Loved the house and great location

Traveled with 4 adults and 2 medium size dogs. House was perfect with the large fenced in backyard. House was clean, well stocked, very comfortable beds and easy 20 minute drive to Nashville. (Less than a mile to the historic area of Franklin) Would definitely recommend staying at the Brick House.

All descriptions are accurate. Owner has taken the extra care to make sure all are comfortable in every way. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable. Plan to return before even looking for other properties! This is the best!

Terrific experience!

The Brick House was everything we expected and more! It was extremely clean, well appointed with incredible art and photography. Better still, the artwork was by the homeowner. It was close to all the attractions of Franklin and all the extra touches – a welcoming gift basket, lush towels, coffees, etc. – made the experience even better. It was just a few miles from Nashville to getting to all the attractions there was convenient. We'll be back!

Words cannot describe this home.

For the first time, (and this is not our first rodeo with VRBO), I have to say that the pictures of this home do not do it justice. Everything about our stay was perfect. Jimmy, the owner, provided not only a beautifully appointed home but with snacks, including a bottle of wine, and bottled water as well. Where most rentals have basics, this home had everything. The kitchen was incredible. If we needed something, we just opened drawers until we found it. The baths had a nice collection of shampoos along with hair dryers and even hot rollers. The home had the lights on when we arrived, so that there was no "is anyone there" sort of feel. The backyard is spacious and has multiple places to "chill" and enjoy the area. I can only say that if your travels take you to ANYWHERE in the Nashville area, this home in Franklin makes the 20-30 min drive into Nashville well worth it. Our only regret is that our son's graduation events at Vanderbilt kept us from enjoying this home even more.

Perfection.

This is EXACTLY where you want to stay if you don't want to live in the middle of honky tonk way but want to visit it now and then during your stay. The quaint small town of Franklin is only a short drive from downtown Nashville and is bustling with local shops, artisans and eateries as well as live music opportunities around every corner. And it's just plain beautiful! This home is just blocks away from all the fun of downtown Franklin and it's wonderful! Full of character but modernized for comfort and filled with beautiful touches. We stayed a week and never thought "I wish this house had...."--cause it has literally everything. All we needed was clothes! We were a party of two couples and the layout was perfect. We were able to enjoy time together AND have privacy as well. If you've looked at the maps and been concerned about the traffic, don't be. The house is set back a bit and has plaster walls which do an admirable job of sound proofing. The circle drive makes pulling in and out very easy. We've stayed in many VRBO houses across the US--this is our favorite.

Absolutely perfect home for our visit to Franklin!!

Jerry's home is wonderful. It was the perfect place for myself, my husband, and our two medium-sized doggies (though take note this house easily accommodates larger parties--we did not even use the entire house while there!) We arrived to find the home and patio decorated for Christmas, with a huge basket of goodies (including: all kinds of snacks...a nice bottle of Cabernet, chocolates, chips, cookies, a new bag of organic corn chips, AND two well-made coffee mugs as a gift!) In the fridge was fresh guacamole, two kinds of salsa from Whole Foods, a Brita water filter already filled with cold water, and several bottled waters. This was so unexpected and so cool--we were exhausted after driving about 14 hours from Houston and I confess I immediately ate all of the salsa. The kitchen was well-stocked with tons of coffee pods and condiments for the Keurig, all kinds of spices, every pot/pan/utensil (a very nice, sharpened knife collection as well) you would need to cook meals. My husband made fresh dried beans in the crock pot for Christmas :) Bathrooms had everything one would need and more (toiletries, soap, lots of luxury towels, even a toothbrush kit). We used only the master bedroom and the huge bed was very comfortable (one of our most important requirements when traveling). Having a nice washer and dryer set with supplies to wash also makes travel so much easier in every respect. We spent a lot of time cooking, eating and lounging on the comfy sofas in the living room watching cable TV. Our doggies loved watching the squirrels and playing in the giant yard. There is a big park only a few minutes away down the street as well. Multiple grocery stores very close by and downtown Franklin with so many fun local shops is a few moments' walk down the street. We received a warm welcome in every respect and Jimmy immediately let us know he was available if we needed anything at all. The house truly feels like a "home" and not just a rental. Every detail was considered--and all of these details cost the owner money, so the fact that he does this means a lot. His housekeeper is also amazing and made herself available to us during our stay. We went to my brother's house in Spring Hill for Christmas day and when we returned, there was a gift bag with dog toys on the porch for our pups :) We had a restful holiday thanks to Jimmy and his hospitality. We loved this house and will definitely return to stay here. Thank you, Jimmy!!

Wonderful Brick House

We stayed at Brick House for almost a week during a cross country road trip. It was perfect for the three of us, clean, comfortable and just as pictured. Jimmy thought of everything for us, checked on us and responded quickly to our questions. The dogs loved playing in the yard too!

WOW!

The Brick House was an excellent place to stay! Enough hot water for eight guests and an efficient air conditioner! The house is everything that is advertised and we were VERY happy with it.

Home and Hospitality

We needed temporary housing while waiting for a new house to be completed. The Brick House was so much more! We were pleasantly surprised to find how well-appointed it is; everything we needed to feel at home was available to us. Beds are very comfortable and the location was great. But the very best part was our host, Jimmy. He checked in on us to make sure we were okay, and we enjoyed getting to know him. We highly recommend The Brick House if you’re looking for a lovely place to spend some time and a new friend as your host. Thanks again, Jimmy!

Perfect for us

Little Brick House was perfect for our visit to Franklin/Nashville. Location was close enough to everything we wanted. Franklin’s town square is great place to walk around for shopping and restaurants. We will return to the Little Brick House.

Best place to stay in Tennessee

The Brickhouse in Franklin, Tennessee is one of the best properties to stay at in Franklin. The property owner, Jimmy, couldn't have been any nicer to us. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like 5 star guests. The property was very clean and had all the amenities of home. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the rest of the home was so relaxing. There is a huge fenced in yard, with a deck, grill, and plenty of seating for relaxing at night. I would recommend staying here for two days or two months, it's that great. The owner treated us like family, and he was available when we needed him, giving us tips on where to dine, and what to see and do. There is also park a short walk up the street, and not to mention, the historic town of Franklin is a must-see for anyone in the state. Nashville is only a short drive away, as are many historic and fun attractions for both young and old. Don't hesitate to rent this property, it is one in a million. I have rented from Home Away in the past, and nothing comes close to this property and owner. Both were splendid !

Awesome stay! Again!

Once again I will share that this is a fantastic home with even a more wonderful host. We’ve stayed at more than our share of VRBO and competitor units and for the most part have been let down when it comes to simple comfort and cleanliness. Jimmy’s place (and Jimmy) are top notch and you should not miss the opportunity to book it if you have the chance. Walking distance to Franklin downtown, huge fenced in backyard, tons of room in the house, great kitchen and amenities!

Fabulous Host & Location to The Factory & Downtown Franklin

Our family can’t wait to return to Jimmy’s Brick House where we truly felt it was ‘home away from home’. We found Brick House to be roomy with comfortable beds, a jetted tub, washer & dryer, large refrigerator & updated heating & air conditioning. Two bathrooms with two showers were just what we needed for our family. We’ll be booking here again soon for our event for next year & absolutely love it’s location so close (a 3 minutue drive) to The Factory event center & shops & just a short drive to Downtown Franklin.

Lovely Brick House in Franklin

So happy to have chosen to stay at the Brick House. Jimmy made our stay there amazing and we felt cared for! The house was in the perfect spot and suited our needs to a tee. The adorable 3 bedroom was perfect for the 3 of us girls especially because we each had our own room! Franklin was a cute town away from the hustle & bustle of Nashville. We also drove out to Leiper’s Fork which was worth the time, for sure. If I return to Nashville (which I hope to do since we couldn’t do everything in 4 days) I will not hesitate to book this house again! Thanks again, Jimmy!
