Check other dates for the total cost remains very attractive.
The comps were checked over two or more days and attempt was made to be completely accurate but one checking rates should run her own comps as a protective measure. Tax was computed on the total shown before tax.
These were all two bedroom units with two baths in Heron Marsh a regime within Litchfield by the Sea.
August dates remain open and only three nights are required for a booking during the month of August.

In late April of 2026 guests who were staying in the area and who had reserved the unit for a week during the summer, asked if they could view the unit while they were there. It had been cleaned and was vacant. This is the response we received-
"Thank you so much for allowing us to visit your beautiful unit #... We loved it. We are looking forward to returning..."
This unit has been professionally decorated, has a grand view of the lake and fountain and beach access is directly across the street.
Now what could you do with the extra thousand (about) and more you saved renting our unit at the beach???

For returning and new guests, the unit has had for several years both bathrooms remodeled and since then new LVT flooring, and new furniture in the living room and elsewhere... Look for yourself at the new pics.
Choice of many seasoned guests because of the serenity and low density which Heron Marsh provides-- there is no unit either above or below this one, with the added bonus of covered parking. No children pushing a toy on the floor above. This unit not only has a lake view but has a view which no other unit can excel .. the spacious deck overlooking the lake and fountain is the perfect place for morning coffee and adult drinks in the afternoon with lunch in between.
State of South Carolina and Georgetown County graciously require 11 percent which includes the charge of both entities.
One bedroom with king and bath down and one with two queen beds and bath on upper floor. Both bathrooms have been remodeled and new luxury vinyl flooring installed during May 2024 on the main floor. New furniture etc. was added to the rooms in 2025
Walk out the front door from our third row location, cross the street and walk down the "beach access" between the units across the street and then cross the street at the beach access and you and the sand are at the sand. Conversely if you have more gear that you want to take walking, just drive the car to the Beach Club and let the passengers and ocean gear disembark and your family will see the mighty Atlantic Ocean with boardwalks
Parking is at the ocean and is in very close proximity to the
Beach Club at the ocean. Staying here relieves you of trying to find a place to park on the island itself or getting to Huntington Park before it closes, usually by mid-morning in the summer
Cancellation policy is a full refund if cancelled 30 days before arrival OMITTING the day of arrival: Thus if your scheduled day of arrival is on the thirty-first (31) then you must have given written notice of cancellation no later than midnight on the 1st of that month. Moreover should you cancel within 30 days before check in (arrival date) you will not be due a refund; however, as soon as a cancellation is requested, we will place the property back on the rental site as available and if it rents you'll receive the benefit of the net rental received by the owner.
The fee charged by VRBO may or may not be refunded and that amount is shown when you book. Please check on this arrangement at the time of booking

When you book with us, you will only be paying in addition to the rental amount a charge of $150.00 for housekeeping and state and county tax which presently total 11 percent for stays less than 30 nights and the new fee charged by the entity who must control the gate, which is $15 per day and something less for rentals of 30 days or more. . There are NO other fees or charges but for the VRBO fee and that amount is not provided the owners until it appears within the fees at time of booking. But for and except for a golf cart and/or EV for which a small fee is charged for electricity, there are no other charges.
We work at sanitizing the kitchen and bathrooms. But please bring your own sanitize wipes for often touched objects. etc.
There is no registration with the keyless entry system. Wipe off the pad before use in the event someone has touched it since cleaning. You will receive the code a day or two before your arrival date.
We do not supply soap, detergent, bags etc. but paper towel and toilet paper for a few days will be in the unit. There is an outside camera and if it is tampered with to any degree, access will be denied and no refund in part or in whole and under any other circumstances shall be due the guest. The penalty just described is enforced for guests who attempt to bring any pet into the unit(having pets are against the rules of Litchfield by the Sea) or to engage in any event which has not been approved by the owner in advance or to have more guests overnight than the inquiry stated which the guest authored. Use of illicit drugs or of being involved in any sort of action for which the police or deputies were summoned also trigger the expulsion described above.
The biggest attraction is the wide, sandy, white beach and the Atlantic Ocean. to which you can walk in no more than five to six minutes, and hopefully the special memories created will trump the ocean view and sound.
Golf courses abound and I will be glad to give you information about the available courses and proximity to the unit. Come and relax in the well-appointed and comfortable living area and enjoy the large flat screen TV. Free wi-fi in the unit; enjoy watching the coastal birds and jumping fish from the deck.
Just a short stroll down the beach is the Litchfield Inn which is the only Litchfield restaurant that can claim an ocean view.
Free tennis and pickle courts, beach access, and pool are close to the unit. For the party animal Myrtle Beach with all its attractions is located about 25 miles to the north. Fishing is available on the lakes within the resort (there is a crab dock); and deep sea or creek fishing boats as well as guides for hire are in close proximity.
Jet Skis, RVs, MOTOR CYCLES, campers, trailers, and trailered boats are NOT allowed within the gate to Litchfield by the Sea. There is however a large unattended parking lot presently on the premises on the north side of Litchfield by the Sea, the availability of each can be ascertained at the official gate into the resort.
There is a health club on the premises but it is not a free amenity. It does have an indoor pool, and a sauna which historically works on and off and a couple of work out equipment items. A larger health club (the Y) on Highway 17 less than a mile away or so is the better choice. It has a web page now known as the YMCA.
Only after inspection and trial by you, you are welcome to use whatever is in the owner's closet on the ground floor--it may include two bicycles which were bought from one of the bicycle rental services at the end of a season.
