29 Clearwater, Lower Mill | 4-Bed Lakeside Home with Spa & Pools

29 Clearwater is a contemporary three-storey lakeside house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It accommodates a maximum of six adults and three children, including one child on a Z-bed, plus one infant in a travel cot.

The property enjoys a beautiful position overlooking a freshwater lake at Lower Mill Estate, an exclusive holiday development set within a 450-acre nature reserve with seven lakes. Full-width, floor-to-ceiling glazing fills the house with natural light and showcases the far-reaching lake views.

Up to two dogs are welcome for an additional charge of £30 per dog, payable separately after booking. Please advise us of each dog’s breed, size and age.

A Z-bed is available for one child for an additional charge of £30. A travel cot measuring H74 x L100 x W74cm is available for £15. A fitted bottom sheet is provided, but a quilt and pillow are not supplied for health and safety reasons. A highchair is available free of charge. Please let us know in advance if any of these items are required.

Ground Floor

The entrance hall provides access to a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The first bedroom is a comfortable twin room with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside furniture, lamps and a wall mirror.

The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and an en-suite shower room with a basin, toilet and mirrored cabinet. Floor-to-ceiling patio doors open directly onto the ground-floor deck, furnished for relaxing beside the lake.

The third bedroom has bunk beds, a six-drawer cabinet, mirror and feature wallpaper. It also has direct access to the deck and far-reaching lake views.

A family bathroom includes a bath with a handheld shower, toilet, basin, glass shelving and a mirrored cabinet.

First Floor

The spacious first floor is arranged as an open-plan kitchen, dining area, television snug and living room, with oak flooring throughout.

The large kitchen includes a double sink, Neff gas hob, built-in Neff double oven and grill, electric plate warmer and combination microwave.

A farmhouse-style dining table with eight statement chairs provides plenty of space for shared meals. The television snug has a three-seater sofa, television and DVD player.

The main living area features a dramatic double-height vaulted ceiling and full-length glass doors, creating a bright and impressive space with wonderful lake views. Two three-seater sofas and two armchairs provide generous seating around the log burner. Logs are not supplied.

The room also includes a designer rug, coffee table, oak cabinets, statement lighting, a large wall mirror and a well-stocked library.

Second Floor

The fourth bedroom is a spacious and airy twin room with a vaulted ceiling and two Velux windows. It includes twin oak beds, matching bedside cabinets, a dresser, wardrobe, desk, mirror, coat stand and chest of drawers.

An internal window overlooks the living area and offers magnificent views towards the lake. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower and glass screen, toilet, basin and mirrored cabinet.

This room has space for either the Z-bed or travel cot, available at the additional charges detailed above.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

Leisure and Wellness Facilities

Guests have complimentary access to the Leisure and Wellness Club, which includes a heated indoor pool, seasonal heated outdoor pool, eco pool, sauna, steam room, gym, library and reading area. Luxury spa treatments are available at an additional cost.

Swimming sessions must normally be booked online 24 hours in advance. Each property may book one one-hour session per day, choosing either the indoor or outdoor pool, subject to availability and seasonal opening times. Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their session reallocated. During low season, advance booking is not required on Fridays; during high season, Friday sessions must be booked as usual.

Guests may also use the heated Mill Village outdoor pool, which is open from 8:00am until dusk throughout the year and does not require booking. Heated to approximately 30°C, it has shower facilities and is located within easy walking distance. The pool is unsupervised, and guests swim at their own risk.

The gym is available without advance booking on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no time limit, although capacity is restricted to 10 people. Opening times vary seasonally.

On-site Facilities and Activities

Lower Mill Estate has an on-site restaurant, seasonal shop, tennis courts, football pitch and nature walks. A private chef may also be arranged.

Additional activities may include paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, cycling, scooter hire, tennis, soft play, yoga and seasonal children’s activities.

The property is within a short drive of several traditional Cotswold villages offering a good selection of shops, restaurants and local attractions.

A guaranteed late checkout of up to 4:00pm is available on Sundays at no additional cost.

Lower Mill Estate is family-orientated. Small, considerate adult gatherings are welcome; however, hen and stag parties are strictly prohibited.
