Yellowstone Rustic Luxury Condo Sleeps 11 in an Award Winning Resort

Enjoy a great getaway with all the benefits of an award-winning resort. Rocking J Vacation Condo has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and has accommodations for 11 people. It has luxury touches including granite counters in the full kitchen, 2 gas fireplaces, and a full-sized washer and dryer. Rocking J is nestled in the woods with a rustic décor including solid wood mantels, wildlife photography and antler chandeliers. There are four queen size beds (one is a fold out couch) and a full-size bunk bed with an additional trundle bed.

The condo is kid friendly with a small play table, booster chairs, a sled and an assortment of games. There is a large outdoor playground right across the road. Big kids also will be happy with the large screen TV in the living room with a DVD and Blu-ray player. There are TVs in the bedrooms, WIFI, cable TV and a personal device docking station. The new clubhouse is right next door. It is where you will check in, but also can enjoy the swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna or game room. (Note: clubhouse entertainment activity area is closed for cleaning typically from mid-April to mid-May though it is open and staffed for check-in-check-out and support). You can relax on one of the two porches with views of Sawtelle Peak. Island Park is world renowned for fly fishing, scenic waterways and is adjacent to the Continental Divide, Harriman State Park and Yellowstone National Park. Over 300 miles of groomed snowmobiling or cross-country ski trails are right outside your door.

When we arrived the water heater was leaking and the element was blown. I messaged Linda and she responded instantly and had someone there within 20 minutes and the water heater replaced that night!! We have stayed at this location before and have had instant responses with any questions we’ve had. We most definitely will be booking this place again!

We loved everything about this property! The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of extras, including a crock pot, blender and pressure cooker. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets too. The pool and hot tub were amazing- the pool was warm which was so refreshing to be able to truly enjoy the pool in the winter.

This condo unit was nicer and larger than I was expecting, and had plenty of room for six adults. The furniture and beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and the pool and hot tub in the clubhouse was so amazing after a long day of hiking in Yellowstone. It was an easy half-hour drive to the West entrance of the park i would definitely stay here again.

Yellowstone Trip

Great location to Yellowstone. Stayed 5 nights and went into Yellowstone everyday from here. Clean and had everything we needed for our extended family of 10, convenient and able to make meals so didn't have to eat out all the time. Very helpful and friendly people working the resort club house.

Stayed here on a family trip with 3 couples and it was the perfect location! Only 30 minutes to the west park entrance and a handful of restaurant options within 15 minute drive. We really enjoyed being on the golf course and snuck in a tound between other activities. Having one bedroom on the ground floor was perfect for my senior parents and plenty of separation between the upstairs bedrooms was also appreciated. No complaints!

Spacious & clean condo in a nice community- 20-25 minutes to YNP. Nice clubhouse just across from unit with pool, hot tub and more. Really appreciated the 3 full bathrooms.

Great stay!

Our family loved this condo! The only downside was that we only stayed 2 nights, wish we had booked it for longer. The beds and furniture were nice and comfortable and the area is quiet. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Very short walk to the indoor pool and hot tub, which were so nice to have after a day out sightseeing. It’s also walking distance to a grocery store and a short drive to restaurants. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful experience and my teens kept saying how much they loved everything! Only downside (nothing to do with the place) is that the only market in Island Park (right around the corner!!) closes at 9pm- as well as most everything else from here to West Yellowstone. Just know to be prepared:) This was by far one of the best rentals we have ever been to (and we have been to alot- and we are very critical!!). So many details thought of and this resort is just so well kept. Can't remember the name of the guy at the front desk at the clubhouse, but he was very welcoming:) Would tell my mother to stay here!!

It was great for our needs. Very spacious for only 4 of us. We could have comfortably had an additional 4-6 people. We liked the additional accommodations of hot tub and game room, but these were only open 9am - 9pm, so often when we were back from yellowstone it was already closed. Linda and her sister were able to accomodate our late night arrival, even with a few snags, they were very helpful.

This is family owned. (Two daughters, our husbands and our Dad.) We purchased the condo so that our father who visited the resort for 5 weeks every summer, could know which unit he would be staying in for the whole time. We love the area. We are renting this so that others can enjoy the area that we love so much. This is not an investment property, we rent merely to cover our expenses.

Why they chose this property

It is part of a timeshare resort, so it has all of the support that you would have in a timeshare resort. It has the most bedrooms available in the resort. A new clubhouse opened in 2019 with a swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna and a game room. The clubhouse is available for your use, and is next door.
