Gite in lovely setting

We had a great week and fine weather at this lovely Gite surrounded by woodland and open countryside Comfortable.well equipped and with great beds and plenty of relaxing sitting out placesIt was a pleasant ten minute stroll to the village where a Boulangerie had just opened. A great spot for visiting Bergerac, Domme, Sarlac etc and we recommend 5 mile walk round Lac de L'Escourai Anne Jones

Great location but disappointing

It took us some time to decide on where to stay near Bergerac. We chose this location because it looked good and suited our needs. We were very disappointed with the condition of the property. Photographs that went with the listing didn't represent what we found. We realise that we booked the accommodation towards the end of the season but the property felt tired and in need of remedial work. The lady who met us was charming, welcoming and very helpful on our arrival. She explained some issues and made us aware of a cleaning fee (of which we declined, preferring to clean the property ourselves) and a charge for extra electricity, both things that we were not aware of before booking. On the plus side the property is set in a beautiful and quiet rural location with easy access to the major town of Bergerac and countless beautiful, sleepy villages nearby.

Superbe location ! Logement très propre et fonctionnel, draps serviettes torchons fournis, idéal. Siège bébé, lit parapluie, livres pour enfants parfait.
