Ocean House 2701 2 bedroom 3 bath gulf-front Totally Remodeled!

Ocean House #2701 is an east corner gulf-front 2 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 7th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The entire condo has been remodeled with all new furniture, accessories and freshly painted throughout. The unit is approximately 1300 sq ft with views of the gulf from the large living area. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom and the middle bedroom has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. The 3rd bathroom is accessed via the living/hall area.

Ocean House I and II are 9 story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor and small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23 Sleeps 7.

Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at guard house or office located in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

STAY AND PLAY

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including; golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Great family trip

Check in was super easy. We received an email and text telling us what to do step by step. The kitchen wasn’t anything impressive but was everything we needed for a 3 day vacay and us going out to eat every night.

Wonderful condo and super easy booking process!

The condo booking process was very easy and communication was wonderful. Everything we needed to know was in the booking info and we had zero problems. Beautiful condo and very clean. Loved that it came with a few paper products as well! Would 100% book again for our yearly couples vacay! Beautiful views from the balcony and close to all restaurants! Overall great experience and really enjoyed our week at Ocean House 2!

Gulf Shores condo

Good location, and the condo was as advertised. Loved having the corner unit with a balcony facing the beach, and also a balcony facing the canal and street, would like to have had enough outdoor chairs for both though. We were pleased overall, and would stay again.

Love being able to look at the lagoon and the gulf from both sides of the condo. We have reserved this unit already for September 2025.

Good location

Overall it was very nice. One takeaway was that there were no condiments (salt/pepper etc...nothing. we were used to places where people leave things for the next guest, like we usually do....had to make multiple trips to store kept forgetting things). Everyone agreed beds weren't comfortable.

Nice condo, needs some updates.

Living room very spacious. Kitchen little small. In first 24 hours had maintenance issues but within 10 minutes they were fixed. Primary bedroom do hear trash being taken out every morning at 5 am. Overall nice stay. Did have to wash towels on first day because they all had a chemical smell.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: OUR RENTAL HAD A GREAT LOCATION, VERY NICE ON THE INSIDE, BEACH WAS SUPER & OUR 2 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER LOVED THE ZERO ENTRY POOL! THE ONLY BAD ISSUE WAS THE FLOOR IN OUR UNTIL WAS VERY DIRTY AND WE HAD TO MOP THE WHOLE UNIT TWICE TO GET ALL THE SAND AND DIRT OFF OF THE FLOOR BEFORE WE COULD WALK ACROSS THE FLOOR WITHOUT STICKING TO IT.

Spring Break at Ocean House

The unit was well furnished with all you need. Nice furniture and comfortable beds. The only issues that I had were the fact that they dumped the garbage dumpster in the middle of the night. The sink in the master bath did not drain well. This are minor issues. For a couple of families this would be the perfect place.

The unit had everything we were looking for in a unit. The access to the beach was great. We only had a couple issues. The floors needed to be cleaned better. First day there walked around in socks and they were very dirty from the floors. Purchased floor cleaner from grocery and used mop and bucket supplied in the room. I would definitely stay there again.

Summer Fun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I hadn't been to Gulf Shores in 50 years and Wow what a change and not for the better. As with everything, its way too commercialized now.The Condo itself was acceptable for the price, but not an exceptional experience.It was somewhat dated and the quality of maintenance was less than stellar.The bedding, pillows and towels were not good and did not meet anyones expectations.We paid $420 per night so I'm not sure what you'd have to pay for a higher level experience, but I would most likely want to upgrade for any future trips.

While arriving ,

While arriving , I didn’t know we would have to purchase our parking passes , in the past we always got 2 with the room … that was more money out of our pocket .. then while unloading our groceries the shelf in the refrigerator door broke and our items fell out causing a huge mess not to mention more money lost , we didn’t have a broom in the condo to clean it up . Then we sat a gallon of tea in the sink to unpack the rest of the items and the sink falls through .. causing more problems … we called the number I had to tell them what all was going on however they didn’t fix the door in the frig . But came and glued the sink back saying this was the 3rd one he has seen done this was and also telling us we didn’t need to use the sink for 48 hrs so that it would glue back so the food and items we got to cook now puts us out for 2 days of not using the kitchen , so move on from all of that we r at the pool and the security guy older man who is very very rude asks us where our arm bands was I simply said we didn’t get any at check in or didn’t have a note about it either .. so then I have to leave the pool follow him to get the arm bands for very body ,,, then everyday it was something the dryer was taking 4 cycles to dry towels so we had to hang outside and he got on to us for that as well … then my mother in law was sitting in the balcony and there was 2 roaches we seen .. I’m just not very pleased with this at all and would like some kind of refund … bc we are out money .. also the condo smelled like something was dead somewhere I stay with VRBO 2 times a year and have never had so much problems

Disappointed in Ocean House 2701

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Floors were dirty. Dish washer didn't work on arrival, reported it to rental office. Still didn't work when we left. Dryer didn't dry even after 2 different people came out to check it. Said vent was clogged up between dryer and outside vent. never fixed. we've stayed in Ocean House 2 for over 20 years. 2701 was the worst unit we have ever stayed in. Pictures were vague. No table on the balcony as all others we had stayed had table and chairs so we could have meals on the balcony No seperate shower in the master bedroom. I could go on and on.Owners had a note framed that they spent several months a year in the unit. I bet they have working dish washer and dryer when they are there. I have to wash dishes at home and didn't expect to wash on vacation. The room rents for a very premium price even though it does not meet the price standards. very disappointed this year. We did receive a very small compensation after voicing our concerns at check out.

Beautiful Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beautiful Gulf Shores is a must see. The Ocean House sits perfectly there because the house is just as beautiful. The kitchen has plenty of room and everything you need. The master bedroom is incredible with a walk-in closet, bathroom and vanity. The spare room is also perfect with its own bathroom. The oversized living room leads to a beautiful balcony where you can see the beach, pool and enjoy everything the Shores has to offer. HIGHLY recommend!
