Best VRBO that we have stayed in, property and host were the best. We had our family coming and going during our visit and Valeria and his wife were so gracious and accommodating. Kitchen was great and had a table that would extend for a family dinner of 10. The chef that prepared our dinner was wonderful and so fun. Highly recommend this property!
The property and it's facilities are more than ample for a family or group of friends wanting the space to relax in the amazing tuscan countryside with easy access to many wonderful towns. A car is required to really get the full benefit of the property. The pool and hot tub were both well used.
We had a wonderful stay at this amazing villa close to Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza! The villa was beautiful inside, including 4 large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen and dining area, and a very relaxing living area. The outside of the villa was amazing with a gorgeous view of the countryside from the backyard pool as well as a separate building for the hot tub! Our host Valario was very accessible and helpful throughout the check in process as well as during the remainder of our stay. Overall a wonderful experience, we'll be back again!
This property is AMAZING. The photos online do not do it justice. It is a Tuscan paradise and the house is truly a HOME. The kitchen is well appointed with every item you could possibly need. The gardens have multiple sitting areas for you glass of wine or cup of cappuccino! We came with children AND grandparents and it was perfect for everyone!!
Valerio was such a great host! He was super communicative and responsive. The home is very charming, so much character, felt like I was apart of a Nancy Meyers movie. Chef Walter was the perfect addition to our stay here, highly recommend. Side note: make sure to check the contract that is sent to your inbox once you book your stay - you are responsible for the utilities; we did not realize this until Valerio brought it our attention. I do feel it should be noted in the listing itself, before booking, but you will find it in your inbox within the contract itself - so that was a bit of a surprise to us.

Thank you to Amber and her lovely family for choosing to stay at our house and for writing such a lovely review. I just want to address the issue of our consumption-based electricity costs. We made this decision to raise awareness among our guests about consumption, as we noticed in our early years that if electricity is included in the price, it must necessarily be higher than what we offer per night. This is because some guests don't use electricity economically and "greenly" but often leave the house to visit various art cities, leaving lights on in the house, in the park, by the pool even during the day, with air conditioning units left open and mini-spa motors running all night. This results in significant electricity consumption, which would then have significantly increased the property's prices per night. In this case, however, the costs are transparent and each guest pays for what they use. For example, Amber only paid €1.90 per night per person in electricity costs. So, about €15 per night. If I had to set a fixed fee, Amber, and everyone else, would probably have paid much more because I would have had to add an "average surcharge" to the nightly rate, including all the costs of guests who are less attentive to consumption. These costs are also highlighted in the "house rules" and in the contract, which can and should be read "before" booking, as stated in the house rules. Our cook is one of the services we offer our guests, and I want to point out that we do not charge any commission for these services, while many other properties take a percentage for the use of the kitchen and accessories. We want only the best for our guests without burdening them with the costs of these services, even though we provide our property and, in the case of the cook, our beautiful kitchen.
This place was amazing! Can't even describe the feeling going through the gated entrance and walking through the front door for the first time. So much character, beautifully decorated, incredibly beautiful and peaceful. Valerio was very helpful and showed us around the place when we got there. I highly recommended asking for Chef Walter's pasta making class. It was an amazing experience and delicious dinner after. One note, you do have to pay for utilities after your stay on top of the original fees. Also, the pool was still closed since we were there in the beginning of April
Truly a special place in Tuscany. We loved every minute of our stay and hope we’re lucky enough to go back. Valerio was communicative and responsive and gave us several recommendations in and around Cetona. We stayed over Christmas and he set up Christmas decorations and a tree which made it feel like a home away from home. He also organized a private chef to come to the villa which was a fantastic experience. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
Lovely farmhouse in beautiful countryside. Valerie was a great host and we very much enjoyed our stay. Cetona is a lovely village with exceptional food!
A lovely villa overlooking the Tuscan hillside - very beautiful - all the amenities - pool, hot tub,Many nooks and crannies to sit and enjoy!Valerio was a wonderful host and super responsive and helpful! He arranged for a private chef to come and prepare a wonderful meal in his beautiful kitchen- we loved our time here!!
Beautiful home and surrounding property. View is fantastic of Tuscan countryside. Valerio and his wife are very kind. Chef Walter was wonderful and prepared a delicious dinner for us. We had a great time.
Absolutely fantastic stay. Villa is superb and the air con was a life saver given the 96deg heat most days.
Bedrooms spacious and very comfortable Pool and area around with stunning views a great place to relax
We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the small town feel and the welcome that Valerio gave us. We wish the weather could have been better so that we could’ve enjoyed the views more, but still an excellent time. We especially enjoyed cooking a meal in the kitchen together using ingredients we found at the local vendors in cetona! We hope to be back soon!
3 couples for the US, 2 of us had stayed here before…such a perfect location for exploring AND relaxation and there is no better local village than Cetona!! Love, love, love!!
This was the highlight of our vacation. We stayed a week here in Cetona and could not have had a more relaxing time. The property owner Valerio was wonderful, helping us book an excursion to a winery and recommending places to shop and eat. The pool and hot tub were immaculate and were cleaned every day. The grounds around the house were well kept and fun to explore. The farmhouse itself was great, very comfortable to live in. Amazing views from the top floor and out around the pool. 100% would visit again.
Perfect location: Cetona is a lovely little town, 1 km walk away. Great piazza with a few restaurant choices, coffee and gelato. Great hike up the hills just off the piazza. Valerio is responsive and determined to make sure your stay is comfortable. The house and grounds are lovely
