Cottage lived up and in some areas exceeded our expectations, cottage very well equipped to make our stay very comfortable, ideal location in lovely village of Crail, within easy access to visit St Andrews and surrounding area.

Lovely house.

We had a lovely stay in Alan’s house. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Crail, everything we needed was in walking distance.

Wonderful home from home

The property and location are both superb, it is a real home from home, relaxing from the minute you step inside. The cottage is well equipped with two bathrooms, great hot water and heating supply and good quality bed linen. The garden was very secure for our dog, a nice size and would be beautiful in summer months, and not bad in spring. Will certainly be looking to book again

Beautiful Cottage

The cottage was perfect for the various ages in our group. More than enough space for 8 of us and we didn’t feel cramped. The cottage was beautiful inside and out and in the best location with it being a 5 min walk down to the beach and a park. Alan was a great host too who responded to questions about a clothes horse! Would highly recommend

Idyllic holiday home

From the initial contact through to the cleaning team this has been an easy and enjoyable process. The host left a welcoming parcel of food that was a nice touch. The cottage was spotless with excellent facilities exactly as described in a beautiful village. I can highly recommend this cottage and we are already planning next years trip

This is the third time that we have stayed at Garden Cottage. It was as good as the first two times; in fact probably better - there was a new chimenea and a Sonos speaker since the last time that we stayed. We also discovered how well stocked the garden shed was. It’s a great cottage for a family holiday in Fife.

Family gathering

This property was exactly as described on the web page. The standard of the house was superb with ample parking spaces outside and close by. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the few days in Crail, walking and generally spending quality time together. The large kitchen, living room / diner was an ideal social space for the family to gather. Would highly recommend this property for those keen to relax and walk.

Lovely house

Lovely property with lots of space Comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen, great open plan living and kitchen area. Dog particularly enjoyed the sunny enclosed garden. Quiet position in Crail next to small park and 5-10 minutes walk from the sea, parking at the front door. Would highly recommend it.

Perfect perfect perfect!

What a wonderful place to stay, it has it all and is really 5star.. You won’t be disappointed and the photographs (as nice as they are), do not capture just how nice the place is. Alan was wonderfully helpful as well. We cannot recommend enough and just hope we can return some day to this lovely pace.

Perfect weekend in a perfect cottage

Three of us and our two doggies were more than happy with the cottage. The owner was easy to contact and answered any questions we had promptly. Would definitely recommend this perfect cottage for anyone looking to stay in the St Andrews area.

Comfortable cottage in a lovely village

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect. The owner was very responsive to all questions. Plenty of room for each of the 4 of us to have a quiet space if so desired and lots of seating areas for chatting, eating etc. i definitely recommend this cottage as a lovely place to stay with friends or family.

Fabulous property, with everything we needed in a super location.

The weather was great, so our son loved the garden, and then we were able to get out and visit many of the beaches along the coast and lots of play parks.
