Really lovely villa and pool in a gorgeous area. The host was so kind - respected our privacy while also being super helpful with ideas for things to do and yummy places to eat. Very enjoyable and relaxing

Beautiful house, perfect summer!

A really nice house with tasteful furnishing in a beautiful surroundings. The pool is cool and chlorine-free, great. Sebastiao is helpful and reserved, a good combination. We loved our stay at this marvelous place.

Villa San Miguel Descanso

This property is great and our host was outstanding. We were here for three nights. Our host greeted us with wine, cheese and fruit. He gave us a quick tour of the area pointing out restaurants, grocery store and bakery. He gave us a history of the property and offered suggestions for dining and sightseeing in Porto. The views from the house were outstanding. The kitchen well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom showers were nice. We enjoyed fresh fruits from the orchards on the property. The views of the Douro River are beautiful. It is a quick and easy ride to the town center of Porto. Our host is most gracious host the we have had in our three weeks in Portugal or in our stays throughout the United States.

Traumhaftes Anwesen und ein fantastischer Gastgeber! Ein wunderschönes, mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtetes Anwesen unweit von Porto. Das Haus ist mit allem Wesentlichen ausgestattet und bietet durch die großen Terrassentüren mit direktem Blick auf den Pool eine herrliche Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Unsere Kinder haben das weitläufige, sehr gepflegte Grundstück in vollen Zügen genossen. Sebastião war ein äußerst aufmerksamer und fürsorglicher Gastgeber, der uns mit vielen tollen Tipps versorgt hat. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön gilt der lieben Überraschung: Ein köstlicher Geburtstagskuchen für unsere Tochter! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
