The perfect apartment!

My family loved the Interlaken stretch of our trip and the accommodations were the perfect fit. Beautifully decorated, convenient location, gracious hosts and a view you can only get in Switzerland!

The host was amazing and super communicative and let us check in early! She even came and showed us around the apartment and gave us a lot of tips for travel in the area.The apartment was very nice and well furnished and perfectly located for all the activities we wanted to do! The laundry and kitchen was a huge bonus for us - we didn’t have quite enough to use the common sauna and game room with all our activities, but would gladly go back to experience those as well!

Perfect as a central location for exploring the surrounding areas (Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, etc) and walkable to either (Interlaken Ost or Interlaken West) train station, restaurants, and shopping. The apartment is very comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and nicer than the photos depict. Kashi was extremely helpful by providing detailed recommendations on places to go based on our interests. The online guidebook was very helpful too.

Fab apartment

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment in Interlaken. Our hosts were very kind and helped us understand the local transport system (which you really do need to get to grips with in order to ensure best value!) The apartment was very comfortable, extremely well appointed and in a great location. It is situated a few hundred metres away from a supermarket, which being self catering was essential. It’s also close to the town, train stations & bus stops, making expeditions up the mountain easy. It was great to be able to get back to the accommodation quickly at the end of a long day. The kids loved the views, particularly from the balcony. A brilliant apartment at a fair price, would definitely recommend.

Great apartment.

The location was great. great living space to hang out in. Beds comfy. Great having 2 bathrooms. Great balcony as well Hosts fantastic. Probably the best VRBO we have stayed at!

Quiet get away

The property was clean with a one bus stop directly in front of the apartment and another a short walk away. The train station (Ost) was about a 15-20 minute easy walk depending on how tired you are from your daily activities. It was quiet had a lovely sunset views from the windows. There were a few restaurants within 5 minutes (highly recommend Hopplá Bistro). Communication was lovely, the small elevator was a bonus. It was pretty hot while we were there but the fans were perfect and the building stayed cool.

Interlaken Gem

Beautiful property in a centralized location in Interlaken, very close to multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and within walking distance of both train stations. House is immaculate and well-appointed. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous apartment.

The best equipped property we've ever stayed in. Exactly as described- a short walk from the town centre, but with a bus stopping directly outside if needed. Spectacular mountain views all around. Definitely recommend

Brand new, and wonderful! We loved the accommodations.

Our hosts were phenomenal! They live downstairs, and were very invested in making sure we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. They helped us plan activities and find things to do. We'd give them more than 5 stars if possible! Hope to come back!

Great place

The entire experience at the apartment in Interlaken was great! The apartment was perfect for everyone to have their own space. It was extremely neat and had everything we needed. It was also located directly across from a bus stop if you prefer to take a bus and only a 15 minute walk from the main food and shops in Interlaken and just a short few minute walk to a grocery store. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. Our crew used the hot tub several evenings which was extremely relaxing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic Property in Interlaken

I stayed with my family for four nights in this beautiful property. The check-in process was easy and the responsiveness from the hosts was fantastic. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice to have a bus stop right out the front door. Our only complaint was not having blackout curtains on the windows. The sun was bright very early in the morning. Great stay and I highly recommend this apartment.

Special apartment in great location

The apartment really is fantastic and a great base for exploring Interlaken and beyond. The accommodation is stylish, spacious, extremely comfortable and clean. The portable AC fans worked well and, although the road is quite busy, it was very quiet at night. The balcony with mountain views was fab. Bus stops right outside the apartment for the railway stations as well as neighbouring towns were a plus. The hosts were extremely helpful and supportive with ideas and advice on what to do/where to go when we were so spoiled for choice. Interlaken itself was better that we expected based on reviews and we would return - especially if we could stay in this apartment.

Perfect Location, Comfortable Home, Great Host

This home is spacious, in a great location, and the host pays great attentuon to detail. It's a short bus ride from Ost and an even shorter bus ride to the West train station, and both are walkable. It's a 13 minute walk to Interlaken West. This location also saves you time if you are going to any of the moutain villages because it's a short bus ride to the Wilderswil train station, which then connects to the Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald stations (among others). There are several restaurants on the street and grocery stores you can walk to. The whole house is decorated nicely and is very comfortable, like you're at home. There's enough toilet paper, paper towels, large fluffy bath towels, clean and comfortable beds, all the kitchen utensils that you'll need, laundry detergent, and more. There isnt AC but there are fans in each room that work very well, plus the windows can be opened. My son and his friend played pool a couple nights, so that was an added perk. Cascia was friendly and extremely helpful. She spent a lot of time talking to us about our plans and giving helpful suggestions. If you're reading this you know how confusing and overwhelming planning can be, so it was an unexpected delight to get good tips, such as taking the bus to Wilderswil to save at least 30 minutes from backtracking to Interlaken Ost. I can't say enough good things about this home and the management. We were pampered and spoiled and it was worth every penny.

Quiet getaway penthouse in a nice neighborhood

Diarmund and Kashi are wonderful hosts to this lovely set of homes. We had Dep 3 which is the top floor penthouse of one of their properties. We loved having Matten as our neighborhood because it’s next to Interlaken but not in it (plus the entire region is very small so the borders don’t matter much). It felt more like a local neighborhood than Interlaken did, and everything was pretty much walkable within 15-20 min. Some things to note about the house and the Interlaken area: - the bus really is door to door from the train station to the house. However it doesn’t come as often as we had hoped so 80% of the time we walked rather than wait 20-30min for the next bus to arrive. - having W&D in the bathroom by the living room was a godsend! I had brought my own laundry detergent sheets from home so we used that instead but the hosts do provide detergent pods. They also have a drying rack so we used that throughout our stay since the dryers in EU tend to be energy efficient and thus very slow (on average 3h). - there’s a local mart called Lidl that’s a 3-4min walk from the house. Some produce are cheaper there than coop so I’d say check out both markets when in town! - wait till morning of to buy Top of Europe tickets as they’re non-refundable and we had accidentally bought 4 adult tickets the day before and we couldn’t see a thing up top due to overcast. Was still worth seeing other attractions up there but would’ve liked to see the mountain peaks themselves. live and learn!

Great gem, close to everything in Interlaken

Our family stayed here for five days as part of our 15-day Swiss vacation. We had never used VRBO before, but knew we wanted more space and togetherness for our family than a hotel room could provide. We got that space - and more - by staying here. The online VRBO photos are a very accurate representation of this modern, clean and comfortable apartment. With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a central living room/dining room area and balcony with seating, we had plenty of space to spread out, yet still be together as a family. The apartment itself is outfitted with everything you could possibly need, including a washer/dryer (great for not having to pack clothing for the entire trip). The apartment looks to have recently been renovated from top to bottom. It was also spotless - a very important consideration for us, as we are frequent travelers and picky about that (you can filter on cleanliness, BTW, when choosing a VRBO property). To our delight, everything we wanted to do was walkable - train stations, grocery stores, outdoor activities, even our first mountain excursion upon arrival (Harder Kulm). The hosts were very friendly, helping us to quickly get oriented to the apartment and all that the area offered. The apartment is quiet, even though on a main road - especially at night. All in all, this was an outstanding choice for our stay in Interlaken. We hope to stay here again on a future vacation!

Great place to explore the region

The apartment was very comfortable, we had all we needed after a full day on the mountains. We could relax in the spa area or prepare our dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. The location is very convenient to visit the mountains or the lakes and next to a big Super market. The hosts are very hospitable, they responded to all our needs and gave us tips to explore the region, while being very discreet.

Wonderful!!!

This property is in a great location with walking distance to the town square and very close to a grocery store. The decor is great and the apartment is super clean. We will hopefully stay here again! The owners of this property are fabulous. They provided us with a baby bed and highchair and also some extra outlet plugs when some of ours wouldn’t work. Also gave us directions and tips on where to eat, etc. Highly recommend!
