REMODELLED - PLEASE READ

The last 6 months of 2021 the condo needed it's 5 year upgrade and remodel. Unfortunately, getting tradesmen and new replacement items was extremely hard due to supply issues.
However, As at 1st Jan 2022 I'm pleased to say the work at the Condo has been completed. Includes: NEWLY PAINTED, NEW FLOORING THROUGHOUT, NEW FURNITURE - SOFAS, PATIO TABLE & CHAIRS, NEW APPLIANCES - RANGE, DISHWASHER, REFRIGERATOR, WASHER AND DRYER ALL NEW.

Dana Point Vacation

The condo is comfortable and the location to the pool is great. The walk to Salt Creek Beach is very doable and easy to navigate the trail.

Condo in very nice area.

The condo was very nice and clean. The area was very upscale. We started to walk to the beach, but Siri told us walk would be 45 minutes instead of 15, so we went back and drove to beach. The beach was a beautiful public beach with plenty of parking and it was not very crowded. We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO.

Perfect Location!

The location can't be beat - within walking distance to the beach! Condo is as described - very comfortable and cozy and has everything you'd need for a mini-vacation. Full size laundry is a plus! There is one assigned covered parking spot, gated complex - I felt safe staying there alone. The complex itself is very quite - I didn't see any neighbors nor did I hear them during my stay. Pool was quiet both days I was there so I had the whole place to myself. I will be coming back to this unit the next time I am in town! Owner was a pleasure to work with!

My wife and I and our son and his girlfriend were in the L A area to visit my brother and his family for three days. We were very lucky to find such a quality property at a reasonable price. The unit was actually nicer than we thought it would be and the gated property was clean,safe, and quiet. Because the unit was near the pool and spa we could time our visits based on the amount of people using them. We have traveled all over the world and I would very highly recommend this property and the helpfulness of the owner. I am grateful that I was able to find such a relaxing place in the L A area.

Just okay

We’ve stayed in the same condo complex many times over the past few years. Total of five different units. This unit was okay, but not up to the standards of the other places. I’ve grown to expect a higher quality for the price per night. That all being said it was clean and equipped with all the basics and the complex is lovely. No cable tv but had a streaming box that allowed us to stream content. Bed had a topper that provided for a comfortable sleep.

Needs major TLC

Run down, old dirty appliances and couches, tattered towels. Pictured like a first floor condo but 5 steps up to unit. Neighbor in next unit has dog she can't control and gets into screaming matches with family members. Property Manager inappropriate with responses. Great location and friendly owners. See comments left by Lois in August and believe them.

Extremely Disappointed

Condo was shabby, dark and buggy. We stayed 3 out of the 4 weeks and left. Conversations with Michael indicate he is fixing issues starting this winter, however, the rest of us who rented do not get the advantage of that. Not in the habit of giving bad reviews, generally will not say anything, however, I felt this was necessary. Michael seems like a nice guy but apparently didn't pay attention to the condition of the unit.

Dirty, old, worn, out-of-order. Nothing was welcoming. Location was great and that was a good thing because you needed to stay out of this place as much as possible.

The owner was very quick to responding to my texts. The location was beautiful and the complex very.

Perfect location. Ground floor unit so we didn’t need to climb stairs. Owner needs to do an inspection. Unit is in need of some TLC. Neighbors friendly.

Dana point condo review

My husband needed a place to stay for a couple weeks while our home was being maintained. We had a lovely stay. The location and condo was nice and safe overall. The furnishing and kitchen supplies were not fancy but very adequate. The managers were very responsive and addressed minor requests right away. I would recommend this condo if you are looking for a place to stay near Dana Point. Katherine

Great location, A/C good, water heater good! Bad : TV Cox selection poor unless you like c-span. Refrig. ice maker down and trays leaked. We replaced trays. Shower curtain liner moldy, needs to be replaced. Overall condition is aged! Spend some money to upgrade and charge a higher price that property deserves.

Comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

We had good communication and our questions were answered promptly. The condo has a nice floor plan and although the amenities (pool and clubhouse) were closed due to public health mandates, we were able to socially distance and walk the beach or nearby trails.

Very nice, but.....

Everything was great, location. Check in process, price for the area etc. However, advertised as sleeps 4+. There was one before and 2 roll always. No problem except there was only one set of linens for the roll aways... Would have been nice to have a set of sheets. Pillow and blanket for each of the beds....

Why they chose this property

I moved from London, UK to Orange County in 2013. I'd spent 3 weeks here on 2 vacations in 2008 and 2010 and fell in love with area. The coastline, weather, lifestyle and breadth of activities offered were anyone's dream.
I lived at Ritz Point until starting my new business but stayed in the area, moving a only mile away.

What makes this property unique

I bought this condo after 6 months of searching. It fulfilled all the requirements I wanted from a property in Southern California. Easy living with On site facilities of Pool & Gym, walkable to all my favorite activities of Golf and the Ocean, (with the added bonus of skiing / snowboarding only 90 min drive away), along with being close (all within a mile) to shopping for everyday needs and top quality bars and restaurants, my decision to buy and live in Monarch Beach was very easy.
I now hope to welcome you, so you can experience all the delights of staying at such a perfect home in a perfect location.
