Family friendly home - great for Summer and Fall activities or winter Holidays!!

Our Canyonview home has the feeling of a tree house as it sits above Spearfish Canyon. It is conveniently located at 309 Canyonview Lane, Spearfish, SD, a beautiful community close to all things Black Hills.
The home is a very homey split level with one bedroom on the main floor, two in the basement, one on master bedroom floor, and two on top floor. It has a very open feel as the common area on the top floor looks down into the living room, and the gas fireplace.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed, a soaking bath tub, a separate shower, and beautiful views.
The deck features awesome views of the canyon and surrounding hills.
*** There is a 90 day cancellation policy for Sturgis Rally Bookings - no refund after 90 days before start of stay ***

Rally trip

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for all of us! The porch area was our favorite for morning coffee. It was conveniently located to all of the places we wanted to visit. Several great restaurants that were very close.

The home was beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. The view from the living room and deck was spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the deck around the propane fire pit.

Terrific House for Family Stay

The house has excellent common areas for gathering and chatting and yet provides terrific separation with bedrooms and bathrooms. House has all the little things you might have forgotten at home. I was a bit uncomfortable with the amount of personal items in the home. It seemed as if we were staying at a friends house: personal photos, knick knacks, clothes etc. It didn't hamper our stay and the home fit our needs perfectly!

TN Group Motorcycle Trip

We had a group of seven that rode from TN to SD for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The house was much better than the pictures indicate and we very much enjoyed the property. It was very close to town which made going out to eat or stopping by to pick things up very convenient. It was also very close to Spearfish Canyon which we rode about four times to get to different locations. We tried to leave the property as good as we found it, as there were no instructions to what to do other than leave the keys in the mailbox. If you need six bedrooms, this is a great place!

Family Wedding

The key was waiting when we arrived. This home was a great place for our family to gather when we were in town for a family wedding. There was space for everyone to spread out as well as gather all together. The views were gorgeous, the stories flowed, the laughter and love was felt throughout the house. spearfish house... beautiful!

Where do I start... the house is beautiful! We stayed here when the Black Hills Corvette Rally was going on in Spearfish. We were only minutes from the Holiday Inn (vette hub)! House was clean, spacious and comfortable for the 10 of us that stayed. The pictures didn't do justice... scenery was great. Everything was great. We couldn't ask for more. We will certainly stay here again!

Outstanding View and Host

The Home is Beautiful and has a SPECTACULAR view of the Canyon and Park. My Siblings and I celebrate Christmas for the last 30 years (after our parents died) on Labor Day Weekend. It rotates and moves across the State, this year it was Spearfish.I needed 6 bedrooms and multi bathrooms--this place nailed it. Not to mention the side deck over looking the Hills. Close to Deadwood and 45 minutes to Rapid City and other attractions.

We come to Spearfish for the Corvette Rally and decided to try something different. Our group of 10 was hesitant to leave the hotel which is the hub of the rally but everyone was glad we did. Fantastic house fit all of our needs and then some. Cindy is very easy to work with and replies quickly of you have questions. The house was spotless and we have it reserved again for this year. Outstanding value with a fantastic view.

Our children drew us to the Black Hills. Our son graduated from Black Hills State University and our daughter married a local fellow and both settled in the beautiful Black Hills with their families. We came to love the area too and here we are! David is semi retired and doing project management and construction projects, and I recently retired from an Architectural and Engineering firm. Our hobbies mostly center around our 3 children and 8 grandchildren, 5 of whom live in Spearfish, and 3 who live in Casper, WY. When we aren't attending functions and activities involving our family, we can often be found sitting on our deck in the warm months and the sunroom in the cold months, enjoying a glass of wine.

Why they chose this property

This home is very inviting and homey. It offers every comfort with a beautiful view and is close to the many sites and sounds of the Black Hills, from site seeing to skiing to learning the fascinating history of the area.

What makes this property unique

The best thing about our home has to be the view. It has all the conveniences of being right in town and the views to boot!
