Wonderful renovated apartment perfect for your visit to Venice

Colorful apartment on the fourth floor with lift, complete with living room with sofa bed and table; cooking area equipped with dishwasher, microwave, kettle, fridge, toaster etc; "green" triple room with double and single bed, complete with wardrobe, reading table, luggage rack; "blue" double room with double bed, complete with wardrobe, reading table, luggage rack; "yellow" room with two single beds and wardrobe; main bathroom with shower and washing machine; second bathroom (without shower); large private terrace accessible from the living room overlooking the Viale where you can have breakfast. Under the house there is a bank with ATM, in front of the house you will find the tram stop T1 line direct to Venice historic city every 10 min, next to the building you can take your children to the playground and in two minutes by tram you will reach the "San Giuliano" Park of the city, which directly overlooks the lagoon, excellent for jogging and walking. On foot you can reach the center of Mestre, every type of restaurant, pizzeria, ice cream parlor, cinema, theater, hospital, city market, etc.

Wonderful home

Perfect place for my family of four on our short trip to Venice. Wonderful to have the public transportation (literally) steps from the front door. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and the grocery when we were home from a long day of touring. Also, go to the bakery across the street for fresh bread in the morning. Great host, and excellent stay. Highly recommend!

I can't believe it! This apartment is a stone's throw to Venice. Large, confortable, well equipped... My guests usually don't come here to visit Mestre, but VENICE. I don't accept your review!

Nice Venetian Stay

This is a well maintained flat is about 7 stops on the tram (which is literally right across the street) from Venice. The location makes it a pleasant respite fro the crowds of Venice and there are several really nice local restaurants nearby. The gelato to the right as you come out the front door is excellent. There is a bike path and footpath to the park at the end of the road which is terrific for running. There are a couple of shops close by for the basics - coffee, milk, bread and fruit. We slept 6 people very comfortably. Importantly, the shower and washing machine were really good!

65th Birthday Trip

We had the most wonderful time staying at this place. From the emails back and forth leading up to meeting the owners and getting great advice on where to eat, where to go and how to use the tram. The owner was very clear to be careful on the tram as there are professional pick pockets who prey on tourists. They were RIGHT and you need to heed their advice. Unfortunately, a member of our party got their phone stolen on the tram when it was wall to wall people. This is the ugly truth in any tourist city. The place was super convenient and steps from the tram which takes you right into Venice. If we are ever fortunate to visit Venice again we will for sure stay here!

Stunning property in fantastic location.

From booking to arriving the communication between us was superb. We arranged to be picked up at the airport by taxi, and he was there waiting for us in the arrivals Hall. Upon arrival at the apartment we were welcomed by Margherita who was so warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her, she was so knowledgeable about the local area and the City and Islands of Venice. Where to go, how to get there, what to see, Margherita knew everything, information about where to eat and drink, where not to get ripped off and overcharged, the closer you get to St Marks Square the more you pay for everything!! Information about how best to get round using the city travel pass, which we used extensively every day, even back to the airport this morning. The apartment was really comfortable and relaxing, every room is fully equipped, from the kitchen through the living room, indoor and outdoor dining area, the bedroom was really quiet with a lovely comfy bed, to help you recharge for another full day of sightseeing. Far enough away from Venice to relax but close enough to be there in around 10 minutes on the T1 tram, which stops just outside the apartment. We really enjoyed everything apartment had to offer, and this always makes for a great holiday. Thanks for everything, especially Margherita who was wonderful, warm, welcoming and informative. We will return to Venice, afterall the word Venice in Latin means to return!

Silvia nous a très bien accueillies et donné beaucoup de bons conseils (en français) !Idéalement placé pour visiter Venise : 20mn en tram dont l'arrêt est au pied de l'immeuble.Une boulangerie de l'autre côté de la rue.Appartement agréable avec une belle terrasse.Il manque des grandes tasses ou bols pour le petit déjeuner.Si je retourne à Venise, je reviendrais ici.

Un seul regret : la voisine du dessous

L'appartement est vraiment très bien situé puisque un tram juste en bas de l'immeuble vous emmène directement dans Venise (Piazalle Roma). L'appartement est ainsi idéal pour des cours et moyens séjours. Néanmoins, la voisine du dessous à des difficultés de tolérance. Si on comprend aisément qu'en tant que résidente annuelle de l'appartement elle tienne à sa tranquillité (et c'est bien normal), elle a du mal à admettre que des gens puissent circuler dans leur location (l'appartement est juste au dessus d'elle). Même en prenant 1000 précautions, dès le lendemain de notre arrivée nous avons eu le droit à 1000 reproches sur le "bruit" de nos pas. À moins de se couper les pieds, je ne vois pas de solutions. Ceci n'a en rien gâcher notre séjour, la qualité de l'accueil y est pour beaucoup.

Ideal für Ausflüge nach Venedig

Große Ferienwohnung in einem Wohnhaus in Mestre. Straßenbahn nach Venedig direkt vor der Haustür. Den Piazzale de Roma, von dem die Wasserbusse oder Erkundungen zu Fuß starten, erreicht man mit der Straßenbahn in 15 min. Wichtig zu wissen ist aber, dass es zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten schon noch etwas Zeit braucht. Venedig ist groß und weitläufig. Mestre selbst scheint wenig interessant zu sein. Man kann aber gut Lebensmittel in den vielen Supermärkten einkaufen. Die Wohnung selbst ist im 4. Stock. Es steht ein Fahrstuhl zur Verfügung. Für Anreisen per PKW gibt es einen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert. Die Wohnung ist weniger gemütlich eingerichtet, dafür aber funktional und auch für größere Familien geeignet.

Superbe et grand appartement. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à l'appartement. Bien équipé pour accueillir un bébé, chaise haute et lit. Très facile de se rendre à Venise, tramway qui passe au 10-15min devant la maison. Beaucoup de services à proximité. Quartier tranquille.

Gute Wohnung mit kleinen Einschränkungen

Die Ausstattung und Lage der Wohnung entspricht den Bildern aber nur weil es bunt aussieht, ist es nicht unbedingt zweckmäßig. Positiv ist es, einen kostenlosen Parkplatz zu haben, um mit der Straßenbahn, die direkt gegenüber der Wohnung hält, schnell nach Venedig fahren zu können. Auch der Bäcker direkt gegenüber ist von Vorteil. Die bunten Stühle in der Küche laden aber nicht zum bequemen Sitzen ein, hart und unvorteilhaft geformt. Das gilt auch für die dunklen Plastikterrassenstühle. Da diese den ganzen Tag, wie der Tisch, in der Sonne stehen, kann man seine Hände und Arme nicht ablegen. Es ist kein weisser Tisch wie auf dem Foto. Auch gibt es keine Auflagen, daher nur mit Handtuch zu gebrauchen. Ein paar Euro mehr bei der Anschaffung hätten viel gebracht. Die Espresso Kaffeemaschine ist rund am Boden durch den dauerhaften Gebrauch und hat den Kontakt zur Herdplatte verloren. Wie haben eine kleine Kaffeemaschine gekauft, um wenigstens zum Frühstück Kaffee zu haben. Es gibt kein Radio in der Wohnung und der TV spielt nur italienische Sender, klar man ist in Italien, aber zeitgemäß ist das für ein Wohnung die von einer Agentur angeboten wird, nicht mehr. Insgesamt könnte man mit wenig Einsatz viel für seine Gäste erreichen. Wer sich daran nicht stört, hat hier ein befriedigendes Angebot.

Grand appartement au 4e étage. Lumineux, bien aéré et climatisé. Bien insonorisé. Ligne directe de tram T1 pour Venise en face de l'immeuble. Commerces et restaurants à proximité. Vaste terrasse avec table et chaises pour apéro et repas. Parking privé au pied de l'immeuble, très pratique.

Optimale Unterkunft für den Besuch Venedigs

Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hell, gut ausgestattet und liegt in der Nähe des Zentrums von Mestre. Dort hat man bessere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten als in Venedig und es gibt auch viele gute Restaurants. Mit der Tram ist man in 15 Min. an der Piazzale Roma in Venedig und kann von dort alle Vaporettos in alle Richtungen benutzen. Das ist ein großer Vorteil. Denn wenn man irgendwo mitten in Venedig wohnt, muß man meist die langsame und immer überfüllte Linie 1 benutzen.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir hatten 4 wunderbare Tage im Appartment Burano. Optimal für Urlauber, die mit dem Auto anreisen. Es gibt einen privaten sicheren Parkplatz am Haus. Die Tram und der Bus sind direkt vor der Haustür, so dass man in wenigen Minuten auf der Piazza del Roma landet. Von dort geht's weiter mit den Wasserbussen. Die Wohnung ist sauber, sehr groß und verfügt über eine funktionierende Klimaanlage, für die wir sehr dankbar bei der Hitze waren. Es gibt auch eine riesige Terrasse. Der Stadtteil Mestre hat auch viel an Infrastruktur zu bieten. Die Vermieterin Sylvia war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, der Kontakt zu ihr war sehr freundlich und die Kommunikation war außerordentlich gut! Vielen Dank nochmal an Sylvia! Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt! Wir kommen sicher wieder und würden es auch jederzeit weiterempfehlen!!

beautiful holiday apartment in Mestre

The holiday home corresponded to the information in the travel portal and was well equipped. The use of the car park in the enclosed courtyard, which is included in the rent, was very good, as there is little parking available in the surrounding area. The tram to Venice departed directly in front of the house, so that the transfer to Venice was easy. Since we used the holiday flat in October 2019, we cannot make any statement about the efficiency of the air conditioning for the flat. The equipment of the apartment and the kitchen was good and sufficient.

Mestre apartment pleasure

This apartment was clean and quiet, with an elevator to get my tired feet to the 4th floor. Best of all, we had a tram and bus stop right across the street, 2 coffee shops nearby and a bank atm downstairs! Wonderful location in Mestre.

Excellent home base for visit to Venice!

Check in process was excellent and Margherita spent time sitting down with us and gave us some insider tips and a great overview of the area. The apartment was clean and well furnished and could not have been more convenient. The light rail stops right in front of the building and was a 15 minute ride to Venice. If you go 2 stops the opposite direction you are in downtown Maestre which should not be missed as well. There is a grocery store, bakery, and restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment. The secure parking was a plus and we never had the need to use our car over the 3 night stay. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay without paying the high prices of staying in Venice, look no further!

Fantastic property for closeness to Venice.

The property is handly places for the tram which stops right outside the property for Venice and the train station at Mestre. The apartment is very comfortable with lots of space and very comfortable. The host gave us a number of places to visit that we didn’t know about. Scala Contarini del Bovolo and pre book a free roof top visit to Fondaco dei Tedeschi. There’s a fairly decent supermarket near the Sansovino tram stop.
