The villa lies in a still uncontaminated place: the silhouette delimiting the Marine Protected Area Penisola del Sinis – Isola di Mal di Ventre towards the hinterland is characterized by a coast with precious and, in some cases, unique environmental situations and landscapes. In the lower stretches of the coast there are beaches of rare beauty made of sand and quartz fragments; in the upper parts, imposing cliffs overhanging the sea work as viewpoints towards the opposite Island of Mal di Ventre, in the North, and the Scoglio del Catalano, in the South. This stretch of Sardegna is unique for the extraordinary sensation of continuity between earth and sea it provides. Our Villa borders the protected natural area of Sale ‘e Porcus (where you can see, from may to november, pink flamingo, ardea cinerea and other species) and the recently founded Sinis-isola di Mal di Ventre natural sea-park. It takes about 5 minutes by car to the well-known Is Arutas quartz beach and to Capu Mannu, the best place in Italy for surfers and wind-surfers. San Giovanni del Sinis archaeological site and the ruins of Tharros – a phoenician-punic town – are nearby. Furthermore the beautiful fields of Is Arenas Golf Club are only 10 kms away. Whether you’re looking for sports or peace and stillness, you’ll find in a position for both all year round, in the complete intactness of our nature.
