Thank you for leaving us a review. I would just like to say that the shower is a normal sized shower and I have checked with the guests that are in the gite this week with regard to having no frying pan or siff (which I assume means sieve/colander) and they have confirmed that there are two frying pans and two colanders in the cupboard. If you thought anything was missing you only had to ask and we would either have shown you where these things were or given you whatever you needed. Glad you enjoyed the pool and pottery lessons though.

We are shocked and saddened by your review of our cottage but, not really surprised as it did seem that you were intent on finding fault from the moment you arrived. In the twenty three years that we have been letting out our cottages we have never had such a terrible review and we are very upset by it. Our cottages are throughly cleaned between the departure and arrival of each set of guests and they are checked before the guests arrive. Most guests compliment us on how comfortable the beds are and what a great nights sleep they get in that cottage but, of course, you had to be the exception. You mention there not being a hairdryer but, if you had looked in the drawer of the chest of drawers in the bedroom you would have found it. As most people stream films and progammes, and have for a while, we took the DVD player out of that cottage and stopped including it in our advert about five years ago so, I can only assume that you had seen a very old advert for it to include a DVD Player. That aside, within half an hour of your saying that you wanted a DVD Player I provided one and set it up for you. As regards the iron, there was an iron in the cottage and it had been working the week before as the guests had used it. It was unfortunate that it would not work for you but, within minutes of you reporting that fact to me I provided you with another iron. I really do not know what else we could have done for you. We tried our best but, obviously our best was not good enough for you. Perhaps you would be better off in a 5 Star hotel for your next holidayinstead of a self catering cottage!
