Mansion form the 18th century, comfortable, sunny, gated pool, a private tennis course, completely fenced in and not overlooked.
Naturism is possible. There are many games for children, garden furniture in a 15000 sq.m park,
40 min away from the important caves of Lascaux, the large castles overlooking the Dordogne river, where you can practice canoeing. In Perigueux (15 min away), there is an international mime festival, a museum, and many other places.
There are guided tours to flambeaux to discover the medieval streets of the town. In the narrow streets, you will find small restaurants offering you dishes made of fresh products from the market. On Wednesday, there is a beautiful market stretching over several places of the city centre as well as a covered Roman market.

A perfect retreat house!

Myself and 10 other 21-year-olds spent a week here and we could not have choosen anywhere better to do so. We spent hours by the pool in the sunshine, used most (but not all purely for time) amenities! The photos do not do this place justice it is far more serene. It is the perfect french home, the stone wall and shutters make it!

Great holiday but listing inaccurate

Large rustic French farmhouse with great tennis court and swimming pool. Unfortunately there weren't as many twin beds as indicated in the listing only 5 rooms with doubles and 1 room with twin beds which was difficult for our party. Also we had to make the beds upon on arrival which was unexpected. There are 3 bedrooms with air-conditioning but there was no sign of the hot tub advertised. A beautifully quiet location our party enjoyed using the tennis court, petanque. We had a lovely meal out at the Renaissance Restaurant in closeby Le Change. The host responds quickly to messages.

Just wonderful

What a very special place, everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Gérard went out of his way to make sure we were helped despite the language barrier. The location is perfect and peaceful, yet with easy access to supermarkets. Would definitely love to return.

Séjour avec famille et amis pour découvrir la région et profiter de tous les atouts de cette propriété qui sont nombreux : pièces de vie agréables et bien équipées, piscine, tennis (court parfaitement fonctionnel), pétanque etc. Sans oublier la situation au calme qui permet de profiter de la nature sans aucune nuisance sonore.

Beautiful 18th Century House

The house looks like it is out of a fairytale. Beautiful inside and out with quirky nooks and crannies. We all fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. Very private and off the beaten track. The pool was really nice and very welcome as it was +35 degrees when we were there. Some of the sun loungers were broken but we made do. We also asked for an extra parasol as one was not enough for 8 of us. Unfortunately the lights around the pool at night did not work due to a malfunction which was a shame. Hot tub was also lovely. The grounds are large with a really good tennis court. The teenagers played table tennis & boules every night. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery. There are tables you can eat at inside and out, we tended to eat at the long table inside where it was cooler. No condiments in the kitchen so remember to bring salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee etc. Because of the virus we ate in every night. There are super markets about a 20 minute drive away. A boulangerie in the village about 5/10 minute drive down. Bedrooms were all a good size with plenty of wardrobe space. As we were there as the heat wave hit, it was very hot at night even with keeping the shutters closed during the day. I had booked because the ad stated there was air con but there isn’t. There were 3 fans that we could use and we bought 2 more which helped. Bathrooms all good with really good water pressure in the showers. The house is fully furnished and well decorated with lovely ornaments, books, lamps, a piano, 2 TV’s, etc. A real home from home. There was a bit of a misunderstanding with the owner about paying for bed linen after we asked for a further bedroom to be unlocked At no point was this mentioned in any of the details or upon check-in so we did not pay any extra. Looking out at the stars every night and being treated with shooting stars was magical. We were all sorry to leave the house, it really was so easy to settle in to and enjoy, we loved it.

Beautiful house, peaceful location

We had a wonderful family holiday, the property was fantastic with absolutely everything we could possibly have needed and more. We were greeted on our arrival by the owners who were very welcoming and showed us around the house. Our family group ranged from ages 14 to 83 and there was something for us all to enjoy. We all loved the pool with lots of family splashing time. The tennis court, table tennis and billiard table were well used and thoroughly enjoyed. We loved our family meal sat outside each evening. The garden is huge with lovely trees and plants and surrounded by woods. We even saw deer! It was perfect for rest and relaxation. We also enjoyed some days out as there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. To sum up, a fantastic holiday in a beautiful house (the photographs on the website do not do this house justice) and we really hope to return for another family holiday.

Une très belle semaine aux Jangoulies.

Une semaine passée aux Jangoulies fin juin, nous étions 4 couples, 3 enfants. Le lieu est extra, au calme, la vue magnifique sur la campagne de la Dordogne. Le manoir est très agréable, fonctionnel, propre, possède de très beaux volumes même si l'on ne s'en rend pas tout fait compte sur les photos! Même lors des fortes chaleurs, on trouve toujours une terrasse au frais. Le propriétaire nous a été très sympathique et chaleureux. Nous y reviendrons sûrement!

HABITATION tres agreable dans une grande propriété qui peut garantir a chacun son petit coin. En avant-Saison, nous avons eu une meteo tres clémente: on nous a annoncé de l’eau, nous l’avons eu mais en quantité très réduite et le soleil en compensation. superbe propriété

Une semaine de vacances superbes.Cadre idyllique, calme et repos assuré.Nous étions en famille avec enfants, et tout le monde à profité de toutes les activités mises à disposition.La location dispose de tout le confort, literie plus que correcte, propreté impeccable, quant au petit et gros matériel rien ne manque. Vacances Noël 2015

Beau manoir propre et bien entretenu, idéal pour réunir une grande famille. Bien équipé : (vaisselle, lave linge......). Petits et grands ont également apprécié les espaces et les équipements extérieurs (tennis, basket ....). Le spa ajoute une note positive à cette location. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, accueillants, chaleureux et à notre écoute.

Quoi de mieux...

...qu'une telle demeure pour s'offrir des vacances à la carte. Tout le monde y a trouvé son compte. La maison offre toutes les possibilités. Du calme par l'isolement et la surface du terrain, qui assurent la tranquillité. Mais on peut aussi passer des vacances plus sportives pour ceux qui le souhaitent: Volley, basket, tennis, ping pong, pétanque, billard, baby foot. Niveau équipement de loisirs on peut difficilement faire mieux! Si on ajoute à ça le jacuzzi et la piscine chauffée (à 28° pendant notre semaine de mai!)... Les 7 chambres permettent de plus une indépendance bienvenue, ainsi que les 5 salles de bains. Les différents lieux de vie nous offrent réellement la possibilité de choisir nos moments communs, et ceux où nous souhaitions être plus indépendants. C'est un confort qu'on ne trouve pas partout, même dans les grandes maisons. Nous avons de plus beaucoup apprécié les deux terrasses (dont une couverte) permettant de bénéficier du soleil d'un côté et de l'ombre de l'autre. Les commerces boulangerie/boucherie/tabac/presse ne sont qu'à 5 minutes de voiture. La semaine fut des plus réussie, merci aux propriétaires charmants et à l'année prochaine, si notre planning nous le permet!

Un cadre idéal, une maison spacieuse,

La description laissée par le propriétaire est tout a fait précise, la maison est gigantesque, spacieuse et le parc très bien équipée: terrain de tennis, de badminton, pétanque... Les pièces de vie sont nombreuses et permettent de partir à plusieurs familles sans se marcher les uns sur les autres. L'accueil des propriétaire est très sympathique et ils ont été à notre écoute. La piscine est un peu fraîche si elle n'est pas chauffée, mais habituellement le soleil est là. C'est ce qui nous a manqué, mais là, ça n'a rien à voir avec la location! C'est une belle adresse, idéale pour les retrouvailles entre amis.

Excellent séjour dans cette très belle propriété

En vacances 3 semaines avec notre famille dans cette très grande et ravissante demeure, petits et grands ont eu beaucoup de plaisir à s'y retrouver et à partager de bons moments autour de la piscine, tennis, babyfoot ... dans un environnement calme et serein. La piscine chauffée a bien été appréciée les jours plus frais et j'ai découvert le vélo elliptique entraînée par les plus expérimentées. Quant à notre petite fille de 2 ans elle a bien profité des jeux et du matériel adaptés à son âge. Le grand parc arboré est fréquenté par toutes sortes d'animaux (lapins, oiseaux ...). La grande cuisine et les nombreuses salles de bain sont des atouts importants. Merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil si sympathique et leur réactivité à répondre à nos souhaits.

Un excellent grand week-end

Très Grande maison, idéale a 13 personnes. Surtout quand le temps est moyen, nous avons apprécié le charme et le nombre de pièces de cette maison qui nous a permis de passer un très bon week-end. En pleine nature, avec une piscine où les enfants se sont baignés, un terrain de tennis, de volley, pingpong, billard, babyfoot,...... Très bien équipé pour les petits et les grands, tout le monde en a profité. Nous avons très bien été accueillis par les propriétaires et avons passé un agréable séjour.

deux semaines de rêve

Arrivés en famille (12 personnes) dans cette magnifique propriété, nous sommes accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse par nos hôtes. Nous faisons avec eux "le tour du propriétaire" et nous découvrons avec plaisir l'ampleur de la maison, de ses dépendances et du terrain mis à notre disposition. Nous avons hâte de profiter de la piscine, du cours de tennis, du billard, etc... Nous avons investi les lieux et nous avons eu quelques fous rires, car au début, nous étions un peu perdus dans cette vaste maison. Après avoir pris nos marques, nous avons investi les lieux et nous avons usé et abusé de tous les équipements mis à notre disposition (ceux ci étaient de qualité et en grand nombre). Les voisins étant éloignés, nos soirées très animées ont pu se prolonger tard dans la nuit et nous avons pu organisé de bruyantes joutes à la piscine, faire des parties de pétanque acharnées et des chasses au trésor très disputées. Nous avons eu le privilège de profiter de la piscine également après 23h, car la température de l'eau et de l'air était encore de 30°. Bref, ces quinzes jours sous le soleil et les étoiles de Dordogne furent quinze jours au paradis pour tous les membres de notre famille, quelque soit leur âge (de 15 mois à 81 ans).
