Quiet and secluded, yet still close to the action (one mile from Glacier National Park), this lovely West Glacier chalet is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the unspoiled beauty of northwest Montana. The chalet has a deck with incredible views of the mountains and a BBQ grill. The high vaulted ceilings, granite counter tops, and stainless steel modern appliances make this vacation rental an ideal home-away-from-home, while being connected to Glacier Park via a bike path.
This chalet has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, one bathroom, a full kitchen and open dining area plus a loft. Washer and dryer are located downstairs. 1) Respect quiet hours between 9 pm and 8 am. 2) Please treat this like your home and keep floors, windows and counters clean throughout your stay. 3) No parties or events 4) Put nothing other than toilet paper in toilets...we have a very sensitive system that will backup if clogged. 5) No beer pong 6) No incense or candles please and thank you. 7) Parties or any event allowing more persons than those renting the house allowed only with written approval from homeowner and may come at an additional expense. No one outside of the people staying are allowed without prior approval, and no more than 2 vehicles allowed (unless specified). Sadly, several renters have used my house as a party place resulting in broken items, additional cleaning and outright disrespect. If you have plans for anyone else visiting, please inquire and provide details.

Really liked the chalet, awesome location, a mile to glacier national park, beautiful, quiet area with beautiful view of mountain. Nice large open main living floor, Would have given 5 star but would have preferred to have a television in main living area
This is such a great location for Glacier National Park! There was plenty of room to spread out and our teenage son had the whole basement to himself! Highly recommend this Rental!
We were there for the occasion of my son's wedding and it was perfect! The chalet was clean and comfortable and included all we needed to settle in. Detailed information sheets were so helpful. We highly recommend the Chalet's at Going to The Sun!!
Great location to all things on West side of Glacier National Park. The house was clean and just as described. We especially appreciated a good basic supply of things like detergent, dishwashing soap, and basic kitchen things. Could use more flatware in the kitchen btw
We loved staying in this chalet! It’s very close to the Glacier National Park entrance. The views around the Chalet are beautiful. It was clean and very cozy!
Beautiful townhouse super nice and close to Glacier Park main entrance. It was very quiet when we stayed in the beginning of September. Very well appointed..we would certainly stay here again!
An absolutely stunning location situated just outside of the West Glacier entrance. Clean, cozy and a perfect home away from home! We loved every moment.
Chalet was perfect for our little trip to see the beautiful sights of the mountains …. Just wish the weather would have cooperated …. But still enjoyed our time and the chalet was just perfect !
If you’re planning to spend any time on the east side of Glacier National Park, this is the place! There are only 5 chalets here so it’s really quiet and peaceful. All the amenities you’ll need for your home away from home. The host was outstanding!

Thank you for your great review and letting us know you meant the "west side" of Glacier : ).
The property is beautiful. The chalet was spotless and well appointed. Most importantly the property manager has gone above and beyond to accommodate us with our ever changing travel plans. She has been a gem. I highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
Great for a family of 4-5. Lots of space, kitchen, laundry! Excellent location close to entrance of West Glacier and very near to white water rafting options. Would recommend updating some of the kitchen items (lots of wear and tear/chips on plates, bowls).

Thank you for the info! We will inventory and update pots/pans, dishes, etc before the upcoming season. Cheers!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet! It was beautiful, quiet and conveniently Located close to the West park entrance. Having a grill was great and full kitchen was a plus. Beds were comfortable. The host answered all questioned quickly prior to our arrival and communication for contactless entry was very well written for arrival.
Great experience beautiful chalet!
We (2 adults) stayed 3 nights at Going to the Sun Chalet. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We bought groceries in Columbia Falls and Hungry Horse and had everything we needed to make simple meals at home. The house also had a washer and dryer, which we ended up using.
The property is a 10-minute drive to Glacier National Park's west entrance and a 20-minute drive to Columbia Falls. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.
Everything was great. We pretty much just slept there and left. One thing I would had been a little happier about is having more blankets available. We had 6 people, but 3 of them were kids who don’t want to sleep together. There were no extra blanket’s or pillows available. It obviously doesn’t change my rating, it is just a suggestion.
My wife and I stayed for 4 nights to visit Glacier National Park for our anniversary. The chalet is perfectly located near the park. The only issues I had were as follows. First the downstairs patio door had no curtain ( it appeared the door had been repaired and they didn’t get the curtains back up) secondly the kitchen was scarcely furnished ( the pot holder had a hole in it making using the oven hard to use and their wasn’t much of normal amenities salt/pepper, plastic wrap etc). We had a great experience so these little things did not distract
