About this property

Lovely home in Brighton sleeps 6

A spacious, 3 bedroom house sleeping up to 6 adults close to the centre of Brighton.
Located in Hanover, at the top of a hill in a friendly, desirable part of town:
15 minutes walk from Brighton Pier and the town centre.Our house can sleep up to 6 people with 1 large loft double bedroom with a superking size bed, with ensuite shower room, 1 large double bedroom with 2 single beds, one small single room with a small double bed (120cm) and and a double sofa-bed in the living room.

Downstairs we have a large living room with oak flooring and a spacious, fully-equipped, modern kitchen, with a cute little garden out the back. Upstairs is a large family bathroom with shower and bath, and a separate toilet. In the loft there is a large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, small sink and a shower - please note there is no door to that bathroom.

Our guests are welcome to make use of the facilities: free Wifi, TV with Netflix, washing machine, and the dishwasher.
Hanover is a beautiful, friendly neighborhood and just across the street is one of Brighton’s best pubs, the ‘Setting Sun’, which has spectacular views of the sea.

We are an active family with 2 daughters, loving our life in Brighton. The house has been our project for the last 10 years. We have been renovating it to our taste and have put all our love into it.
It is warm and comfortable. The kitchen is the heart of the house. It is perfect for families and friends wanting to spend time enjoying all that bohemian Brighton has to offer, but please remember this is not a party house.
Please note that the house is not "baby proofed". There's no stair gate or protection on the plug sockets.
We have friendly neighbours - babies can sometimes be heard.
Please note there's a friendly cat on the property. The house is not suitable for people with allergies.

There is parking on our road, but it is for permit-holders only. We can provide vouchers on request for £5 a day (on request)

Sehr schönes gemütliches ruhiges Haus

Ein tolles sehr sauberes Haus. Es ist alles vorhanden. Marie ist eine sehr zugewandte und aufmerksame Vermieterin, die viele nützliche Tipps gibt. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet einer Familie alle Möglichkeiten einen erholsamen Aufenthalt zu gestalten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist phantastisch. Sehr ruhig und trotzdem Citynah. Liebe Marie, einen Hinweis: Wir haben Küchenutensilien und Geschirr vorgefunden, die nicht oder nicht gut gespült waren. Wir vermuten, dass andere Mieter das dreckige Geschirr einfach in die Schubladen und Schränke gestellt haben. Etwas was nicht zu dem sonst sehr gepflegten und sauberen Haus passt. Viele Grüße auch an Prickels 🐈‍⬛

Beautiful home close to Brighton City Centre

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for the weekend last weekend. We chose the property as it was reasonably priced and close to the city centre. The house is lovely and has so much charm and character, you can tell a lot of effort has been put into making it so homely. The kitchen is a fab size with everything necessary to cook with and has a good sized dining table which was great for us. The living room is also a good size with comfy chairs and a sofa bed, which we used during our stay. Upstairs is a large master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with two twin beds. There is a bathroom with bath and shower (which was a bit tricky to use at first but fine once we worked it out) and another room with just a toilet which is handy when staying with a group. It was great to have Pickles wondering around, he is a lovely cat! The house is well positioned for a quick cab journey to the town centre (generally not more than about £6). There is a pub down the road with a nice view over Brighton but there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the centre which are more reasonably priced. We all had a great weekend and would definitely recommend to others - and I hope to stay again soon!

It was lovely to have Kate and friends stay. They were very friendly respectful and great at communicating. It sounds like they enjoyed their stay. Will recommend as possible guests.
