Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This two bedroom two bath condo was perfect for our family of four. Although the condo itself is not right on the beach, it is an easy walk without crossing any streets. There are quite a few steps to get down (and therefore up!) but that is pretty common all along the coast. I loved that we could borrow beach "stuff" (umbrella, cooler, chairs, boogie boards!). The condo did have some things, but what they didn't have, Stubbs let us borrow from a whole equipment shed of options. While we did not really walk to restaurants, I suppose you could, or it was a very easy short drive. Highly recommend!

Great Location!

Clean and comfortable condo in perfect location. Easy access to beach and pool. As others have mentioned, needs upgrades especially bed and blinds. Also, it should be mentioned in listing that fireplace was not functional. Stubbs was great to work with; quick responses.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is ideal location! Wonderful staff at Stubbs, esp Jennifer and Tyler!Now the CONS..VERY DATED! Lots of pots,utensils, etc but draws hard to open and dirty, I had to buy shelf liner and clean before I would use. Carpet has bad smell, very musty..couch smells, I brought throws to cover..bathrooms so outdated. Ok if you are having short stay but would not recommend staying for longer than 1-2 weeks. We do enjoy the big windows in dining area but too bad window coverings are so outdated.

Location, Location, Location!

This listing is perfectly situated between Del Mar and Solana Beach, putting you right in the middle of all the amazing restaurants, activities, beaches, and action. The complex is very safe, gated with amazing pools and the perfect spot to catch amazing Southern California sunsets. You get one assigned parking spot and there is plenty of visitor parking and street parking. The apartment is big with a huge master bedroom and a smaller second bedroom with two twin beds. The kitchen offers a number of convenient appliances but if you’ll be staying long or cooking all the time, you may need to pick up some additional supplies. Some of the furniture is dated but everything is comfortable and functional. We enjoyed staying in the complex and having easy access to the beach and this amazing area. The managing agency stays in touch via text and provides all the information you will need. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. If you are looking to be close to everything Del Mar and Solana Beach offers, I highly recommend this listing.

You get what you pay for

The location was perfect. This place was set up with minimal needed. It would have been nice on the chilly nights to have the fireplace work.The blinds in the small bedroom do not shut all. We had to hang a blanket over the whole thing. The blinds in the master didn't connect and close properly. I was able to adjust them so I at least felt comfortable sleeping in there since the bedrooms are located on the road side. Beds seem older. Super hard/firm. Not so much comfort. The pillows are old/stained. I had to run them through the dryer a few times to be able to sleep on them. (Dust allergies). The bedding sheets and comforter were very nice though. The ceiling fan in the master was not right. Wobbled all over the place. I was going to try the regular fan but that was covered in dust. The management company responded right away. Sent someone over to fix. They disconnected the ceiling fan in the master and brought 2 cleaner stand up fans (I couldn't get mine to work). They were not able to fix the bedroom blinds though. I didn't think I was going to get too much with the price point but I had family live in this complex for a year so I guess I expected more. This place could use some serious updates starting with the blinds and the beds. The carpet next. Pots and pans seemed rather worn. Nonstick all scratched. I would have gladly paid if the place had some updates.

Everything but the beds

Perfect location to enjoy the beach everyday and take in the sunsets from the community deck/lounge! Was able to work easily during the week and get our for quick beach workouts too on what felt like a private beach! The only negative about our stay was how uncomfortable the beds are. We had to put extra blankets/sheets down to save oursleves after a painful first nights sleep. We asked the owner about purchasing a mattress topper & they unfortunately said no. New mattresses or toppers are sorely needed to give the full 5 stars.

Just like home

This condo is dated but so very comfortable! The bed and linens were wonderful. There was construction going on the whole time but it didn’t bother me. It was a very short walk to either the pool or the beach. I would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely week away to relax.
