We really enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s cozy cabin. It felt like we were invited to a friend’s home. The proximity to Kirkwood was perfect for us and while we didn’t do a ton of cooking, the kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clearly explained and my only regret is not writing a note in the travel book left for guests. It’s been a long time since we’ve stayed in a vacation rental that truly felt like home. Thank you and we can’t wait to return.

Residents of Tahoe for 40 years. Delighted to share what we love about Tahoe to visitors. Happy to help you navigate the local area, and anxious to answer all your questions about the Tahoe, Carson, Virginia City and Reno attractions that you may want to visit during your holiday

Why they chose this property

We chose this house for the location! Quiet neighborhood, away from the crowds. But minutes from all the activities that visitors come here for, and that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. About 20 minutes from downtown South Lake Tahoe. Grocery shopping 5 minutes from the cabin. Close to ski resorts, Sierra, Kirkwood, and Heavenly. Cross country skiing out your door. This is ideally a perfect couples getaway close to many outdoor activities. Very popular in summer for hiking and biking enthusiasts because of the back country roads and trail access. Perfect location for the Death Ride. About 15 minutes to Echo Lake.

What makes this property unique

Quiet forested cabin in residential neighborhood featuring a large yard and lawn, natural wild life, mountain views, the Truckee river, convenient access to the back country hiking, cross country skiing, biking trails, ski resorts, and lakes and the beautiful outdoor spaces that Tahoe is known for.
