Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury lodge with views overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw mountain range. Lake accessible by a jetty between March and Nov only.
Set on a lovely tranquil 5 star award winning park. Ideal retreat for walking, fishing, canoeing and cycling. Nearest pub 1 mile. Ideal base to visit areas within the Lake District National Park. Keswick being 6 miles and Cockermouth 7 miles.

The property was just right for us as we were attending a wedding nearby. Everything we needed was in the lodge a well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms with comfortable beds, also a good shower room and another bathroom. It was all clean and comfortable and i would recommend the lodge to anyone visiting the lakes. Julie has also been a very helpful host thank you.

This was our 3rd time booking the lodge and once again it did not disappoint. The lodge was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had spectacular views. Communication throughout was excellent, and the wine was such a lovely touch — we really appreciated it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to booking again!

Overall the property was great, well prepared and fully equipped. WiFi was worse than expected with connectivity failing regularly both for TV and device. Couldn't get the EV charger to work, with nearest charging station in Keswick or Cockermouth. Staff were very helpful. Lovely Outlook and location.

Booked this lodge last minute as we wanted to catch the heatwave. Absolute perfect location. We have been to the lakes several times but never bassenthwaite. Brought the paddle boards and literally a 30 seconds walk to the water. So quiet, stunning views, just perfect. Short drive into keswick too. The Lodge is really modern and was clean and well presented. Had everything you needed for a comfortable break away. In fact the only negative thing we could say is that we had to come home! Will be looking to book again soon!!
