Oceanfront, steps from beach
This fantastic oceanfront beach home was built in 2002. Amazing views from every room! The downstairs living space is open and perfect for watching the waves, reading, games around the table or gathering to eat. It has been comfortably furnished for that 'beach cottage' look. The downstairs bedroom has an adjustable queen and twin with TV. There is also a spare twin in the closet under the stairs. The upstairs bedroom has a king bed, TV and a reading nook that can double as a small office if you’re working from the beach……although it’s hard to concentrate on work with that view! There is also a laundry room upstairs.
Pull up an Adirondack chair and sit on the deck to watch the sunset. Beach access is direct from southern corner of front yard. Tierra Del Mar is a peaceful community with miles of beach stretching north to the estuary and ending to the south at Cape Kiwanda.

Tillamook Naval Air Museum and Tillamook Air Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Octopus Tree and Cape Meares Lighthouse. We are native Oregonians that grew up with the beach being a big part of our lives. This home has been a dream come true. We live in the metro area but love getting to come unwind at the coast. Now that we're empty-nesters we're able to do that a little more often.
Why they chose this property
We have always been beach lovers and spent many a vacation at various places on the Oregon Coast - a lot of times being disappointed with the accommodations. We wanted a place that not only we could enjoy with our family, but that others could share in as well.
What makes this property unique
Tierra Del Mar is such a great little community. It's quiet (except on 4th of July!!) but plenty to explore if you can drag yourself away from the view. Some of our favorite activities are the beach walks, climbing Cape Kiwanda (from either side), kayaking the estuary or rivers, boogie boarding, bbqing, crabbing, clamming....are you ready to book yet?
