Rome, Historical Center, Via Giulia: unique, elegant, bright, 2 bedrooms, 2 bath
The house is full of light because it is exposed to the south and to the second floor with a lift. Recently inserted in the circuit of holiday homes. Three large windows overlooking Via Giulia are above the church which is opposite, San Biagio degli Armeni. It is very spacious, 120 square meters, tastefully restored, has two large bedrooms with two complete brooms, one with a bathtub the other with a shower, a large double living room with a double sofa bed and a single bed to add. The house has a large kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances, including a washing machine. In the house there is air conditioning, independent heating and hot water without interruption. The coffered ceiling, the wooden floor, the marble bathrooms, the doors and the dark paintings depicted as eighteenth-century monochromes, the faux marble exhibitions, as well as the marble busts of the 18th century, which will welcome you at the entrance, characterize this elegant and single apartment. You will be welcomed by me or by my husband, as if I were at home, so I ask you to treat it as such. Thank you and welcome, Fabiola

The apartment was lovely (as seen in the pictures) and in a wonderful location for enjoying the "centro storico" of Rome. The owners were always helpful and very polite when I had a question.
The apartment on Via Giulia was fantastic. Although the apartment is minutes from major historic sights it is a very quiet street at night. The interior is decorated to make you feel as though you are truly in Rome and not some hotel lacking anything authentic. Our hosts couldn’t have been kinder. They gave us detailed instructions for every appliance in the apartment. They coordinated our private car service from and back to the airport. We would return to stay in their apartment and would be interested in other properties they rent. Grazie Mille!

Great location
We visited Rome the hottest week of the year! Thankfully, Fabiola’s apartment was spacious, clean and with good AC. The location could not be better. We stayed for a week. All that you want to see is within walking distance and yet out if the tourist crowds and noise There are food stores and great local restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and everything worked. Well equipped kitchen, washer and hot water. I will definitely recommend it and will go back.

We just returned from a week in Rome and thoroughly enjoyed this apartment. The hosts, Fabiola and Alberto, were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was well-appointed, tastefully-decorated and has period details and a charming view of a church across the street and gorgeous rooftops. Located on what many consider the best street in town with its wide cobbled thoroughfare, beautiful houses and proximity to the Vatican, Campo DiFiori, Piazza Navona, and easily walkable to many monuments. Close by there are both Michelin-starred and more casual restaurants, takeaway spots and favourite coffee bars too (Snack Bar Caffè Perù). And the elevator was a welcome relief after long days of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again!
This was such a wonderful home base for my families first trip to Rome. It is a picture perfect street - with character and charm but just a block or two away from accessing the sights of Rome.
The property was exactly as described but more spacious than we expected and the street more charming. The air conditioning was excellent and welcomed in the July heat.
We were able to walk to most sights and when the heat was too much the Ubers were accessible and a taxi stand nearby.
Fabiola and Alberto are excellent hosts. They met us on arrival with helpful information and arranged our transfer from the airport.
We could not have asked for a better stay.

Via Giulia Vacation
Great apartment. Fabiola and Aleberto were great and attended to a few minor issues promptly. Quiet but sometimes there is a lot of party noise from adjacent apartments and people wandering in the streets at all hours of the night. Otherwise, peaceful and comfortable. Super convenient to all the major sites (Vatican, Forum, Pantheon, etc., etc) Most are within a short walk. Two different taxi stands within a 5 minute walk. Public transportation easily accessible. Good markets, wine shops, dry cleaner/ironing service and a wonderful bakery are all in the neighborhood.

Dear Doug and Barbara I'm glad to have you as my tenants, I hope that one day, if you return to Rome, you want to return to one of my three apartments, remember that I also have a nice apartment in Venice and that I rent it for short periods, thank you for loving and respecting our apartment in via Giulia
All the best Fabiola and Alberto
Fabiola was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and booked transportation to the apartment from the airport and again back to the airport. She was unable to meet us in person for our arrival but her husband Alberto sent us excellent directions for self check in.
The apartment was exceptionally spacious and very clean. The location was extremely central and close to an excellent bakery, good restaurants, and a grocery store.
It was at times it was a little noisy. There was some noise from the apartment upstairs, but quite a lot of street noise late at night.
As we were leaving some time after the check out time, Fabiola and Alberto arrange for us to leave our bags in the building, which was very much appreciated
Overall, we had a wonderful stay in the apartment and very much appreciate Fabiola’s and Alberto’s hospitality. Grazie

A fantastic base for exploring Rome
Fabiola and Alberto were excellent hosts, and this apartment was a wonderful location to sample the pleasures of Rome. Convenient to sights in the Centro Storico and Vatican, it's very close to the 64 bus and others. Fabiola & Alberto were extremely helpful in getting us settled in and helping us enjoy things. When the bed started to make odd creaking noises, Alberto came and fixed it quickly; when we mentioned that the living room seemed very dark at night, the next day they brought over another floor lamp.
Key for us was that the apartment had two good-sized bedrooms with ensuite baths and a decent kitchen with a washing machine. We cooked a little, but mostly ate out. (It would have been nice to have a microwave, but we could cope without one). Via Giulia is fairly quiet most nights, but near hubs of activity. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Rome.

Superb stay in Rome on the Via Giulia
I would highly recommend this apartment. It’s spacious, beautifully decorated and well appointed. The location is near perfect on an historic residential and tranquil street which is pretty much within walking distance to all major sites. There are many small trattorias and cafes in the neighborhood with wonderful food and wine as well with welcoming staff — we had a fabulous stay thank you Fabiola!

Beautiful property with fantastic location
Staying at this property was awesome. The apartment is on a quiet street and a fantastic location. All tourist attractions were within walking distance. The property is very spacious and we had more than enough room for our party of 3. Beautiful decor and a lovely relaxing environment. A/C worked great in the heat of summer. Fabiola is excellent at communicating and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this property.

charming, quite, clean, bright and great location
Fabiola and Alberto were wonderful host. We had a couple of questions and they got right back to us. The apartment was so clean and had everything you needed. We loved that the apartment had sunshine and a great breeze (air conditioning was great) when you open the windows. The location was great for my husband and two teenage daughters, we walked everywhere. I loved that it was a quite street. We would definitely stay here again.

About the host
Hosted by Fabiola Jatta
I am a restorer of paintings, I was born and I live in Rome. I am married for 25 years, I have two wonderful children. I love my job, my family, nature. With my husband we restore houses and we love it I hope that our homes you like them why we restore with love and hope with good taste
Why they chose this property
With my husband we decided to rent this apartment that we love so much just for a few months, because next year we will return to live with our children
What makes this property unique
And 'a special home because he has all the doors and the shutters painted by a famous artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Why it is full of sun, because it is located in one of the most exclusive streets of Rome and is very close to all points of interest of the center of this wonderful city. You can do everything on foot, and you will not be in chaos but in a wonderfully quiet street The hpartment is big, so . for mutual protection, in case of stays longer than 5 days, I have to ask you to pay for your consumption: then the day of your entrance in the house, we will take the gas reading and we will take it back the day of your exit so you only pay what you have consumed, the price of 0.95 € per cubic meter of gas used. The same will hold true for electricity, you pay € 0.45 for kwatt. thank you
