Beautiful Lake La Quinta Home with Large, Relaxing Back Yard

Welcome to our La Quinta home rental. Enjoy the calm of the resort-like home in the Lake La Quinta gated community with a large outdoor patio on just over 1/4-acre lot that includes a pool with a waterfall, palm and citrus trees, fire pit, gentle breezes and sparkling starry nights. The house is spacious and has entertaining options with Asian flair, open concept with an extra-long sofa in the seating area with a fireplace and TV, bar area with seating, breakfast bar at counter on kitchen side and dining area. The updated kitchen is brightened with a sky light, granite counters, large pantry, and coffee bar area. A large master bedroom with its own climate control and king bed opens into the spa like bathroom with a soaker tub and separate shower, and extensive his and hers walk-in closets. Two additional bedrooms in separate hallway, each with a full bath, one with two Twin beds (can be combined for King) and the other an office/den with luxurious pull out sofa which converts to a very comfortable Queen bed. Separate laundry room. The garage holds two cars. Gated community with community pool, tennis courts, pleasant walking through the complex with several parks on the lake where you can see mountains, birds, and boats. The mountains are an arm’s reach away. You will be close to fine restaurants, big box stores, grocery stores, medical care and recreation venues including golf courses, theater, tours, and hikes. We hope you enjoy your stay in our home and thrive with the desert warmth.

The new Cinemark Next generation theater is less than a block away. The BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells is 2 miles away. PGA West and BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournaments are within 6 miles.

Ron and his wife were wonderful hosts. Loved the house and location.

We highly suggest this place as a perfect winter getaway in the palm Springs/ La Quinta area. Very close to shopping and Old Town la Quinta.

Lovely area, beautiful yard with pool.

The hosts were wonderful, check in was a breeze. Lovely community with a little lake. The house was spacious and super well stocked. Great shopping, lots of Grocery stores to choose from. Old La Quinta has a good variety of restaurants to choose from. The only reason I rated it a 4 was the noise level. There is a very busy road right behind the pool with heavy traffic noise. The waterfall in the pool masked some of the noise, most people would probably be able to ignore it, but it was troublesome for us. There was also construction of a new community going in a cross the back, but this will go away when construction is complete. All in all a beautiful place to stay.

What great memories we made at this beautiful home

Location was great, near both shopping, restaurants and recreation. We were fortunate enough to stay for 5 weeks and spent a wonderful holiday with family and time with friends. Everyone loved the heated pool, the home was spacious and comfortable, many games of cards, cocktails at the bar. The backyard is a relaxing place to play cards and we were entertained by the hummingbirds and a roadrunner that came into the back yard and circled the pool. The owners were wonderful, and responsive to any question we had. We loved our time there and hope to return.

Sunshine Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. A lot of thought went into stocking it with anything you might need. Patio and pool were wonderful. Spent most of our time there. You are surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Great area for walking and plenty of places to go out to eat. If you have any questions, Ron and Jane are quick to respond.

Beautiful home, great location.

This home is furnished with everything you need. Most rental homes we have experienced lack some basics but this home had it all. Beautiful area and quiet neighborhood. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Amazing!

We had a fantastic month-long stay in La Quinta. The setup was just perfect for what we needed. Lots of space for a family of 3. Large open living space and large back yard. Everything, and I mean everything, was taken care of. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need, just bring clothes and food. We had a small issue with the pool heater and Ron was quick to respond and get it fixed. Fruit trees in the back with oranges, lemons and grapefruits. Gas fire pit to make s'mores. Very safe community with all the shops/restaurants nearby. We could not speak more highly of this property.

We are enjoying this as a second home and community when we get the chance to travel from our other home. Ron enjoys working on computers and seeing the sights in Coachella Valley. Jane enjoys knitting, reading, and the spa-like relaxation of trips to the desert. Together we have two grown children who also like to vacation at the desert home.

Why they chose this property

Ron's parents built this new home in 2003 and furnished it as a family home. We took care of the home when they decided to move back to Ron's hometown.
