This five bedroom, five and a half bath home on Forestay Court has been completely renovated and has it all. This beautiful residence, just steps away from the beach access path, is the perfect family vacation home.

The fully equipped, gourmet kitchen showcases custom cabinetry, granite countertops, top of the line appliances and a separate icemaker. Everything in this exquisite home has been updated to include hardwood floors, beautifully tiled bathrooms, open light-filled spaces and vaulted ceilings.

The main floor of the home welcomes you with a gas fireplace and large, open living room perfect for family gathering. Adjacent you will find the expansive kitchen and pantry, dining room and keeping area that open, through four sets of French doors, onto the pool deck. The kitchen has plenty of seating for eight at the large farm table and four at the center island.

The expansive pool deck includes a built-in grill space with both a gas grill and a Big Green Egg. Teak lounge chairs and dining furniture provide a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the sun. The private salt water pool and spa are surrounded by trees and sunshine! During the colder months the pool and/or spa can be heated for a fee. If this of interest to you, please let us know prior to check-in. The enclosed outdoor shower is perfect for easy clean up after a fun day in the sand. A retractable cover is available for the pool if you have little ones and would prefer the ability to open and close it at your discretion.

This home offers two king master suites with large closets, two sink areas, and walk in showers with body sprays and rain heads. One master has a soaking tub and separate water closet. Two additional king bedrooms with private bathrooms are located just down the hall. The Bunk Room offers full and twin beds. A pack and play is also available if needed.

The most cherished space in the home is the large screened porch. You can dine al fresco while enjoying the sound of waves crashing and the ocean breeze. The porch swing bed is the perfect place to read a book, take a nap or enjoy a fall football game on the 55” HDTV.

A state of the art audio/visual system will enable you to play your own music, watch television, and enjoy wireless internet throughout the home. Each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen cable HDTV while Blu-Ray players are provided in the living room and the Bunk Room. All equipment is extremely user friendly.

The lower level has garage parking for two cars, ample storage, an additional refrigerator/freezer, a commercial ice maker, and a ping pong table. There is an elevator available for handicap accessibility. RBL19-006890

Family beach vacation

The house was just as described. The kitchen was well equipped and house had chairs and beach and pool items that were a great addition. The property manager Rebekah was great to work within regard to questions we had operating the pool and hot tub.

Absolutely Fantastic!

My family and I just completed a five-day vacation at this property and I can't say enough good things about our stay. Communications with the property owner were exceptional in the weeks preceding our visit, throughout our visit, and even as we prepared to leave (more on that later). The home itself is beautiful, spacious, chock full with amenities, and completely as advertised. All of the bedrooms are very spacious and have great bathrooms, and the kitchen, eating and two living areas were just perfect for seven adults and one two year-old. Also, it was just a three minute walk around the corner and over the Boardwalk to a beautiful beach, and the homeowner provides lots of amenities that can be used at that beach or at the property’s pool. Regarding that communications as we were preparing to leave, we found ourselves awakened our last night there by two separate tornado warnings likely spawned by the outer edge of Hurricane Helene. While the property suffered no damage except for minor debris, the homeowner checked in on us early that morning. She wanted to make sure we were safe and told us to take whatever time we needed before leaving, which was a terrific gesture on her part after a pretty sleepless night. In short, we were so happy with our stay that we’ve already decided to make this an annual family trip, and to reserve this same property

Wonderful stay!

House was great! I have stayed in many different properties in Kiawah, many were homes that were only a few years old. This house had everything! We cook a lot of meals there and it had everything you could possibly need, that’s not the case with most rentals. The property manager responded quickly with a minor issue. It was a 3 minute walk to the beach. The pool and screened in porch were very nice. The house was very comfortable. No complaints!

Hurricane

The house is amazing. Great location. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room for 12 of us. Pool was wonderful. We could have done without the hurricane Debby and tornado and high winds and dangerous surf!! But we made the best of it and still enjoyed our trip

Wonderful Vacation

We had an absolutely beautiful vacation at this home. It was well equipped and incredibly comfortable with plenty of room, spacious living space and a beautiful inground swimming pool. Also, it was a very short walk to the beach. The owner was great to work with and management company was very attentive. On one of the days, the air conditioner that cooled part of the house had stopped working. They had someone out to repair it in less than half an hour We will definitely be back again!

Cleanliness of house was poor

This was our third time at this house and after this stay we will definitely not be returning. We had minor issues the first two years but this year was way worse. The house was not clean at all. There are multiple stains on the carpets, bedspreads and mold on the shower curtains. I know it is normal to have some insects around and in the house during this time of year but we had was unacceptable amount. There were spider webs all inside the house. Within the first two days we killed approximately 12 massive spiders. We found spiders coming out of the beams in the ceiling of the family room and multiple spider eggs around the ceiling. We killed multiple other bugs throughout the house during the week. The dryer never worked properly. We called the property manager and they came and said they fixed the issue but it still didn’t work for the remainder of the week. The property manager and owner of the home do not return emails regarding your concerns with the house. I would not recommend paying such a high cost for a weekly house rental with a house in this condition.

This home was amazing! The thoughtfulness of the furnishings a gift. Fully equipped from kitchen, to bedrooms, to the beach supplies! The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee! The pool was wonderful…with shade for the ones who wanted shade and sun for others!

The perfect “home away from home” …

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home on Kiawah Island in the fall. It was the perfect “home away from home” for our 3 families to share while we were there to attend a wedding. So many activities to enjoy during our weekend together … golf, pickleball, walks on the beach and exploratory bike rides. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great property

We have a lovely stay with 3 families including young children. The home was in excellent condition and well appointed with everything needed for a beach stay. Location was also a big plus. Had some trouble with the pool heater but the property manager was timely and helpful in resolving the issue. Would book again!

Friends vacation

We loved the property and the ease of getting to the beach. There were 10 of us and we never felt crowded or that we didn’t have our own space. The porch was a lovely morning spot for coffee and evening space to listen to the sound of the ocean and frogs. Several deer came by every day. It was just peaceful. Our kids enjoyed their bunk room, pool and ice machine! We would definitely stay at this property again.

Fantastic house in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful house! Proximity to beach and anything else you’d like to do on Kiawah is perfect. The layout was great for our multi-generational family group – large, well furnished living spaces, an amazing kitchen, and quiet bedrooms which allowed everyone to sleep in if desired. Particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen given our cooking-centric family – it even came with a fully stocked spice cabinet and a pot large enough for our low country boil. The pool area was great and the screen porch perfect for watching TV, dining, or taking a nap. Can’t say enough good things about this house and dealing with owners was a pleasure. Highly recommended!

Three’s a charm but way too long.

It had been three years since our last family vacation. But the good news is our grandchildren are old enough now to really enjoy the beautiful swimming pool. It was unseasonably chilly so we requested to have the pool heated. They swam every morning, afternoon and evening! The house was the perfect size for our family and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped thankfully because we cooked all meals except one during the week. The location is amazing…5 minute walk and you are on the beach! We will visit again but hoping it won’t be three more years!

very spacious, comfortable home

The house was very clean and mostly well-appointed. Our biggest disappointment was the pool/spa. We found it to be a mess and not working - the property manager had a total of 4 visits arranged and it was never properly functioning until 7pm on Saturday evening - we left Sunday morning. It stated there were 6 beach chairs - they are in very poor, rusty condition - would recommend visitors to rent them.

Awesome house!

Great location, house was very well appointed (kitchen, linens, beach gear, etc). Only issue was the master shower had no hot water (valve on temperature adjustment mechanism). This can certainly happen, and maintenance took care of it on try #2, but the owner knew of this problem and it’s history. Replace the hardware so others don’t have to hassle with this issue.

Wonderful family trip

We loved staying in this home in August 2021 for our family vacation to Kiawah. The house was clean with lots of space for the family to spread out in. Has a great pool and outdoor lounging and eating areas, an awesome walk-in master closet for those of us who don’t travel light :), and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen which we really appreciated. It is a few minutes walk to the beach, and super close to bike trail access. A neighbor was building a new home next door while we stayed there but we only heard moderate builder noise one morning. Overall it was very quiet and peaceful!

NEEDS WORK- NOT recently renovated

While the location was fantastic and the home clearly has potential, it fell well short of our expectations. 1. Propane Out and Smelly: On the last day of our stay, the propane tank apparently ran out of propane rendering the hot water heater, dishwasher and stove useless. This impacted our ability to take warm showers, use the stove for cooking, etc. Additionally, as we learned, when a propane tank runs low, the oil at the bottom of the tank gives out a distinctive unpleasant odor. The odor filled the house on our last full-day and the day we left. We became aware of the issue when an alarm went off on the hot water heater at 10pm. Maintenance dispatched Roto-Rooter to the house around 11:00 pm. Roto-Rooter said the alarm was due to no propane, turned off the gas line to the heater & left. 2. Access to Screened Porch unavailable due to broken handle. Doors to outside left open by maintenance workers. 3. Toilet in Master Bath Not Properly Working - 24 hrs to fix it. 4. Pool area was filty - we cleaned it. Accès to beach was great but beware of property condition.

Construction noise all around

Property manager is wonderful and tried their best but the list of issues with this house is extensive. Besides the issues below the construction noise surrounding the house is unbearable. We had to leave the property. There is construction on 3 houses surrounding this house. The owner should have told me prior to check in. Here is the rest of the list. Internet spotty - cleanliness poor Pool not cleaned -ac leaked on kitchen floor and kitchen ac not working. - both master showers didn't work for 2 dates - had to call to get elevator to work. These are all things that should have been checked before check in. I know things go wrong with houses but the construction noises should have been disclosed.
