Living room features include real wood stove with wood supplied. 65' smart flat screen TV with high speed internet Roku device or smart TV with cable in each bedroom and LR. Flexibility of sleeping arrangements for six persons. Bedroom 1 has a new king, and a single bed, Bedroom 2 has one queen bed and sleep number king bed. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and office desk. TV's in sleeping areas and living room with high speed cable. Beautiful setting with off street parking. On the Upper Truckee River. Back yard has extra large fenced area for a dogs and kids. BBQ and Hot tub is on back deck overlooking Forest. Seasonal tables, chairs by the chalet, river and on meadow. Hiking, walking, biking, trails from the property. Casinos featuring 24 hour entertainment, shows and gambling. Heavenly has new adventure park for summer featuring a zip line, climbing, gondola ride all sorts of outdoor fun for all ages. Tahoe Paradise park great for kids is $5 per day for parking or walk in. Endless bike trails throughout the area. 15 minutes to Tahoe beaches. Beautiful waterfalls from house only short hike away. Located in a peaceful quiet area of town. Recreation central. 21 minutes to Heavenly 34 minutes to Kirkwood and 21 minutes to Sierra. Sledding for littles out back little bigger at Meyer’s and Echo. And tubing at ski resorts.

We had to reschedule our trip due to adverse weather conditions. The host was super helpful in rescheduling us. The house was perfect for our family of 6. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved all the open space in the back. We were able to sled and build snowman without leaving the house. Great stay!

The view from one of the bedrooms is exquisite. Snow covered redwoods! Debbie was extremely communicative. The hot tub was soothing on our muscle-fatigued ski legs! The kitchen is well appointed with kitchen supplies and everything you need to make meals. A very nice stay!

Lovely stay!

My partner and I stayed here with our dog. We loved the hot tub, fenced yard for our dog, and creek area. The house was very comfortable and well-equipped for cooking and all our other needs.

Wonderful Family Friendly Cabin

This cabin is tucked away in the best spot, close enough to enjoy all Lake Tahoe has to offer with the feeling of a perfect mountain escape. The hot tub was delightful after a long day enjoying all the beautiful scenic hikes within minutes of the cabin and surrounding the lake. The host is kind and helpful and very responsive. We will be back for sure!

Well thought out and very dog friendly

The kitchen is well stocked. There are dog beds and a fence backyard. The location in Christmas valley in Meyers is great, but a little farther off 89 than we realized. Still less than 15 minutes to some popular Backcountry skiing spots.

Wonderful Time

We had such a wonderful stay! The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was clean. We brought our 3 and 5 year old and the property was magical! Sleds were provided where we could play in the backyard and slide down hills! We were able to have snowball fights and build snowmen! The location was perfect because it was about 5 minutes to some restaurants and coffee shops!

Dog friendly, great location

Took my niece for a quick hiking getaway - This house is perfectly located and - best of all for us - dog friendly. Fully fenced yard for the puppers to run and play and some excellent scenic walking right around the house as well - Nice to be away from more touristy and trafficked Tahoe but close enough to easily drive. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

4 Day Getaway

We had a great stay at the property. It had everything we needed to get some comfortable rest and daily hiking. Made breakfast daily and not too far from some restaurants up the road. Spent the first snowy evening in the hot tub and hiked locally the first day. Took a short drive to Fallen Leaf Lake where we hiked the next day. The mountain venue is spectacular!

Spring waterfall trails. Mountain and road biking Mecca too. Very dog friendly property with fenced areas for your four legged friend to get out and enjoy. Perhaps they would like a swim in the RIVER. Kick back and enjoy the mountain views.
