A galleried entrance leads to an open plan living area with a modern well equipped kitchen, spacious dining area and comfortable lounge. On the ground floor are two bedrooms, one king size with an en-suite bathroom featuring a double ended bath plus a twin bedroom and separate shower room. The provision of a travel cot and high chair cater for 4 guests plus a small child.

We enjoyed our 7 nights at this this well appointed large 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage.Fully equipped kitchen & laundry. Spacious open plan living area.We loved waking up to the sound of the local farm animals Parking was right at our cottage doorstep which was a bonus for us.Short drive to Wigton and Caldabeck with several pubs available with excellent food.Keswick is a 20 minute drive away with numerous restaurants and cafes.Nat and John were great hosts . We thoroughly recommend the Hayloft Cottage .We hope to return during 2027.

Perfect

The whole cottage has a lovely homely feel. It has everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. Large living space & kitchen. Large bedrooms with very comfortable beds. We travelled with my elderly parents & there was more than enough space for all of us. Plus the whole place was spotlessly clean. Great location to explore the lovely Lake District. Great communication from start to finish. The owners are available if needed but otherwise leave you to enjoy your holiday. Can’t recommend this cottage highly enough. Thankyou Natalie & John for a brilliant holiday.

This place is amazing nothing but praise from start to finish, idyllic location and property without doubt excellent, more than exceeded all expectations everything you can think of is provided, it’s a perfect home from home. Will definitely be returning. So child friendly and the garden is ideal for them to spend the day playing. The owners are so friendly and helpful, so thank you for making our break perfect.

What a fantastic place to stay!!

Stayed for three nights in January, already booked for February, cannot think of one thing that we would change (except the weather!!!!) Fully equipped with everything we needed....including a pizza cutter! Spotlessly clean, my 14 month old grandson enjoyed the play area and seeing the tractor and farm dogs!! Very comfy beds...brilliant shower...dishwasher....microwave....looking forward to many more stays!!

Lovely cottage for a family

We had a great week at Hayloft Cottage which was very well designed and equipped. The play area outside was ideal for our children and the location was great for days out in the north lakes. The cottage was very clean and well kept. A lovely place - we will be back!

We visited the cottage as a group of four and we're delighted with the beautiful accommodation and view. Natalie left us a lovely welcome pack of essentials and also access to extra's that you rarely get anywhere else, the cottage is spotless and perfectly equipped. If you want to enjoy the far Northern lakes with homely comforts to come back to then you must stay here.

Hayloft

Hayloft is truly a 5 star cottage. Absolutely spotless throughout with everything you could possibly need including thoughtful extra touches & a friendly welcome from Natalie and John. Peaceful with the comfiest bed we have had in a UK self catering property. 5 days was not long enough.
