Fabulous villa situated on a hill in the Tuscan countryside near Montalcino. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, it is the most suitable place to spend a holiday of peace and tranquility. Near the medieval village of Camigliano, distinctive with its ancient church and square. You can request to visit the wine cellar of Camigliano for tasting the prized Brunello. The villa with swimming pool has been recently renovated.
The farmhouse is on two floors. On the ground floor there is a large living room with entrance and piano, the kitchen and a large games room with a sofa bed.
There is also the fifth small service room and a bathroom.
On the first floor there is the living room with fireplace, 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. In addition to the suggestive swimming pool, it is possible to rent bicycles to visit the surrounding countryside.

The trip of a lifetime!!!!

The villa was beautiful and well appointed. We loved our experience! We had a problem with the gas stove not being turned on, but were able to get it taken care of right away. The area is beautiful and the pool was gorgeous. It was the perfect place for us to be to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and taste a lot of wonderful Brunello wines!!

An amazing stay, a great house and great location!

4 adults and 4 kids - This was the perfect house! Games room was a massive hit with the kids (and so handy in when the mid afternoon sun beat down) and the pool was a really decent size and lovely and fresh, for those of us who handled the heat and sunbathed all day!! The downstairs single room was perfect for my mother, an older lady with less mobility and all rooms were large and spacious - larger than they seem in the photos! It was very well equipped. Silvia was always contactable and super helpful with queries we had. The villa is in a great location! It’s so quiet and peaceful at the house that you feel like you are away from everything but it is only a short drive from a well stocked and pretty hilltop town of Montalcino for all things you might need. The local village of Camiliagno was only a 10 min walk and its Osteria was amazing! A great Italian experience - fantastic food and wine! Loads of vineyards in the area where you can buy direct. Tuscany is beautiful and this place really lets you appreciate that! We took trips to Montepulciano and Siena both only about an hour by car. Would definitely return...if she has space as we’ve already recommended to lots of family and friends!! Thank you Silvia!!

Das Toskana-Traumhaus

Was für ein phantastisches Haus! Es ist zwar nicht "romantisch" eingewachsen, dafür ermöglicht es mit seiner Hügellage (wie wir es uns immer gewünscht haben, "ein Haus auf dem Hügel in der Toskana!") einen unverstellten 360°-Blick in eine wundervolle Landschaft. Die durch den nahe gelegenen Obronefluss gebildete Schleife macht aus dem Gebiet eine geographische Sackgasse, so dass auch wirklich wenig los ist. Und dann das Haus: bestens ausgestattet und vor allem: sehr viel Platz! Für unsere Kinder optimal zeigte sich der große Freizeitraum im Erdgeschoss, oder wohl eher als "Halle" zu bezeichnen. Die Photos im Online-Inserat geben die Größe, die Schönheit und die gute Ausstattung des Hauses übrigens nicht sehr vorteilhaft wieder, da wird man angenehm überrascht sein. Und um die Frage, die wir uns stellten, zu beantworten: Ja, es gibt eine überdachte Terrasse! Und wenn man den Carport, wie wir es machten, umfunktioniert, hat man sogar noch eine zweite mit noch besserem Ausblick. Der Pool ist eine Wucht! Das Haus gehört zum nahe gelegenen Weingut in Camigliano, daher gibt es auch keine Zäune oder Mauern drum herum, was für die Seele auch gut ist! Die Betreuung im Vorhinein durch die Vermieterin war sehr gut, das Willkommen sehr herzlich, besonders wenn man an das Innere des Kühlschrankes zurückdenkt! Montalcino liegt 15 Autominuten entfernt. Mit dem Fahrrad... vergessen wir das besser, die Steigungen sind saftig. Besonders zu erwähnen ist noch die kleine Osteria im Ort mit ihren sehr italienisch-herzlichen Wirten! Also alles in allem: 5 Sterne deluxe!

A beautiful place to spend a special week

We spent a wonderful week in Podere Bellaria with great friends celebrating a retirement and a birthday. The villa is located on a hilltop about a mile from the tiny village of Camigliano. There are fantastic views all around across vineyards, olive groves and cornfields. About 15 mins drive to Montalcino, centre of the Brunello wine region. The villa is fantastic. Spacious, great facilities - showers etc were excellent. The large kitchen is very well equipped and throughout, the villa was immaculately clean and tidy when we arrived. The pool was lovely and the outside dining area was a great place to spend long evenings with friends or family. The osteria di Galetto is a lovely little family run restaurant in Camigliano, about 15mins walk from the villa. Not cheap, but very friendly and good food/wine. Loads of great eateries and shops within about 15mins by car. The Co-op in Montalcino is well stocked for drinks, groceries etc. Overall, a perfect way to spend relaxing times in Tuscany.

Prepared to be wowed by this amazing house in a stunning location.

We enjoyed a fantastic week in Montalcino from 28th July until 4th August 2018. as a big family of 6, with 3 children aged 10 months, 8 and 15 years we enjoyed plenty of space in this magnificent house. Silvia left us a welcoming basket of her own fruit and vegetables and a lovely bottle of Montalcino wine. It was extremely hot but with fans and mosquito nets on the window, sleeping was not an issue. If sitting outside in the evening don't forget to have some mosquito repellent. The house is spread out and enormous. The pictures do not convey the space that can be enjoyed and used. The games room is huge with table tennis, a table football machine and a boxing area. We had lots of fun times. In addition on the 1st floor balcony is a TV area with comfy sofas where you can play playstation or watch DVDs. Also there is a large selection of board games and puzzles. Wifi is available could be stronger with so many of us using it! The kitchen can seat 12 people and is extremely well stocked for home cooking. More plastic glasses for the pool area would be useful. The views from this house are wonderful and sitting at the pool absorbing the Tuscany scenery is pure heaven. You do feel that you are completely alone except within a 10 minute walk is the sleepy village of Camiigliano and for more excitement a 15 minutes drive away is the beautiful town of Montalcino. There is a great COOP/Supermarket catering for all your needs located there. There are many little shops and restaurants to visit. The pool is just the best and the pool man comes every morning to make sure all is well. The property is located on a vineyard and we did the highly recommendable brunch wine tour. Not to be missed!!! Also in the village is an Osteria. We went one evening. The views were spectacular and the food amazing. We did a lot of sight seeing. Most places were about one hour away and Rome is 2.5 hours away. Would recommend an over night stay. Silvia was a great hostess and was very helpful via WhatsApp. I would strongly recommend this beautiful house.

Great house, great environment - would defintely book it again

We stayed for one week in this beautiful and recently renovated house with two families, 4 adults, 4 kids (15, 15, 13 & 11 years old). What can I say other then it fully matched our expectations. The house was even bigger, better facilitated and located then expected. The private pool is nice and clean and well maintained by the gardener every morning. It gives a perfect view at the picturesque Tuscany hills, vineyards and olive trees. Due to lights it can be used at night as well. The huge game room with table tennis, table football and archery was a big favourite with the kids and we played many competitions. The kitchen is big and well equipped with a large fridge and excellent coffee machine. A large and comfortable table to enjoy nice meals with great company. The bedrooms are spacious, beds and matrasses are of good quality. During our stay, mid August, it was extremely hot (35 to 40 degrees). Having no airco in the bedroom made the nights a bit short. Additional fans were promptly provided by the owner at our request. For bakery and supermarket you need to drive to Montalcino (10km, 10 minutes drive). In Montalcino there are a large variety (in price, quality and service) of restaurants. The best diner experience we had in Camigliano. Only 500 meters from the residence in Osteria del Galletto. Great food, for a good price and unprecedented hospitality. I would advise to go there at the beginning of your stay, so you have the chance to go there again. We visited a number of small authentic Tuscany villages (30 to 40 minutes drive) and Siena (ca 1 hr). Tuscany is a great and large area. The house is a bit remote but a perfect place to relax and fully enjoy all the beautiful things that Italy and Tuscany has to offer. A fabulous property in a stunning location.

We spent two fabulous weeks in the VIlla and thoroughly enjoyed the stunning location, the impressive views and the fantastic pool. The pool was a perfect size for my 17, 12 & 10 year olds, myself and my wife to play "catch", to swim and to dive into and the depth was great (my 12 yr old was able to walk the full length). The sun loungers were comfy but the location, based on top of a hill within the Tuscan HIlls was so picture perfect, we must have taken one hundred pictures. The pool was also lit, so night time games were also enjoyed. Even tho the pool is right next to the house, the house also has a fantastic courtyard, which allowed us to also opt to sunbathe right next to the kitchen (cool drinks, ice cream and the odd beer),,! Wifi in the house was good (we are a mobile /social media hungry family), TV had a number of sports channels and the Playstation came in handy (especially to play DVD movies). The kitchen was very well equiped, the bedrooms were huge but for us, the table tennis table, the football table, swing ball, boxing bag and...the indoor Archery in the massive games room were brilliant...! We loved the peace, we loved the serenity and we found lots of countryside walks and nature around. The villa was perfect to visit Montalicino (15mins in the car) a beautiful town (with a great supermarket), but we also went to Siena (an hour) and indeed Florence (2hrs),a great base in Tuscany. Would I recommend renting this villa,,,only one answer,,,,,Yes..,!
