Enjoy our family-friendly and comfortable home nestled in the pines of the Winter Park Highlands in Tabernash. Relax in the private hot tub on 2 acres and take in views of the Continental Divide. After the family spends all day together, adults can lounge with a beverage by the wood fireplace upstairs, while the kids hang out and play video games or watch movies downstairs.
The house is centrally located and in a great spot for both winter and summer activities. We are just 15 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane ski areas and 10 minutes from Ski Granby Ranch, and even closer to Snow Mountain Ranch (YMCA) and Devil’s Thumb Ranch for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing and plenty of hiking/outdoor space. Lake Granby is just a 20 minute drive and, Grand Lake / Rocky Mountain National Park is 30 minutes away.
Main level: • Living room with big windows and lots of light, furnished with comfy leather couches to read a book or watch a movie on the 32-inch LCD TV (concealed by an armoire when not is use). Furniture seats 6 adults. • Dining room with seating for 8 • Kitchen bar with stools to seat 4 • Fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher and garbage disposal. Coffee-maker and toaster are available. All dishes, pots, glasses, silverware, paper products, etc., are included. Common spices and condiments are provided. • Full bathroom • Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, private full bath, dual side tables and lamps, and a large closet. The bed has a pillow top, high thread count sheets, and a down comforter. • Second bedroom features a Queen-sized pillow-top bed with dual side tables and lamps, and an enormous closet for storage. • Off the main level is a deck with a gas grill and outdoor seating.
Lower Level The downstairs is like a second living area. There is a sectional sofa and large TV for movies or playing video games. • Third bedroom has two bunk beds that sleeps four. • 3/4 bath with shower. • Large mudroom for stowing coats, boots and outdoor gear

Perfect property for family and dogs. Especially, if you want to be on a quiet wooded lot. The property is not completely brand, new and high-end, which again is perfect for dogs.It’s a very nice rustic getaway

We loved our stay with Mike & Michon! The house was perfect for a weekend getaway - clean, well-stocked, & great winter amenities (hot tub, fireplace, etc). Would love to stay here again the next time we come to Winter Park.
Great place. Patio is wonderful, really comfortable bedding, plenty of nice towels, hot tub is a perfect place to spend late evenings. Downstairs room with big TV makes for an ideal movie night. Close to the highway so getting to Tabernash or Granby or Fraser is easy, but still feels isolated and away from it all. Place was equipped with everything we needed, so we didn’t have to contact the hosts, but they checked in with us and were responsive. Check in was nice and easy. Will definitely be back sometime in the future!
Loved staying here for a ski trip during the holidays. Cabin has a large property that is peaceful and well maintained. Cabin itself is large and was spotless upon arrival. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. Bonus points for the fireplace that was available with lots of kindling and firewood!

Our family of 6 (3 couples + 2 dogs) had a great time enjoying this home. Nice common areas in the home and an awesome wraparound deck made sharing time together easy. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, just about a 10-25 min drive from Granby and Winter Park. Thanks so much for letting us stay!

Skied at Devils Thumb, Snow Mountain, and Grand Lake, all a short drive away. Hot tub and wood burning fireplace were nice after a day on the trails. Responsive host.
Our whole family really enjoyed the cabin. We grilled on the back deck. Ate soo many smores at the firepit. Then ended the days in the hot tub. We had such a great trip and the cabin helped make for great memories. We highly recommend this home.

Chose this place for its proximity between Winter Park and Granby Ranch. Honestly, didn't even need to leave. This was a great property! The Hot tub was amazing and there was more room then we knew that to do with. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home as well.

We are a family of four who live in Denver, Colorado. We love to travel, ski and spend time with friends and family. Our cabin has provided so many opportunities to connect with friends and family and we are delighted to provide that same opportunity to our guests!
Why they chose this property
We chose Grand County because of its proximity to Denver. Less than a 90-minute drive and no Eisenhower Tunnel! The house is on a peaceful, tree-filled-two acre lot, with lots of sunshine. It's a great place to relax. We’re centrally located and close to skiing and boarding at Winter Park and Ski Granby Ranch, cross country skiing at Devil’s Thumb and Snow Mountain Ranch, mountain biking and hiking up and down the Fraser Valley, fishing and boating at Lake Granby and soaking at Hot Sulphur Springs. Our house is perfectly located in the middle of the Fraser Valley and so convenient to all its amenities. That said, it's also the perfect place to just stay and unwind. Surrounded by trees, time at the house is a perfectly private and relaxing retreat.
What makes this property unique
We love the sun shine that streams in through living room windows, and enjoying the star-filled sky from the hot tub. The house has a downstairs that is perfect for kids to hang out and have their own space, while the adults can relax in the upstairs. It works great for two families.
