Exquisitely furnished huge home with spectacular wide water views of channel and Gulf. Sunset view are spectacular from the gorgeous expansive decks. Unparalleled level of luxury in this professionally decorated home. Living room has 20" soaring ceiling with very large windows overlooking wide open water channel to Gulf and Shell Island. Also has impressive curved oak and glass staircase in entry. It is not directly on the water so there is no dock for a boat, however, the Tierra Verde marina is 5 minutes away and Ft. DeSoto has a huge boat launch area just a few minutes away. The Island Grill is 2 minutes from the home with great food, atmosphere, and a giant pool for customer's to use as well.

Alumni Reunion

This property was perfect for our Eckred College alumni reunion. Linda was a great host and accommodating. The house was perfect, clean and has everthing you need. A great neighborhood and location. I would definetly stay there again in the future.

Luxurious home away from home

Beautifully decorated home with enough room to comfortably house our kids and their significant others. The house has everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable and because each room was a suite, couples were able to retreat to their own space when needed. Plenty of balconies and out door space. Linda (owner) was available for any need and was an incredibly gracious host!

We really enjoyed the neighborhood and location. It was a lovely place to walk around at night. However the home is too large, not cozy, outdated and in many places dusty and dirty. We would not stay there again.

Cleanliness Issues

Originally, there were 8 people staying in the house. Unfortunately, one of the guest is highly allergic to dust. The house is full of dust and has not been properly cleaned in some time. Thus, the family of 4 moved to a hotel for 4 out of the 6 nights. I emailed the owner to see if we could get a discount, but she ignored my emails.

The home is huge and allowed family to all be together for our wedding. That was important to us. Linda Lee was very kind. But not interested in the detail of cleaning. I paid a cleaning fee...I wish she would have used it to clean the house of cat hair and dust before we arrived. My guest seriously had cat hair all over there cloths when sitting on the rug in the front room. A couple of us have allergies to cats. That was a unwanted surprise. The house was impressive. Just needs cleaning.

We tried to overlook the uncleanliness of this home for our family weekend gathering but when a dirty thong was found in my 85 year old parents bedroom along with cockroaches elsewhere in the house, we reached out to Linda to request that she refund the cleaning fee that we were charged. She agreed, but here it is three weeks later and after repeated requests we have yet to receive this refund. Unprofessional and uncleanly! Heed the comments from others that have stayed here before booking.

This Home is Spacious!

We stayed here with our 4 adult children. The home is very spacious. It is lavishly decorated as the pictures show. Plenty of room to stretch out. If you are allergic to cats, this is not a good option. There was visible cat hair on furnishings. We are horribly allergic to cats, so this was not a good start! The home is older and in need of some repairs. . The outdoor areas were clean and enjoyable.

The big house

Enjoyed the property, house is big and had plenty of room. Host is very good and quick to respond. The house is in need of TLC and a really good cleaning. Otherwise, we loved our stay.

Perfect for a family gathering

We had a family gathering here and couldnt have been happier! The house is spacious and the kitchen is perfect for a large family dinner. Beautiful wrap around deck where we all watched the sunset.

Beautiful home but dirty!!

Beautiful home. Recommend hiring a professional cleaning crew. Refrigerator, bed and bathrooms were not clean. Visible dust throughout the house. It was an overall uncomfortable experience due to the condition of the home.

Wedding retreat to first class accommodations

My youngest daughter got married on the nearby adjacent isla Del sol. This home served as a convenient access yet as a quick escape from the ruckus as well. It was convenient for family get together as we had several grill outs, yet also a quiet place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of the intracoastal waters. It was a hit with all who stayed, however; because of all the nice and expensive decor, I would caution against young children. An enjoyable experience.

An amazing experience

Linda was a wonderful hostess. She accommodated every request, gave us detailed instructions and made the whole process easy. The house is beautiful and we loved every room. You can’t appreciate the decor from the photos alone. We will definitely be back.

Perfect spot for a perfect weekend.

My company booked an office getaway weekend at the Tierra Verde palace and had an absolute blast. The property manager was available and very responsive in conversation. The beds were comfortable, the view amazing and the location is great and lots of beaches and fun is within a short driving distance. The neighborhood was very quiet and a joy to drive through. We would definitely book a stay again!

March 29-31, 2019 -- Absolutely Perfect and Beautiful Weekend for our Daughter's Wedding

I can't say enough about this beautiful home! Our daughter's wedding was nearby in St. Pete on 3/30/2019, and about a month before booking the home, Linda was gracious enough to let us go take a look to be sure the size would fit our immediate family who planned to stay there. It was above and beyond what we expected - probably the most beautiful home we have ever stayed in! And we have all traveled the world, so that says a lot! After checking in on 3/29 we had some questions about where to find certain things, such as an ironing board, or where to leave the trash when we checked out, and Linda always responded to my texts promptly. She was easy to coordinate with our check-in and out times as well. There was a full instruction sheet on the kitchen counter on information about beach towels, the garbage disposal, outdoor waterfall, etc., so she was very thorough on letting us know what was available during our stay. The evening before the wedding we had a few family members over who had flown-in from various states, and the outdoor porch that was accessible from every room was a perfect gathering spot. Likewise, after the wedding we had some family members and out of town friends stop over and everyone felt so comfortable in Linda's lovely home! Some of my daughter's friends even enjoyed a sing-a-long on the grand piano - they are all college graduates in the entertainment field, from singers, to musicians, to educators. I can't even begin to say how beautiful the wedding morning photos look of the bride & groom on the gorgeous wooden spiral staircase. All photos taken in the house were stunning and now we will have a lifetime of memories that our immediate family will be able to share for many years to come. We are all so happy that we chose to stay all together in this home, instead of being separated into different hotel rooms. We were able to enjoy the busy moments together, as well as a quiet glass of wine at the end of each day's activities. My daughter's grandparents live in nearby Dunedin, my sister in Largo, so next time we have any sort of family event or celebration, we most certainly would book to stay in this spectacular home again! The photos do not do it justice - in person, the home takes your breath away. The top floor master suite looks like it was designed just for a bride to get dressed in and take her photos. We all thank Linda from the bottom of our hearts for being so gracious to our entire family!

Fantastic classmate reunion

We are a group of four couples who travel to fun places yearly. Six of us were in the same high school class. It has become a time for us to reconnect and enjoy each other’s company. Our accommodations at Tierra Verde were excellent. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and each couple had their own bedroom and bath which is not always easy to find. The house itself was beautiful and unique. I think our favorite area was the large back deck where we could sit and talk about the good old days as only senior citizens can do. The kitchen area was spacious and met all our needs. There was a grill on the deck which worked well as well. I would add that Linda was always available by phone or text to answer questions or give us recommendations for places to eat or visit. It was a great trip for us , and a big part of that was this wonderful residence. Thanks for making this a memorable trip.

Classic South Florida Experience

We were a group of five Masters swimmers (all over 40 yo) in town for an open water distance swim, and wanted a clean, comfortable place to stay. "The Palace" truly hit the mark! There were bedrooms for each of us, each with an en suite bath, and large living areas that made the home very comfortable. The home was very clean and all the appliances, plumbing etc. worked perfectly. There were no problems at all, and if there were I am sure our wonderful land lady would have addressed them immediately. Linda was a pleasure to work with before, during and after the stay. In truth we enjoyed the home so much we eschewed going out for our celebratory dinner Saturday evening and just ate at home with some carry out. We were exhausted, but sitting on the back patio, looking at the water, having a drink, relaxing in this lovely home made for a perfect experience. I'd recommend visitors to the area check this out, and we thank Linda for her kindness and hospitality!

Very spacious .quiet neighborhood and nice area. Definitely an optio n to hotels for larger groups.

House was good on inside.some areas were in a little disrepair . Back porch off kitchen was nice in evening Linens seemed very clean and all beds were reported by family as very comfortable. Definitely big enough for everyone to have their own space. Beach towels would be a plus. Some areas were not as clean as we would have liked. Such as refrigerator,drawers in Kitchen. Bathrooms were a little on unclean side. The home is interesting with lots of antiques and older furniture, all of which seemed in good shape Overall enjoyed our stay. I did get full deposit back. We always leave no trace. Linda was very accomadating to allow us early arrival. Also very flexible and available to questions prior to arriving Met us personally at house when we arrived Thanks for that Thanks

I loved this magnificent house the minute I saw it. Even though it is a very large home, it has a warm, inviting quality to it. The neighborhood is pristine and quiet. The back of the home faces west so I can get all the spectacular sunsets. At night the water sparkles from hints of lights across the water and the moon. It's almost magical. I love it and so will you.
