had their own space which was lovely. Location is ideal in frogmore with a local pub, shop, garage and a short drive to the beaches or towns. The only issue we had was that glass bottles are not collected and so we followed the advice in the folder to drop at the local farm shop however the lady was slightly annoyed as she explained the bottle facility hadn't been available for over 3 years - so we drove to the bottle bank on a local car park behind the co-op but as I say it wasn't really an issue as such at all, just good for others to know for future.
We really had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend and visit again!
Absolutely lovely all round. Beautiful property and gorgeous home - has everything you need. Very responsive and friendly hosts!! Would definitely stay again!
Cote Barn was just what we were after - a comfortable, well-appointed holiday home in a rural setting, ideally located for exploring the beaches and creeks of Frogmore, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and the surrounding area.
Home was exactly as described and presented in the pictures, and communication with Sally was always straightforward and easy. She even gave us some great recommendations well ahead of our trip so we could book restaurants etc.
Would highly recommend.
A really enjoyable week. Cote was very comfortable and well equipped. An excellent location for visiting the local area. Walking distance to Frogmore village for the Cafe and Globe pub, a short drive to Kingsbridge and to local beaches.
This was a great property to stay in, plentyof room for five adults and the ensuites meant there was never a queue for the bathroom!
It was very well equipped and although it is further from Kingsbridge than we have usually stayed, it was great to come back to at the end of the day.
Myself and a group of friends had a superb stay in Cote Barn. Sally was extremely helpful & the barn was well-equipped. The bedrooms were clean and cosy with en-suits in each. We loved un-winding in the spacious kitchen to gather after our days out (Salcombe, Bantham Beach, Kingsbridge to name a few). Will 100% be back, couldn’t have had a better stay in the sun for the week!
Frogmore is a good location for visiting the area - kingsbridge ,Bantham,Salcombe , Dartmouth etc . We enjoyed great weather and the house was great . A very practical and well maintained property, which we would recommend
Cote Barn was all we hoped for. Location is fantastic allowing you to explore both the east and west coasts of Devon, as well as being close to Dartmoor. The property itself was fantastic and perfect for our family of 5. There is loads of space to not be on top of each other for the week but also the central cooking/ eating area is perfect for getting together and chatting about the day. We would highly recommend this property.
Cote Barn is a wonderful property in a tranquil, rural setting. It provided a great base for exploring the South Hams. Sally, the owner, was prompt in her responses and had taken great care to ensure the property was clean and safe.
A very special time. Our daughter visited from the States and took us, her 90 year old parents
to the beautiful South Hams district and many of the places we have been to in the past. Now for our stay at Cote Barn. What can we say – absolutely perfect. A delight to return, at the end of a busy day to such lovely well equipped, peaceful and restful accommodation. We would love to return,. Who knows? We may just make it!

nice but.
everything looked a lot bigger in the ad. good location very well equipped but it could do with a deep clean especially the windows which were covered with cobwebs.
bed very comfortable and good bedrooms just thought living area a bit small for 5 adults and a child.
This was a perfect place to bring three generations for a week away. Cote barn a beautifully kept property in an idyllic setting.....away from the hustle and bustle of the busier resorts but only a short drive to to everything. I would definitely come here again.
Lovely quiet location but within easy reach of beaches eateries and shops
The property was of a high standard good quality bedding and towels. Great having three en suites worked well for three generations of family. Lovely welcome drinks and cake. Good information pack. Well situated near beaches eateries and shops but quiet location . We had a wonderful holiday would be happy to return.

Why they chose this property
We've holidayed in South Hams for a number of years after close friends moved to the area. We love the tranquil setting of Cote Barn - we love exploring and enjoying the outdoors, and the barn is ideally placed for the beaches and the South West Coast Trail. It is so peaceful and at night, we're able to enjoy amazing dark skies - ideal for stargazing. There are also a number of great places to eat within just a few minutes. Perfect!
