Ideal location, surrounded by nature, in the small listed village of Saint Léonard, direct and private access to the shore, breathtaking view of the Mont, fully renovated house. Huge fireplace in the living room ideal for beautiful winter evenings. For the summer, Very large enclosed garden of over 1000 m2. The beaches are 3 km away (village of Genêts, Bec d'Andaine beach) or a little further on Jullouville and Carole. Crossings on foot or on horseback (with a guide) can be done from the house.

Wonderful country setting in Normandy

The country house and surrounding towns were beautiful, the proximity to water and marsh and fields was refreshing and revitalizing. We came to see Mont Saint-Michel and to celebrate the Liberation with those in the towns near the landing beaches up North. The house was cozy and had all the essentials.

Family memories made

You can tell that this home has been a place where the host’s family has made wonderful memories over many years. I feel so lucky to have been able to continue the tradition with my own family. This is NOT a bland home, with plain decor that you might find in any hotel chain. This home drips with personality, of family history, and reflects the artistry and culture of the local Normandy landscapes. I felt so comfortable here, welcomed. The home has everything you could need for cooking and cleaning. The village of St. Léonard is quaint and rural. The nearest grocery store is about 15 minutes away by car. Same with restaurants, gas stations, and bars. But there’s miles of hiking and biking areas along the rural roads and coastline of Mont Saint Michel bay. It’s perfect for birdwatchers, nature-lovers, and sunset-watchers alike. And the view of Mont Saint Michel and Tombalaine are extraordinary. It was an absolutely delightful stay.

Ein wundervoller Aufenthalt: traumhaftes Grundstück mit bezaubernden Blick auf den Mont Saint Michel. Das Haus sehr charmant und sehr gut ausgestattet in einer herrlichen Natur und einem süßen Dorf. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr zuvorkommend und supernett. Vielen Dank!

Check In war super easy. Küche mit Kühlschrank, Mikro, Herd, Ofen. Kelle hat gefehlt. Haben wir besorgt und gespendet. Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Tolle Lage. Kontakt mit Sandrine freundlich und immer schnelle Antwort. Alles bestens. Beachten müsste man die Französischen Decken. Wir hatten nur Bezüge dür unsere 90x200 m Decke mit. Die passten hier nicht. Séjour magique !

Nous étions en famille à 9 dans ce magnifique gîte ! De 10 à 77 ans (wifi pour nos ados ;)), nous avons tous apprécié le site et l’environnement ! Gîte très bien équipé à tous niveaux. (2 sdb avec 1 baignoire et 1 douche et 1 wc à l’étage et même une douche et wc au rdc). Belles chambres avec une très belle literie. Tout était prêt pour notre arrivée (lits et linge de maison). 2 frigos/2 machines à laver la vaisselle, un sèche linge, vaisselle en tout genre !). Vous profiterez du très bel espace extérieur avec une vue directe sur le mont St Michel, les pieds dans la baie avec des chemins de randonnée avec accès direct depuis la maison. Nous avons mangé dehors tous les jours grâce au magnifique temps et au barbecue ! Merci pour ce très beau souvenir en famille !

Bel emplacement, vue sur la baie depuis le jardin. Belles promenades depuis la location. Beau jardin bien clôturé. Très bonne literie. Tout le nécessaire de disponible en terme d électroménager, ustensiles de cuisine etc… Calme. Un seul bémol, une déception, la cheminée avec bois mis à disposition, fonctionne mal. Enfumage garanti et odeur acre tenace. Mis à part cela, nous avons apprécié notre séjour en famille.

Wunderschön gelegenes Haus mit großem Garten. Im Haus ist alles was man für den täglichen Komfort braucht vorhanden. Vom Haus aus lassen sich die Bretagne oder die Landungsstände bequem mit dem Auto erkunden. Der Garten ist perfekt. Er ist groß, ganztägig sonnenbeschienen und bietet die Möglichkeit den Sonnenuntergang über dem Mont zu bestaunen.

Vue et maison

Vue imprenable sur le Mont ST Michel depuis le jardin (dommage que ce ne soit pas de la maison, dirait un enfant gaté ! ) Maison ancienne dont il ne manque cependant rien pour passer de belles vacances. Petit plus à améliorer : un "vrai" salon de jardin avec fauteuils mêmes les plus basiques seraient tellement appréciés plutôt que les bancs en bois à enjamber. Le mobilier de la cuisine mériterait un petit coup de jeunesse...table banc vaisselier. Enfin, Mme SADRIN est joignable à tout moment, très serviable et gentille.

Beautiful location & very child friendly

We had a lovely visit at this property. It has the most amazing view of Mont-Saint-Michel (which is even better in person - the photos do not do it justice). It was also a very easy walk to the Ecomusée de la Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel. Sandrine is the perfect host and very responsive. The house had a minor maintenance problem when we were there and it was fixed within an hour of us calling it in. Could not have asked for better service. Not only was it outfitted well for adults (kitchen, towels, linens, etc), but they had a large selection of children's books, toys, and games (for children and adults). The portable crib was also a big bonus! I highly recommend this property.

Perfect Location and excellent host!!!

This property is ideally located to enjoy all Mont-Saint-Michel has to offer! We had a great stay, visited MSM in the morning and explored the mudflats of the bay, right out the back door, in the afternoon. Beautiful view of MSM across the bay from the house. Sandrine was exceptional, very responsive and accommodating! Definitely recommend for families. Thanks for the great experience and unforgettable memories.
