About this property

It is very large, fresh and always ventilated. It features wide-open outdoor spaces to have dinner. Two sleeping areas, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, have independent access on the upper floor with air-conditioning and a ceiling fan, a bathroom with a shower and a terrace. There is also another bedroom on the ground floor with a bathroom. Overall, it has five bedrooms and four bathrooms with showers. In our house, nobody sleeps in the living room! Wonderful October in Salento, we will leave the house open for visitors! Amazing prices for minimum two weeks in October. Just ask for an offer! It is very well furnished, and it includes a burglar alarm system and private security. It is located close to Portoselvaggio.

I am a lateen and ancient sailing enthusiast. I started and manage the ancient sailing museum, "Museo dell'Antica Marineria" of Porto Tricase with the Magna Grecia Mare association. I have designed and created books for over 30 years; I work in the publishing and communication industry, particularly in the food and wine sector.

Salento is my grandparents’ and my father’s homeland. Since I was a child, I have spent my holidays here. I built this house with enthusiasm and passion; it was planned for my family´s holidays and for my daughters. Now that my daughters have grown up, we are happy to rent the house to anyone who wants to discover the Salento area in one of the most beautiful seaside villages of the coast: the exclusive Santa Caterina and Porto Selvaggio.

What makes this property unique

There is the possibility to go lateen sailing on Rosa Maria, an ancient and unique Feluca, which is a typical 1959 Sorrento boat. The boat is moored to the Tricase harbour 40 minutes away from Santa Caterina, on the east coast.
