CASA SOLEALTO is a part of a country house located in the most beautiful area of ​​the municipality of Figline Valdarno. The house consists of 2 apartments: CASA SOLEALTO on the left and the other for the owners on the right. You will arrive in 30 minutes to Florence and Arezzo (car or train) in one hour to Siena (car).
For S. Gimignano (70min. By car), Lucca (80 min. By car), Pisa (90 min. By car). In addition, the house is located 2km from the village where you find various shops, restaurants and supermarkets. In 20 min. on foot you will arrive to Sting's Farm Shop where you can buy organic products from the Palagio farm. In 15 min. by car you can get to THE MALL, an outlet with the world's most prestigious brands. The house has a garden of about 10,000 square meters with a children's play area. From the garden you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town of Figline Valdarno and the Pratomagno mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, oven and washing machine. The living room has a fireplace and each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Possibility to have lunch outdoors. Parking available in front of the house.

Hidden Gem in the Rolling Hills of Tuscany

We had a great stay at Akiko's apartment in her beautiful villa. We arrived very late in the evening and she met us to check us in and was kind enough to provide water for us after our long journey! Her place is very homey (there were 5 of us - 3 teens and 2 adults) and she was so fantastic to follow up with us thoroughly through our stay. She gave so make great recommendations on places to visit and eat and was available for us if we had any questions. We felt at home and loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Thank you Akiko for a great stay!

It felt like coming home

We stayed for a second time at Akiko’s place and it felt like coming home. The house was exactly as we remembered and Akiko and her family are still super hosts! So attentive and easy to communicate with. The house is fully equipped for our family of five: dish washer, washing machine, fans in the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a barbecue, a toaster, hairdryer. And we love the surroundings of Figline. It’s a good spot for a holiday in the Chianti region. Again Akiko, grazie mille di tutto. You spoilt us once again! See you next time!

The new pool was a big hit!

This was our third stay at Akiko’s as a family of five. So we knew what to expect. Easy communication with the host, a clean house & Nice bathrooms, everything we need in the kitchen & a washing machine for our daily laundry. There is no AC in the bedrooms though, only a fan. During hot summer days and nights that can be ‘tough’. But since a few months there’s a pool in the garden. And now we love this place even more.

Nice house in Tuscany

Nice house, it feels very private even though you share the house with the owners. Nice big rooms, nice kitchen, small living room. Host is very friendly, easy communication. When booking for accomodation we specificly searched for a pool because of the hot wheather. This place was suggested to us and on one picture we could see the pool. Comments from other guests also shoved us that pool was avaible. When we arrived we were told that pool was not a part of the renting. We we allowed to be in the garten but not the pool - in 40 c. It was a huge disappointment and we only booked this place because of the pool. We asked to borrow it and was allowed 2 hours one afternoon. So if you are looking for pool, dont book this house. Beside the pool issue we had a nice stay.

Tuscany to do list: Chianti, tartuffo and definitely staying at Akiko’s place

What is the superlative of a perfect holiday home? Definitely Akiko’s place! Akiko made our first adventure as a family of five one we’ll always remember. She is the best host! So friendly, helpful and always making sure that her guests are okay. When we arrived she welcomed us with cold drinks in the fridge and fresh fruit on the table. We stayed there for two weeks and she even made us homemade cakes. One with homemade jam with fruits from the garden. And the other cake she baked was for our daughter’s first birthday! The house had everything we needed. Two bedrooms with each a large bed for two persons, a baby cot, two bathrooms (one bath and one with shower), a fully equiped kitchen, a dishwasser, washing machine, a huge garden and good working wifi. We could also use the barbecue, so we could make our own bistecca from time to time. Akiko gave us also wonderful tips. Where to eat (Dudda), which olive oil to get (Pasquini in Regello), where to go with kids when it’s actually too hot to play in the garden and also where I could get a better quality meat for our bistecca on the barbecue. We also loved to stay in Figline Valdarno. It’s so perfect located between all of our favorite hotspots, restaurants, wineshops and medival villages. Yess, next to the house is a camping site. And no, the guests and/or music weren’t that loud. It didn’t bother us when we were sitting in the garden at night. This apartment and its host are a true gem in Tuscany. I’m so happy we stayed here. I even had to promise my oldest son (5 yrs) that we go to the nice lady’s house again soon.

Unterkunft mit Aussicht

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Akiko war eine sehr zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Auf der großen Wiese mit Blick ins Arnotal konnten wir uns gut erholen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Guido, Koblenz.

Toscana entdecken

Wir haben hier wunderschöne Urlaubstage verbracht. Um die Toscana zu entdecken ist es hier ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Akiko ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin die uns mit sehr vielen Tips für Ausflüge unterstützt hat. Auch ihr Limoncello schmeckte einfach super,vielen Dank nochmals dafür Akiko. Die Aussicht vom Garten aus auf den Ort ist wunderschön.In Figline Valdarno und Umgebung gibt es viele Gaststätten und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir reisten mit dem PKW an. Damit sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung gut erreichbar und man ist flexibel um die Gegend zu erkunden. Sehenswert ist z.B. Pisa,Florenz, Siena,San Gimignano um nur einige zu nennen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank nochmals Akiko, wir können dich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Quel formidable séjour et accueil à 2 pas de FLorence et au cœur du Chianti. Hervorragende Unterkunft und nette Vermieterin

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Urlaubswochen verbracht und eine supernette Vermieterin kennengelernt. Das Appartment war super sauper und komplett ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Wir kommen gerne wieder, vor allem, weil wir den noch in Bau befundenen Pool, ausprobieren möchten. Man hat von dem Pool aus eine wunderbare Aussicht auf das Tal und die gegenüberliegenden Berge. Figline Valdorno liegt günstig um einige schöne Städte anzufahren. Wir hatten unsere Mountainbikes mit, mußten allerdings feststellen, daß es hier nicht wirklich schön ist um unserem Hobby nachzugehen. Also haben wir uns im Ort einen Scooter gemietet und sind mit diesem durch die Gegend gefahren....herrlich!

Great property and location for exploring Tuscany. We took trains to both Arezzo and Florence from the local station. Also very near the chianti vineyards with beautiful countryside. Host very helpful. Lovely lady with lots of tips on where to go and on local restaurants.
