St André de Vezines, a small village located in the heart of the Causse Noir in the Aveyron, 13 km from the Tarn Gorges and 21 km from the Millau Viaduct, welcomes you for a peaceful holiday with family or friends.You’ll stay in a very charming traditional Causse stone house, with a slate roof and vaulted rooms, which we’ve recently renovated for your utmost comfort.
Ideally located with GR hiking trails starting right from the cottage, perfect for hikes across the Causse Noir and through the Tarn, Dourbie, and Jonte Gorges, as well as up Mount Aigoual.
Many attractions such as: Montpellier le Vieux, the Dargilan and Aven Armand Caves, the Bramabiau Abyss, the vulture sanctuary, La Couvertoirade, the Millau Viaduct, Roquefort, and more… will enhance your stay, and our beautiful region offers a wide range of activities: hiking, biking, swimming, via ferrata, skiing, canoeing, tree-top adventure courses, rock climbing, rail biking, horseback riding, paragliding, the 100 km Millau race, the Templars, and the Viaduct Race.
Bonus: We are dairy sheep farmers whose milk is collected for the production of the famous Roquefort cheese, and we offer a farm tour just 6 km away.
The rental price does not include linens, but they can be rented on-site, as can heating depending on the season. We are located at an elevation of 875 m, and heating is often needed from late September through late May or even early June.
