The Lake Nottely Fun Lodge features 500 ft. of lake front luxury nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Georgia. Located 20 minutes from the towns of Blue Ridge, Blairsville and Murphy, the lodge features more than an acre of lakefront privacy to explore and enjoy. We catch crappie, catfish, bass and 50 lb. lake stripers while local streams are some of the top 10 places to fly-fish for trout in North America.

Our home is located 100 miles north of Atlanta on the shores of Lake Nottely in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. The lake is 20 miles long with 70% of the 110 miles of shoreline protected National Forest land making it one of the greatest relaxation stations in the Southeast.

Constructed in 2010, the lodge was rebuilt from an 1800’s barn relocated from New England featuring an open post-and-beam floor plan with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, gourmet kitchen plus loft. The house, stairs, and the slope to the dock is easy to manage for all ages. We have parking for 6 vehicles and have a keyless door entry system making check in / check out very easy.

The house has 3 King beds, 2 Queen beds, and 4 Single beds which makes it ideal for family gatherings, yet and affordable enough for couples. The Fun Lodge is a great destination for corporate retreats, team building adventures, fishing trips, golf groups, or family reunions.

Main level master bedroom (king) with commercial grade washer and dryer, walk-in shower and claw foot tub. The main level includes gourmet kitchen (fully equipped), huge dining room seating area (seats 12) along with a wrap around deck equipped with Adirondack chairs, 8 person hot tub, propane grill, picnic table and plenty of seating overlooking the lake.

Floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace, ceiling fans, Direct-TV in 3 rooms, wifi, Verizon wireless signal booster, telephone, and central heat/air.

The upper level has two bedrooms (both kings), full bathroom, and a reading loft with sofa sleeper converter.

The lower level has two additional bedrooms, a full bath, and huge game room with bar / kitchen area. The smaller bedroom has a queen bed and the larger room is a bunk room with 4 twins and 1 queen mattress along with two nook areas for kids to explore.

The lower level game room has a ton of activities for all ages. Air hockey, shuffle board, shuffle board bowling, pool table, foosball, movie and CD collection along with a 65" television w/ Direct-TV, with plenty of seating. The lower level also has a breakfast kitchen including sink, and a second full sized "drink" refrigerator with ice maker on the lower level with easy access to roll coolers from the basement to the boats. The cabinets are filled with games for kids and adults.

Guests have access to most water toys including noodles, tubes, canoe, paddle boards, kayaks, paddles, kids and adult life jackets with full access and use of the 2 story dock with 2nd floor lockable gate.

Mountain lakes also provide cooler summer temperatures with average highs of 84 and average lows of 62 during the "heat" of the summer and great crisp weather in the spring and fall for fishing, apple picking, or seeing the beautiful mountain colors. The lake is crystal clear and is a true enjoyment for swimming from April 15th - October 15th! Beyond that, we stick to the hot tub as lake levels also drop for rain water retention during winter months. Lake Nottely is part of the Tennessee Valley Authority and is a power generation lake that was built in 1941. The Lodge is located on northern part of the lake which is the larger party of the lake where the dam, rope swing, public beach and cliffs areas are located. Closest public boat launch is Poteete Creek - approximately 3 miles away and easy to navigate

We are less than 2 Hours from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Asheville, and Knoxville, for anyone interested in outdoor mountain adventure. Winter, Summer, Spring, or Fall, our house is accommodating for all!
