Wolf stove with four burners large grill and double oven in Gourmet kitchen with Granite counter tops. Living room features include real wood stove with wood supplied. 65' smart flat screen TV with high speed internet Roku device or smart TV with cable in each bedroom and LR. Flexibility of sleeping arrangements for six persons. Bedroom 1 has a new king, and a single bed, Bedroom 2 has one queen bed and sleep number king bed. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and office desk. TV's in sleeping areas and living room with high speed cable. Beautiful setting with off street parking. On the Upper Truckee River. Back yard has extra large fenced area for a dogs and kids. BBQ and Hot tub is on back deck overlooking Forest. Seasonal tables, chairs by the chalet, river and on meadow. Hiking, walking, biking, trails from the property. Casinos featuring 24 hour entertainment, shows and gambling. Heavenly has new adventure park for summer featuring a zip line, climbing, gondola ride all sorts of outdoor fun for all ages. Tahoe Paradise park great for kids is $5 per day for parking or walk in. Endless bike trails throughout the area. 15 minutes to Tahoe beaches. Beautiful waterfalls from house only short hike away. Located in a peaceful quiet area of town. Recreation central. 21 minutes to Heavenly 34 minutes to Kirkwood and 21 minutes to Sierra. Sledding for littles out back little bigger at Meyer’s and Echo. And tubing at ski resorts.

This quiet riverfront chalet was a perfect nature retreat with a peaceful creek right in the backyard. The house was spotless, excellently arranged, and provided ample space. Our dog loved exploring the creek. Host was incredibly responsive throughout our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer—highly recommend this beautiful spot.

We had to reschedule our trip due to adverse weather conditions. The host was super helpful in rescheduling us. The house was perfect for our family of 6. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved all the open space in the back. We were able to sled and build snowman without leaving the house. Great stay!

The view from one of the bedrooms is exquisite. Snow covered redwoods! Debbie was extremely communicative. The hot tub was soothing on our muscle-fatigued ski legs! The kitchen is well appointed with kitchen supplies and everything you need to make meals. A very nice stay!

We are leaving this review to warn future guests about the experience we had with this host - following our stay, the host claimed we soiled a mattress and immediately charged us 433 for a full replacement. This claim is entirely baseless for two reasons: 1) our group consisted of three children who are 10 and 11 and for these kids the days of any bed-related accidents are long gone, 2) we didn't have any soiled underwear/pants to deal with during our entire stay - it's entirely possible this was a pre-existing condition which is forced upon us without any due diligence and investigation and charging us without any prior communication in an attempt to clarify the situation is deeply concerning. We hope future guests would consider our experience before committing to stay here

We strive to ensure a 5-star experience at the river chalet. Upon checkout the guest wrote “he appreciated the well maintained house and had a good time”. Unfortunately, there was accidental damage caused during the stay that the guest may or may not be aware of. I would like to clarify that this is not a pre-existing condition. My cleaning crew sent pictures and I forwarded them to the guest. The cleaners informed me I would need to replace the new mattress which I am. I am sorry you disagree with the assessment. We exchanged several texts. In a further an effort to communicate I asked what time would be best to call you tomorrow and he texted “tomorrow is too late” I will leave you a bad review. I understand accidents happen sorry we could not talk as I am very compassionate.

Lovely stay!

My partner and I stayed here with our dog. We loved the hot tub, fenced yard for our dog, and creek area. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped for cooking and all our other needs.

Wonderful Family Friendly Cabin

This cabin is tucked away in the best spot, close enough to enjoy all Lake Tahoe has to offer with the feeling of a perfect mountain escape. The hot tub was delightful after a long day enjoying all the beautiful scenic hikes within minutes of the cabin and surrounding the lake. The host is kind and helpful and very responsive. We will be back for sure!

Spring waterfall trails. Mountain and road biking Mecca too. Very dog friendly property with fenced areas for your four legged friend to get out and enjoy. Perhaps they would like a swim in the RIVER. Kick back and enjoy the mountain views.
