We are located between Trastevere and Testaccio, two of the most characteristic and lively areas of Rome.
The apartment is located in a side street Portuense, not overlooking the busy streets and is very quiet.
It is WELL CONNECTED BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT to the historic center and other areas of Rome (for example: the main monuments and tourist attractions can be reached by tram N.8 that runs through Viale Trastevere and then get to Largo Argentina and Piazza Venezia).
From Trastevere train station is a few minutes walk.
It is therefore an excellent starting point to visit our beautiful city.
Rome is a city with a historical center very large, it made up of many parts. Our apartment is located between two districts historically "popular".
TRASTEVERE is renowned for its services and its tourism. Offers typical corners with a wide choice of cafes, bars and restaurants where you can stop in a relaxed and pleasant.
TESTACCIO is now considered one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the capital: authentic, alternative, frequented by artists, rich in small theaters, art galleries and cultural events. A district made to enjoy life and the Roman night.
Trastevere and Testaccio not pose any risk in terms of personal safety.
The house is VERY WELL CONNECTED BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: the Trastevere train station (with trains to Fiumicino Airport to St. Peter and the Tiburtina station) is very close and within walking distance, as well as trams and buses links that take in the historic center of Rome (Largo Argentina and Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum, St. Peter) and the most important points of the city.
Nearby are SUPERMARKETS AND SHOPS of various kinds. For shopping, is a popular area of Viale Marconi, within walking distance (cross the railway bridge tunnel).
A few minutes walk across the bridge over the Tiber, TESTACCIO is reached, another very characteristic district, with its shops, restaurants and clubs. There is the Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome (MACRO).
Every Sunday morning, takes place in the HISTORIC DISTRICT MARKET "Porta Portese".
EATALY (Piazzale XII in October 1492) for those who love to immerse themselves in the taste of Italian cuisine is just one train stop from Trastevere Station.
