Perfect Cancun Holiday
At the last minute, I rented this property for Christmas week 2019 . We normally do not travel for the holidays but, as a family, we desperately needed a getaway after a difficult year. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more.
Communicating with Terri, the owner, was easy and with very short notice she set us up so our registration and check-in went seamlessly. The 2BR/2BA unit was perfect for myself, my husband and our two (almost adult) children. It is spacious, comfortable and immaculate (daily maid service included). The kitchenette is well equipped and my son even got to cook up some of the fish he caught on his fishing charter. The huge balcony overlooks the pool and SPECTACULAR beach/ocean. I cannot rave more about the gorgeous white sand and crystal clear ocean; full-service food & drink on the beach made it even more heavenly. And that's what we were there for -- and Mother Nature rewarded us with gorgeous weather!
The resort and its staff exceeded our expectations. The central location within the hotel zone cannot be beat. We like to walk and explore; within an easy 20-30 minute stroll, we had access to very high-end restaurants, shopping, even a full-service grocery store. To access downtown Cancun, we used taxis and buses.
We opted not to buy the all-inclusive food/drink package offered by the resort, as we like to fully experience local flavor. For us, that was the right move.
We will never forget our Christmas in Cancun. Our accommodations could not be beat. Thank you, Terri, for allowing us to rent from you. We'd do it again in a heartbeat!
