"Captain's Quarters" is a newly renovated (2017)three bedroom, two bath Conch style heated pool home that sleeps eight, and it is located at mile marker 52 with direct ocean access. This charming home with beautiful tongue and groove wood ceilings is located just four lots from the Atlantic Ocean so you can fish and dive the Atlantic in just minutes, and it is also convenient to the Vaca Cut so you can be in the Gulf in just minutes as well. Because this home is so close to the ocean, you will also enjoy some nice open water views and gentle ocean breezes. We also just installed a beautiful new heated pool that will keep you cool in the summer and will also be heated in the winter so it can be enjoyed year round. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, has plenty of parking, and it is convenient to restaurants, shopping, bait and tackle shops, dive shops, Marathon airport, Sombrero Beach, and it is walking distance to Oceanfront Park which has a 1/2 mile jogging, and fitness trail, dog park, fishing docks, and nice tiki huts right on the ocean. With over sixty feet of canal frontage there is plenty of dockage for a large boat, and the step down dock is a nice feature so the whole family can easily access your boat. Amenities include updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, updated bathrooms with oversized master shower, step down dock, fish cleaning station, bait freezer, washer dryer, tv in living room and each bedroom, and wifi. This home is tastefully decorated, and it includes all the linens, towels, and kitchen utensils to make your stay comfortable. Captain's Quarters gives you the feel of an old style Keys cottage with an updated flair, and is an ideal place to spend your Beautiful Keys vacation.we are dog friendly.

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful stay! House was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in and had plenty of room for our family of 4. Loved hanging out in the pool and fishing in the canal. We will definitely be back!

Sweet spot. The location, home, and host team were great. We had everything we needed for a week on the water. The houseman even stopped by on an exceptionally windy day we couldn’t make it on the water to check if we wanted the temp on the pool warmer. Unlike a lot of short term rentals these days, the check out was easy. No long list of to-do’s before leaving- just common sense tasks, pack and go. It helped us make the most of our time.

Perfect spot!

Just as advertised - greatly little spot on the water! Kitchen was stocked well enough to prepare meals and serve entire family! We liked the additional bait freezer that was located on the property. Overall, a wonderful spot that we would recommend!

Great Time In the Keys

The location was great. Nice to have a park across the street to walk the dog. Easy to get out into the Atlantic by boat. Plenty of linens. Steps into living room are a bit tricky for elderly. We enjoyed our stay.

What a cozy home! In a good way. It felt bigger than I had expected which was great since we were 4 adults and doggies. We really enjoyed the pool and having the boat right there to jump on whenever we wanted. There was a learning curve with turning the boat in the canal and idling out to deeper water. But all was well after we figured that out. The visiting neighbors were very nice also. The guys would chat over the fence as they gutted fish, and talked about their finds for the day :)

Perfect house and location

We had an amazing time and really appreciated all the amenities. We loved having our own pool, everything was clean, beds were comfortable, well appointed kitchen, plenty of room for parking…can’t say enough. I especially liked having the park next to us for jogging and boating had easy ocean access. We also enjoyed the manatee visit.

Amazing Stay

Property had a great location, 3:2 with a pool, everything you could need in the kitchen, minus a cutting board. There were sugar ants in the kitchen and insects throughout the home. You do need to keep shoes on, small rocks all around the pool and wooden steps w splinters leading into the sliding glass doors. This house was location and pool for us, if you are looking for elegance or resort style, this home wouldn’t be for you.
