Superb location, fantastic outdoor space, great pool area & very private.Bathroom areas slightly tired & the lower ground floor bathroom not suitable for tall people.Kitchen very well equipped. As per listing not sure where the games room was & beach towels are not provided but this did not distract from our enjoyment of the property.Beautiful beach with snorkelling 5 mins walk & lovely town 10 mins walk away.Local boulangerie & small shop literally 2 mins walk away making for a very easy holiday without the need of a car.

Vacation by the sea ~ southern France

The house is lovely, in a great location. Juliette was great with communication. The pool was our favorite of the places we’ve stayed. I can’t wait to go back!!

Excellent location, lovely property.

Given the fact that this property is so well located in the heart of Sanary-sur-Mer, we never needed our car almost the whole time we stayed there. The house is a lovely example of the typical architecture found throughout the South of France, and the common living spaces were very comfortable, light and airy.

Great location

Perfectly located house in a beautiful town. Great swimming pool and a great host with great recommendations. Some little quirks of an older house. Would be nice for the downstairs bedroom to be able to open onto terrace and maybe some air con in the garden level. Overall we a had a great stay for large family of three generations.

What an absolute gem. A few minutes walk to the beach and a stroll into town to the wonderful harbourside market for fresh produce for the BBQ. So many quaint streets with lots of upmarket shops and restaurants. We had a lovely scenic walk along the coast to Bandol and a boat trip out from the harbour to see dolphins. The hosts were charming and responded very rapidly to any queries. The house itself is spacious and comfortable with a lovely private pool and outside eating and relaxing area. All you could want for a holiday by the sea in France.

Serene Sanary

We loved the beautiful large lush garden and pool and the terrace was spacious and perfect for family meals with a great view of the garden. The house is so cute and in a wonderful location, just minutes from Portissol beach and a short walk to the port, filled with cafes and restaurants and shops. There is a great little market and a boulangerie as well as a pharmacy just a two minute walk away. The only drawback was the bathrooms were a bit awkward to use and the coffee maker has a leak. But we loved our stay

Fantastic French Charm

A beautiful home obviously well loved and cared for by its owner Juliette and her lovely housekeeper. We were welcomed with a bottle of Rose (nice touch) and immediately fell in love with both the house and the quaint town of Sanary-sur-Mer. Juliette provided a wealth of information and suggestions for our stay. My only disappointment is the time flew by so quickly in this beautiful location and home. I hope to return one day. Merci beaucoup Juliette!

The property is in an excellent location within a very short walk of Portissol Plage and also the very appealing harbour town of Sanary with its daily food market full of great quality fresh produce. There is also a great Boulangerie and grocery a few steps from the house. The house is attractive with a very large terrace where we spent our time. The pool is a good size and surrounded by very attractive planting. On the down side, we knew how hot it would be and chose a property with air conditioning. This never functioned during our stay and communications made us feel we had done something incorrect to the controls. We bought our own fans from a supermarket.Bedlinen provided at extra cost is not great, take your own( although very unusual in England at this level to have to make beds). The two basement bedrooms are large and quite cool, one of the outside doors to these could not be shut and the shared bathroom is rudimentary with a shower hose in a bath.On our last day garders visited with very loud petrol driven tools when we were having breakfast. They made a loud noise for over an our. The pool had been very clear all holiday with one maintenance visit. On the last day the shocked the pool with chemicals and it remained extremely clouded and still was when we left the following morning. The owners said it was fine to use like that but everything we researched said no. So no pool on the last day.A lovely house in a great location but room for improvement.

Perfect

We were a group of six adults and four children. The location of the villa couldn't really be bettered as both beach and town are a short walk away. Most of our time was spent on the large terrace or in the lovely pool and the children also had fun playing in the beautiful Mediterranean garden. The photos do not really do justice to the charming house. And finally a word for our hostess Juliette, who was always available for advice, information and practical help right through from initial booking to our stay in Sanary. Un grand merci Juliette!
