Villa is in a fantastic location for the marina and the beach, and lots of shops and restaurants. The property is lacking a few bits, there aren’t enough cups etc and it’s a little tired but compared to other options this is excellent value for money. Heinke was very responsive whenever we needed help.

We enjoyed our week here. It was a great property and location. We have some comments that are not criticisms but would improve the overall experience.1. The grass needs cutting by the pool2. There needs to be more mugs etc as this is a property for 8 people and there was only enough for 43. There needs to be some hooks in the bathrooms for towels/clothes4. Some drawers in all bedrooms would be useful 5. Mirrors in the bedrooms 6. A bin in every bathroom 7. The downstairs patio doors do not lock

Great location

Villa Encina was an ideal place to stay ,close to the resort centre, plenty of room for a family . Pool area was good , even though we had a patio canopy to use when it got too hot , a couple of sun umbrellas around the sunbeds would be perfect

Perfect family place to stay

Great place to stay with young family. Villa just as described. Very clean & great size. There were 5 adults and a 2 year old in our party. Easy walking to the marina & beach. Plenty of shops & restaurants close by. Outside BBQ was a bonus.

The location is excellent.However do not rely upon the photographs as a true representation of what is at the property.The quality sofa shown has been replaced by a poor quality sofa which is stained and has throws placed on it to cover these .The outside sofa has been replaced with similar low quality single sofa which is stained.Sun beds are broken .Any party of more than 4 will find insufficient sun beds that are usable. They also have no cushions.Pool towels are not provided but this is not stated.The villa was staged for photos, most lamps and other items shown are not at the property.This is misleading.We are experienced travellers who spend a lot of time researching the location and the choice of property that suits our needs .If we are unable to rely upon the host’s information and photos then we have little chance of choosing suitable accommodation .Some of the photos attached show the actual furniture as opposed to what is shown on the website

Enjoyed our stay

I stayed with my family, 6 adults and my young grandchild for a week in mid September. The property is in an excellent location, quiet neighbourhood and just a short walk to beach/shops/water park/marina etc. The property itself had just about everything we needed for the week and the pool was great......we could alternate between relaxing days at the villa & exploring different places. The property was well equipped and spotlessly clean ......there were not enough cups or glasses for a family of six and some plates were chipped but one can expect that at the end of a season. Not a criticism but just an issue that bothered us was that it would have be helpful to have an information booklet to show where rubbish/recycling could be disposed and some information on local amenities .Overall we enjoyed the property and would consider returning to the resort

Nice house...in a Noisy neighborhood

Just talking about the house itself, we were really happy wth it. Confortable and conform to the description of the add. The only bad surprise was the neighborhood. In between 2 huge Hotel comnplex, we suffered from the noise they make all day long and untill 11:00 pm at night...that was really bothwering us. Also the proximity of the Go Kart ( in the back of the yard ) add even more noise. Not the place to rest and enjoy a calm evening.

Property was as advertised,clean and had everything we needed.nice peaceful location.easy check in.we had a lovely weeks stay,our son especially enjoyed the swimming pool and we made use of it everyday.kitchen was well equipped,with fridge,freezer,dishwasher,washing machine,coffee machine ,and all your cutlery and plates.easy walk to a selection of bars,restaurants and shops down at the marina.i have a feeling we will return to this villa again in the future.our first villa experience and we really enjoyed it.it was lovely sitting outside of an evening by the pool and enjoying peace and quiet.when we went at the end of october all the restaurants were starting to shut down for the year,but we ate out a few nights and all food was nice.a pleasant stay.

Villa Encina

The Villa is well situated within five mins of Supermarkets and bus stops to Ciutudella (well worth a visit) it's also less than ten mins from the great selection of restaurants, gift shops and a beautiful white sand beach with turquoise sea in the marina. Menorca is beautiful! the Villa Encina has front and rear sun trap gardens, the pool was perfect and cleaned by an extremely friendly gardener who kept the gardens in check whilst we stayed. Inside the Villa are polished tiled floors a little slippery when wet please be aware...there is plenty of storage and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Take more of your own towels as one set is supplied but quickly used by a large group. One thing to note about the villa if you go early in the season is that the shutters on the doors and windows are difficult to open and close at first possibly in need of some grease, the Internal doors to the front of the villa do not lock so for peace of mind we cable tied the front shutters at night a silly issue that didn't ruin the stay at all but could do with a fix. Frederico and Heike were both lovely and super helpful when needed. Well worth a stay

Lovely clean and comfortable property with clean pool, which was well needed as was VERY hot! Kitchen was well equipped and layout of bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal. Air conditioning in bedrooms was very much appreciated.Around 10 mins walk to waterpark, 10 mins to harbour and 15/20 to beach. Ideally situated for our needs. Lots of restaurants serving lovely food in harbour and several shops and supermarkets nearby.Check in process very easy and great communications from host.

Maison très bien située, facile d’accès, piscine très agréable.Nous avons rencontré un problème technique dès notre arrivée le samedi (pompe pression de l’eau HS).Notre interlocutrice sur place, Heke, a été très réactive et disponible. Toutefois, la panne n’a pu être réglée par le technicien que le mardi.Malgré cet incident, nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce logement.

Part of 8 family adults. The Property was very well located to walk to Marina and beach roughly 5 -10mins also well located for the local supermarket. The Kitchen well equipped everything you could need. Some of the garden furniture was broken and could do with being replaced Extra pillows would have been helpful only one pillow per bed. Chalet muy bien situado,a 5 minutos a pie del puerto deportivo y su zona de ocio,y a 10 minutos de Cala'n Bosch ideal para bañarse.A 20/30 minutos de la playa de Son Xoriguer.Lo que la hace tener una ubicación excelente. La casa es tal cual o mejor de lo que pone en las fotos.Piscina ideal y un jardín trasero que es una delicia para desayunos y cenas . Bien equipada para 6 personas. Zona tranquila.

La estancia a sido buena. La casa es amplia y la zona me ha gustado mucho muy tranquila, barbacoa bien, cocina bien. La única cosa entre comillas mala, fue que llegue a la casa y la piscina tenia moho y no pude disfrutarla hasta el día siguiente. Muchas gracias a Heide Schmid por la preocupación y la solución rápida. De ahí mi motivo por las 4 estrellas y no 5.
