WATERFRONT Home - Dolphins, Sunsets, Fishing, Kayaks, Canoe, Wildlife
One of the newest built homes on Live Oak Island. This modern and spacious 2007 1,930 sq ft 3 Bedroom plus bedroom loft home is on the water and has themed coastal decorations throughout, perfectly situated near the neighborhood boat launch and at the edge of St. Marks Wildlife Refuge. Superb views of bay, Gulf of Mexico and canals. Set on pilings with a large deck mezzanine and the main living area and deck on the third level. There is an 3 stop indoor elevator available by request for those needing assistance.
Our favorite parts of the day consists of viewing the various wildlife, listening to the mullet jump, watching the dolphins enter the bay to feed, enjoying the sunset from any of the deck levels or paddling the canoe/kayak out into the bay and canoe trails. You are minutes away from Shellpoint Beach, Golf, and the St. Marks Lighthouse.
The home has Hughesnet Sattelite WiFi for checking mail, central heat and air, washer/dryer, gourmet kitchen completely stocked with everything you need but your food (including upscale appliances-gas stove and a convection oven). There are ceiling fans and televisions in all bedrooms (5 HD LED flat screens in total). Master suite opens out onto the upper deck. The master bath includes the laundry, a jacuzzi tub, bidet, and spacious walk-in closet.
The 4th level loft allows for more sleeping possibilities with a queen and twin bed and living area with a large 55 inch HDTV flat screen smart television, dvd and gaming systems (Wii and XBox 360).
Main living area includes gas-powered fireplace, dining area, and large 55 inch flat screen smart television with Blu-ray/dvd player and surround sound system. Dish Network Satellite (America's Top 200) is provided in both the den and loft common areas. The three bedrooms have TV Reception by HDTV over-air antenna with 13 local channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW, PBS, Bounce, Create, AccuWeather, Get TV, FL Channel, and ME TV). A library of books, magazines, cds, dvds, board games are provided for your use.
But most of your time will probably be spent enjoying the natural "old Florida" water views from the deck, the quiet sounds of nature and family adventures walking down the quiet palm and oak hommocked streets exploring the area.
There is an outdoor propane grill, patio tables, kayaks/canoe, fishing poles, a set of Callaway Big Bertha graphite irons as well as a basketball goal and Head tennis rackets for your use.

The house was so charming! Kayaks, fishing poles, board games, movies, books, game consoles, and so much more. My kids had a great time. I loved looking at all the travel souvenirs. It felt homey. Very memorable experience. Thank you!
We had a great time and enjoyed the property. The views of wildlife from the deck were appreciated by all ages. The elevator was perfect for the family member who needed it. Overall we enjoyes our stay.
The property was very family friendly, the location was stunning. The upstairs deck is in pretty bad shape, large holes and soft wood. We had to place furniture over the holes and soft spots, to dangerous for little ones.
Wonderful - beautiful location on the water, no crowds, surrounded by nature. House was perfect home base for exploring the area by day and chilling with movies and Phase 10 games in the evening. Great communication from the owners.
Home is amazing. Clean. Everything you could possibly want. Fished from the kayaks and behind the home. A birders paradise. The elevator was a life saver for taking items up to the house. Great communication with the owners. Very helpful.
Very nice location, you can sit on the deck every morning and listen to the birds and watch the tide go in and out. Was nice to have the elevator to carry luggae up to 3rd floor. Lots of things to see in area if you like nature.
Based on all the info listed for this property, there were no surprises or disappointments as this was our first time renting a property like this.
The location was perfect and offered peace and quiet as well as having plenty of activities available.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to do it again.
Our family had the best time on our vacation! We biked, went kayaking, played games, and relaxed on the deck. My son caught fish and crab. I would highly recommend staying in this home. We will definitely be planning another visit soon!
Beautiful location! Quiet and peaceful. Great sunsets and wonderful seafood. Host was a true pleasure to work with, easy to contact and very responsive. We will be back.
Large, clean, and well stocked house. The views from the top deck were everything. Beautiful sunsets and you may get to see dolphins! PLUS star watching, you will see so many stars. We loved the location, very close to great places to hike including St Marks NWR. Would highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our too short stay at your home. The house was very well provided with everything we needed. My wife was especially appreciative of the elevator! I enjoyed the kayaks, and caught some nice sea trout and redfish. Peaceful and quiet, saw an alligator, and enjoyed watching the dolphins play and feed from the balcony. Perfect for two mostly retired couples to get together for a reunion.
We stayed in this house for a week. The house is very nice, well maintained, in a secluded and quiet location, and right on the water. We all enjoyed the kayaks and canoes (provided), the wonderful sunsets on the deck, and the dolphins swimming in the bay. The host communication was excellent. Highly recommended!

Thank you - looking forward to having you return to our home
My family and I were looking for a non-tourist out of the way quiet place to stay on the ocean. This had absolutely everything we were looking for the bedrooms were very comfortable, the living room was cozy for a full family with grandkids and dogs to hang out, but the best part was the property and location itself. It is tucked away in a bay that also overlooks the ocean. We went kayaking and we were able to see stingray, blue crabs, horseshoe, crabs, and even dolphins if you were looking for a peaceful place to enjoy the scenery and spend some quality time in a beautiful environment. This is the place. We had communication with the property owners who suggested the perfect places for us to take our grandkids. I would recommend this to anyone.
This home had everything we could have needed. Even plenty of extra linens. We greatly enjoyed kayaking all over the area as it’s nice and calm and wonderful wildlife to observe. The bald eagle catching and struggling to carry dinner to land, an osprey carrying its small dinner, a skate going under the kayak, and more. Great family time playing cornhole, basketball and board games out on the deck.
We look forward to repeating a stay here again next year.
This is a great place to get away from the crowded areas of Florida. The scenery is beautiful. You can fish, kayak, canoe, take leisurely strolls around the area, and ride your bike without having to load everything up in the car. The dolphins provide quite a show in the late evenings as well. It was a very quiet area as well which was surprising because there are other houses close by. Would definitely go again. It would be amazing to spend a winter here.
Our family spent the weekend visiting family that lives in the area. This house and location made for a great, memorable vacation. The views over the bay are spectacular, mornings spent watching the dolphins put on a show. The house was even more spacious that what the pictures portrayed. Kayaks, bikes, fishing poles made for some great outdoor activities. The kitchen (and cookware) was well appointed for our family of 8. We will definitely book this again on our next visit to Crawfordville.
This home is beautiful and the property is described spot on. My family enjoyed every minute of our stay. There is lots to see and do in the area. Shell Beach was a plus as was the Aquarium touch tanks in Panacea for the kids. The kayaks on the property were a big hit. There’s so much room to spread out when you may need a little quiet time. The view is awesome. The games inside and out kept us all engaged. The kitchen is well stocked for any type of cooking. The hosts were easy to communicate with. My family has stayed at a lot of homes throughout our vacations. This one rates at the top of our list.
Phil and Rebekah's home is beautiful and the location is incredible. It's right on the water and you can see fish swim by from the deck! Birdwatching was great!
The home is very comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. You can tell that it's a well-loved family home that is beautifully decorated. Lots of places to sit outside, also. It was nice to have access to the host's kayaks so we could enjoy being on the water.
Lots of great hiking trails in the area. The road to the house is quiet and is also a great place to walk and enjoy the beautiful area.
It was easy and quick to communicate with the hosts through VRBO or text. They were gracious and welcoming.
We feel lucky to have found this place and hope to return again next year!
One too many cockroaches. We could deal with the geckos. Not the cockroaches. I would also recommend you oil your reels. Couldn’t wind them. Throw a couple bottles of bug spray in drawers or make sure renters know to pick some up. . Between the mosquitoes and no seeums it was tough and too far to just run to the store.
Beautiful sunsets. Great setting.

Dear Patti,
Thank you for staying at our home. We take great pride in our home and have not had that complaint since we have been renting. We have a monthly service that provides pest control and we would have contacted them to spray again if there was a problem.
We reached out to you several times by text and email during your stay to see if you had any questions without response.
