Ski Harbor #7 is a tastefully furnished four-bedroom townhome located on Deep Creek Lake's most popular northern peninsula. It is ideal for a small family but spacious enough for the couple's retreat.

Boasting magnificent mountain views, the spacious main level has an inviting feel that is enhanced by lots of natural light and well-chosen decor. You can relax on the sectional sofa where there is plenty of room to watch your favorite DVD or simply enjoy the warm glow from the fireplace. A queen sleep sofa expands your sleeping space for extra guests too.

The cooks in your group will appreciate the recently updated kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Seating for four at the breakfast bar and six at the table in the dining area makes it easy to share meals with your favorite people. If the mood strikes, you can also take advantage of the gas grill and dine on the deck with beautiful scenery all around you.

Upstairs, the primary suite is outfitted with a queen bed, TV, and a DVD player. You also have your own private balcony where you can sip your morning coffee or stargaze each evening.

Absolutely love this place. Stay here every time we visit (2-4 times per year). Great location. Kids love the pool, especially in the off season. Neighborhood is quiet and well kept.

The house was clean and well equipped. They said be prepared to bring your own soap, toilet paper, etc but there was plenty for 2 people for 3 nights. Comfortable beds and couch. Had trouble getting comcast to work but they came over right away and got it working by the time we got back to the house a couple hours later. The pool and hot tub are a bonus after cold days on the slopes!

This is our second time staying at this location, and will continue to make it the place moving forward. Excellent location, the neighborhood pool is awesome, quiet area. Love it! Can’t wait to go back.

Great Space and Location

This unit was great and perfect for our needs. The location on the lake was great with wonderful views, and the proximity to Wisp Resort was convenient. The interior was perfect, with the common areas and 4 bedrooms providing more than enough space for everyone. Parking was convenient, and the community perks such as the pool and hot tub were great after a day on the slopes. Everyone had a great time.

Overall our experience was good. We loved the location and property. I’ve think that there are some things that could be better kept, such as the cleaning of cobwebs inside and on the deck. Even for two people the paper products were barely enough for the the amount of days we stayed there. We were otherwise comfortable there.

Has potential but needs TLC!

The hot water tank had not been turned on it took 2 hours to heat up once we flipped the breaker. Reported TV issue to rental agent and was transferred contractor no one came to fix problem. No grill. Place needs a good spring-cleaning heavy dust in electric heating units. Dining room tables glass top need to be thoroughly cleaned underneath glass,1 Kitchen stool's brace is broken and not safe.Great pool, grandkids enjoyed every day with nice long hours. Kitchen has new appliances, and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean.

Mixed Review

The location was beautiful but the house coulddefinitely use updating. On the positive side: the house was very clean and there were more supplies than advertised (toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, and a couple of dishwasher pods). On the negative side: the decor was very outdated and the main living area was very dark. The house smelled very stuffy. The bed in the primary bedroom and one of the other bedrooms (the queen bedroom at the top of the stairs to the left) had beds that were so hard that it was impossible to sleep comfortably. If you’re just looking for a place to rest after a full day of outdoor activities, it’s probably fine. If you’re looking for a lovely and relaxing getaway, it’s disappointing. For our needs it was sufficient, but it wasn’t a stay that I’d look forward to repeating .

Location, location, location

We were two families going to ski at Wisp and the location to the resort was amazing! We didn’t realize that it was less than a 5 minute drive from the house to Wisp, and that made it so much easier to go back & forth. We did not initially receive the check-in email and I had to call VRBO because we hadn’t received a response with less than two hours from check-in. VRBO was able to reach the property management company and we did receive it and were able to access the property. Unfortunately, in the check-in email was information regarding the minimalist provisions in the townhouse, so we didn’t have time to bring our own salt & pepper, additional TP and paper towels and toiletries. If it’s going to be that sparse- no soap in the bathrooms, except a partial hand soap in the half bath- that information should be sent out AT LEAST 24hours ahead of check-in. This was the most sparsely stocked accommodation we’d ever stayed in. All that said- it was clean, comfortable and the location was EXCELLENT. We would stay there again but we’d pack, soap, salt&pepper, TP, paper towels, ketchup etc.

We enjoyed the location and view of the property. The unit Was filthy. Food on the floor, dirty clothes under the bed, hair in the tub, The ceiling fans haven’t been cleaned or dusted for a very long time, inches of dust on top, my grandson lost a toy under the couch, we pulled the couch back to find food, Hair ties and so much filth there. We used are own linens and towels. Basically disgusting. Too. Much money paid for unclean unit, especially during Covid.

Deep Creek Getaway

SkiHarbor 7 was as shown & described on the website. It was comfortable and adequately supplied with dinnerware & utensils. Local grocery store was well-stocked despite recommendation that food/paper items be purchased before arriving. With 4 adults and twin 2 1/2 yr. olds, the downstairs communal space felt a bit tight when daily thunder storms chased us inside, otherwise, the patio & outdoor furnishings were much appreciated. I will note ... there is NO AC ... a none issue for us fortunately, as temps were in low 70's and each room had a fan. The complex is conveniently located ... on a lovely point surrounded by water - with a small beach area for children to wade ... a nice bonus, as the pool was closed due to virus.

Nicely updated townhouse, good location. New appliances and a well stocked kitchen. The kitchen/dining living area has an unusual layout with steps and large stone post restricting areas.
