Far from the maddening crowds of the eastern side of 30A, Journey’s End is popular among the guests of South Walton who prefer the tranquil side of 30A on Dune Allen Beach. Convenient to the Scenic 30A bike trail, Journey's End is located just down the street from Stinky's Fish Camp and is close to the boutiques and restaurants of Gulf Place, as well as to the amazing nature trails of Topsail. Pros: .Beautiful view .Great location in the “quiet end” of 30A .Well-appointed kitchen .Comfortable sitting area with lamps (you’d be surprised how many places don’t have lamps for reading). Cons: .Dirty rusted luggage carrier .Ratty welcome mat. .Bowling alley hallway with worn rugs .Disgusting bathtubs .Doesn’t feel clean because it is old and dated .Controls on dishwasher are worn off such that you have to guess at setting the cycles .Old washer and dryer Way over-priced for the condition it’s in. Great potential for someone who wants to make it worthy of its location.

Check-in left a lot to be desired.

Was given the wrong condo...and code to get in. Had to call emergency number for help while just purchased groceries and I had to wait for a call back. Checkout info was conflicted...email directions and directions on realty were not the same.

Journey's End

Great location, easily accessible to and from all the fun things there are to see and do along 30-A without being surrounded by all the congestion in Seaside. A quick 10 minute drive to the restaurants and shopping at Grand Boulevard and the Outlet Mall in Sandestin. Quiet, clean and well appointed accommodations on the beach with elevator access to this comfortable third floor unit with beautiful beach views and convenient stairway to the beach - loved it - would definitely return.

Perfect week

We made the visit for a relaxing week and that is exactly what we got! Unit had plenty of room and was well suited to the three of us. Nice and quiet. Plenty of "stuff" in the kitchen to keep us happy in our cooking experiences. We live on a beach at home but still loved the beautiful sand and perfect water. We will return!
